Maplins is the store for all your electrical needs. The staff are well informed and knowledgeable, which is a great help when you don't know much!


There is free parking outside and it is easy to get to, just out side of the centre.


They sell all sorts, from computer parts, car stereos, keyboard stands and even some disco lights! Everything in there is reasonably priced and much cheaper than any other high street stores.


They use to stock car bulbs, which were at least half the price of a well known car shop however they were out of stock last time I went.


A shop which is a great visit if you need anything electrical.

I believe that this has only recently opened up and I was so happy when it did. It is a fairly large version of the branch and is well stocked.


I came here when I was doing electronics work and needed various resistors and LEDs. I wasn't too sure what would work so I discussed the project with their technical guys who told me what I needed and how to do it. So very helpful in that respect.


This place is also a haven for gadget lovers and always seem to be first in line on a new fad project. I saw those little remote control helicopters here first before anyone else was selling them.

Great electrical retailer based in Snowdon drive retail park, I've used them twice now to sort out my TV and they have always had the right bits in stock, great friendly advice and anything I did not use they refunded, excellent service. Easy to get to and plenty of free parking available.
