Le Clos Bourguignon

The frog legs have little to no taste. The escargot just didn't seem to taste right. I'm being kind by issuing two stars. Not sure how/why this place has decent ratings. The onion soup is just bland. If u read this review and still show up, that's your fault...

A couple things about me...I am an American and I love French Onion soup and Beef Bourguignon.

I try onion soup almost everywhere I go, the one here was not good. The soup was almost a yellowish color instead of a deep brown. The cheese and bread were ok, but since the underlying soup was like water I didn't bother finishing it.

The Beef Bourguignon looked ok, but the potatoes are just hot potatoes. No seasoning, mine weren't even in the sauce really. So they added nothing. I tried the beef and the flavor was ok, but overall not good. I literally stopped eating it after 3 bites because it just wasn't good.

The fries were delicious. The server laughed a bit when I asked for ketchup. Not sure why that was funny. The ketchup I didn't care for...I prefer Heinz.

The French bread with butter was of course delicious.

There was one bartender for entire restaurant on a Friday night and one server. The french onion soup lacked cheese and flavor. The beef Bourgogne was tough. Much better food and service to be had in Paris. Took 20 min for them to take order for food or beverage.

Great service but bourguignon diddnt have much taste , escargot was flavorful as well as the frog legs. Needed more seasoning in my opinion. Great ambience and beer

Decided to eat here and it was the biggest culinary disappointment on our trip to France. The French onion soup tasted like water with onion in it. The cheese on top wasn't even melted and the soup was served cold. The beef bourguignon wasn't horrible but I ended up having beef bourguignon somewhere else that was way better. I don't recommend this place at all.

Bad menu. Tried to order the New York strip but 20 min away as told they were all out. Then tried to order the flank steak only to be told they were all out as well. Should have l left then but ended up with the worst Chewy piece of stealer that was over cooked. Waiters did not care. She seemed happy with enjoy us suffer through our meal. Disappeared for most of the service. You would not recommend. Zero stars!!!!!

Truly one of the best restaurant I've eaten at in Paris. The servers were attentive to our order and offered their personal recommendations. Both the bourguignon and the French fries were stellar, a place I won't forget.

Good menu and a photography menu for tourist. The bar area is good with some good draft. The place is casual and people are friendly.

The place can get busy and made service less attentive, but overall they provide great service.

Most of all the price is decent at such location.

Amazing food amazing service. We had wine and a meal for 4 adults and 2 children. There service was so un-French. When I asked for a baby seat instead of saying no in the true parisien way they went to the restaurant near by and borrowed their baby chair. Their service was stellar, will always go back now when I'm in Paris. The lady and gentlemen were super attentive and recommended Amazing options and were just perfect. Much different from walking into an empty restaurant being advised it's fully booked, waiting to prove them wrong and seeing that it isn't fully booked.

Easily the worst meal I've had in Paris. The French onion soup and the steak tartare are particularly bad. You have to really put in effort to achieve this level of incompetence. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to give this restaurant four stars--I have to assume the reviews are not real.
