I crave ramen, get it and find I don't usually like it. This place I was truly wowed by and have to say it's the best ramen I've ever had! I got the Sprouting Up that had the Brussel sprouts, so good! I sat at the bar with Ally and she was very friendly and chatty amongst being very busy. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Atlanta!

I have been wanting to try Purple Pig for years and the food definitely didn't disappoint! They don't take reservations so a coworker and I fought our way through the crowd to put our names on the list. 1-1.5 hour wait so we headed to POP for some champs. We got a text message maybe 30 min later so rushed back as you have 10 min to get there or your reservation goes to someone else which is understandable. We were sat at a community table where they had originally asked us to crawl behind people into a tight middle of the table space. We asked for the corner that was open which they weren't pleased about because they were saving it for "larger" people. Honestly, it is so tight in there anyway we couldn't move as it is. Our server, Kyle wasn't the friendliest I've ever had. It's as if we were testing his patients with the few questions we had. We ordered a 1/2 bottle (just do a full) that didn't seem as so and when he asked if we wanted another I said sure, but the first one didn't even seem like a half. He said well I didn't pour it so I don't know in a very snarky tone. I said I know, just commenting on it where he continued to say well I didn't pour it, yeah yeah I know. Anyway, we ended up sitting next to an amazing couple that we became friends with and shared some food with too. They felt the same on service, we were a nuisance. We had Octopus - SO good, Caponata - hesitant to try but glad I did, Ribs - can't go wrong there and Brussels - flavor was good just wish the sprouts we're bigger, it was just all the layers. Would I go back ehh maybe but there's a lot of great places in Chicago.

Probably the best restaurant in this town. The food was good but a little salty. I had the gator and salmon. Drinks were on point. We had a late dinner due to work and felt rushed out because they were closing so I wasn't fully able to enjoy my martini. I'd go back for sure.

I have been to many nail salons across the country as I travel quite a bit for work. I currently reside in TN and thought they had the worst manicure salons ... I was wrong. Disappointed for a great Minneapolis neighborhood. The pedicure ladies were GREAT!! So hate that it's only 2 stars. But the gel manicure ... the guy rushed to the point where the nails weren't drying fully between polishes and he left with little air pockets. Then 2 days in they chipped on multiple fingers. I get my nails done religiously every 3 weeks due to growing out however I tore all of the gel off tonight out of frustration due to chipping and it's been less than a week. Not impressed at all and sad $40 or whatever it was on just my nails to not last even a week when I didn't like them to begin with.
