Thank you Rhys, he was an employee that was so helpful and nice. They have a castle inside and a marvel section off to the side upstairs!

They have the typical Disney merchandise, but what makes them different for sure is the Cinderella pumpkin carriage downstairs on their ground level. You enter one side (Cinderella's carriage post-fairy godmother) and exit the other (back as a pumpkin). They also have a small section of London branded Disney goods (cup, coin purse, plushes, reusable bag, etc.) on the first floor towards the back near the registers. Look towards the back area, first floor for an adorably large Mickey guard plush and Donald plush to take photos with (not sure if they are for sale). Find this store right in the heart of London's shopping area on Oxford Street.

This is your typical Disney store. It is NOT a Wonderful World of Disney Store like the ones you would find in Orlando and California. The difference between the two is just being way less impressive and very underwhelming. Disney used to have more WWOD stores (like in NYC) but closed them down and converted the stores into typical Disney stores that are very underwhelming, don't have much merchandise, and do not have many collectables. This store was cute due to the Cinderella's Carriage that was half pumpkin/half carriage and for the small area they had dedicated to Beauty and the Beast. Overall underwhelming and I would not go out of my way to go and see this store. Wait until you can make it to a Wonderful World of Disney those stores are gorgeous and breathtaking.

This store has just had a re-vamp and it's fantastic - they certainly have restored the magic they were previously lacking!

I was like a little girl again and completely overwhelmed by the atmosphere (although I was so busy looking at one thing that I almost walked into a cuddly toy display!)

They have lots of new ranges at the moment so are catering for everyone from babies to adults. I can't say I've ever been a huge Disney fan although I did like the films as a kid and was quite excited by the Disney Princesses display. Lots more boys toys these days too, it's not all fairies and pixie dust...

Although, speaking of fairies and pixie dust when I was about to leave the music changed and everyone gathered to watch something going on in the centre of the store, I couldn't get to the front (rude to barge children, maybe?) but as far as I could see something magical was going on and fairies were flying around. The presence of business men in suits (sans children) reassured me that adults can like magic too.

I want to go back nearer to Christmas and use my friends' children as an excuse to go and buy gifts - Yee Gan, you can come with me, the magic has been restored!!!

      I feel like a princess!
Wow, Disney store has sent me right back to my childhood!

The big bold red sign has naturally pulled me in - and it felt like a parallel universe in the middle of the crowded Oxford street, if you can ignore the children's squeaking shouting and crying.

It's a two floored shop- loaded with plenty of Disney themed goodies...
From Frozen to nostalgic oldies... They have it all, and it's all so awesome.

The prices are rather high of course, but this will be a memorable gift if you (or your kids, or whoever you get it for) are into those things.

I guess it's always a crowded place and it was double as crowded due to advent time when everyone's on a Christmas shopping frenzy. It's still manageable to walk around.

If you want to get me a present - so get me one from here! ;)

Do you want to build a snowman?
So who do I look like?

For one small moment yesterday, I got all worried that maybe I was starting to grow up but I checked with my teddy bear of 40 years and he reassured me that I was still as kiddy as ever!!

The reason for my concern was that I didn't enjoy my visit to the Disney store. I didn't even feel any of the the magic and excitement I used to. Despite the friendly greeting by the staff, it all feels just a little old now and they need something to give it a lift.

I had come to look for some gifts for youngsters but didn't find anything which excited me, which is the benchmark for a gift and I left empty handed.

Come on Disney, give us back the land of dreams!

I'm a kid at heart. So when I realised there was a Disney Store on Oxford Street, I ran (not walked) inside and was dazzled. There's two floors, and it seems that the ground floor is geared toward the newer Disney shows and movies (there's a huge Princess and the Frog display at the moment, and a Hannah Montana display in the back), while the upper floor seems more geared toward the classics.

I'm a sucker for plushes, and there's tons of them from so many different movies. The only downside is that they can be a bit expensive. I don't really want to pay £14 for a small Winnie the Pooh. But there's some great sales too. I got a marionette puppet of Kevin from Up for £2, as opposed to at least £15.

If you have kids, or if you're a kid at heart, this place is a must-see.

A few years back I had given 5 stars right away but they seem to have converted to mainstream or something. Before, the Disney Store was also a great adress for rare things you could not buy elsewhere. I was a bit disappointed to be honest.

However I found a few 'jewels' you cannot get anywhere else, which left me content after all. It's surely heaven for children. Prices are reasonable. I must add that they sell quality products. Cups, shirts and plastic bowls I purchased years ago are still in perfect shape even though they are in constant use. So at least you know you spend your money for something durable. :)

I feel like a weirdo for writing this but yes, I do enjoy visiting the Disney Store every time I go there. So many good childhood memories coming alive literally the moment you step into that store and are greeted by your childhood heroes. :)

The last time I was there -I bought a teddy Winnie The Pooh for my little cousin:) It was really cute and she liked it.Well..actually it was kind of small for its price.. and as a disadvantage I would say that all the things are quite expensive.
I should say that the store is really nice,well-designed. But sometimes very loud.
If you are keen on watching Disney movies-you will like it a lot:)
