Recently Currys have started to become fairly competitive for their electrical items and in some cases are almost comparable or even better than some of the prices available on some web sites.
I went here to purchase an LCD TV, mainly because they had a large selection of TVs on display which allowed me to directly compare different models side by side, something you can't do on the web.
The other good point to consider is that you can purchase and take away there and then rather than having to take a day off work and wait in for your web purchase to be delivered.
