Ora Salon

This hairdresser is not just in a great location (close to Covent Garden and Leicester Square) but they also provide an exellent service.
This salon is owned by very nice italian people who really are on top of their game. I always go there and I never went out unhappy. The prices are really good for the service they provide there. You can choose from many drinks (wine, juices etc) and usually you get nice head massages as well.

I also went to Ora on a Groupon and Stella cut and colored my hair. I haven't stopped visiting her since! The rest of the staff is a mix of warm and friendly or "too cool for school" but Stella and I have built up quite a rapport. I trust her implicitly and sometimes feel she has more of an investment in my hair than even I do!

I found Ora after my previous regular stylist moved away I tried a few places in the vicinity and, although some of them were decent enough, I never felt the rapport you really want with a stylist if you're going to be a long term customer. And then I happened upon Massimo! As well as being an extremely experienced and talented stylist, he really listens and is very skilled in working with your hairs' own natural inclinations, which makes life a lot easier when it comes to styling it yourself at home. He also makes clever suggestions as to what will best suit your face or make you look younger.
My first appointment was 2 hours long and this was just for a cut and blow dry - so I knew that he was totally committed to getting it right and I never felt rushed at all, or like I had to fit into some allocated timeslot.
I have since been back three more times and now I place myself entirely in his hands knowing that he will make my hair look its best. There are cheaper stylists around but Massimo is well worth the extra few pounds after all, your hair is on show everyday so why would you spend less on it than you would on a good pair of jeans for example?
Also to note - I have extremely thick hair which has stumped many a stylist in the past. But having a fair amount of hair himself, Massimo is unfazed by this and does an awesome blow dry.
He, and everyone else I have come across in Ora, is extremely friendly and personable, creating a very relaxed yet efficient environment.

I have been visiting ora for about two years and have always had fantastic service from every consultant I have seen. I usually see Massimo, one of the directors, who has transformed my hair from a dull, flat, ordinary, bob to an amazingly beautiful super short cropped style which I would have never have thought I would have (or be able to pull off!) which regularly receives inquiries about where i get my hair done! I have got friends of mine, my own customers from my workplace and even strangers on the street to join his client list! I even took my mum, coming from 200 miles away to have him work his magic on her hair! Ora is an amazing experience.

When I go to Ora, my favourite part is the massage I get whilst my hair is washed and conditioned. It's really relaxing and the products always smell wonderful too. The whole atmosphere of the salon is relaxed and professional. All the staff are very welcoming, friendly and interested in their work. They take time with you and I have never felt rushed, and always provide refreshments which is lovely. The haircut is always of very high standard and this is obvious in compliments I receive about my hair! They also have a great collection of magazines. Since coming here I havn't been anywhere else. Hiro cuts my hair and is wonderful at creating the style I want. All in all, the salon definitely makes you feel special and provides a wonderful service.

The experience at Ora was nothing short of amazing. Massimo and his team made every effort to make me feel comfortable and relax at the helm of their creative genius. I let them have complete free creative reign of my hair, and I left very happy with my cut and colour- and will most definitely be back! High end salon with very high end results! Definitely recommend Ora and especially Massimo!
