Went with three others to experience the Cinco de Mezcal event at 618 this weekend with a tasting menu of plates that will be served at their new restaurant Mezcal. Not only were the cocktails and meals outstanding, but the service from Megan J was perfection. She explained all the dishes they were offering in detail, answered our questions, and made sure that every minute of our visit was the best it could be.
From the Queso fundito and Yucatán pork taco appetizers, through the NY strip and crusted halibut main course, the food was top notch. The meal was completed with a Mexican fried ice cream desert. Excellent food, exquisite ambience and decor, and fantastic service by Megan J. We could not ask for anything more.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 031 juill. 2019Avis précédentNormally i come to 618 for the fantastic, New-York quality food and service. Their skirt steak, short ribs, and pappardelle bolognese are among my favorites. This past Sunday i noticed on their Facebook page a cocktail special that piqued my interest.
My wife and I specifically went to 618 to try their "Let's Dew that Again" cocktail. Created by bar manager Danielle, it was a delicious blend of gin, honeydew juice, lemon, cucumber and mint. What a refreshing summer cocktail! So delicious and in talking to other patrons I could tell it would sell very well.
The meal (as always) was top notch. We had shisito peppers and their gem salad for appetizers and i tried their scallops special for my entree. As always, the chef was totally on point with the preparation and presentation. An added bonus was Mexican Street corn which i believe will be offered for a limited time.
Do yourself a favor - run, do not walk to 618. The food has always been top notch. With an expanded cocktail menu and a Wine Spectator awarded wine list, it will become even more challenging to get a table on busy nights. - Wendy M.Howell, États-Unis0246 avr. 2024

Have been really wanting to come the "new and improved" 618 for quite some time now! So, it was a clear choice for a girls night out..
Before the visit, I appreciated the ease in changing our reservation right before out time.
Upon arrival, the location doesn't seem very impressive... looks more like a banquet hall. There is parking, but I'm glad that there is also valet service, because it fills up FAST! I got parking because I had a 5:15 reservation, but some of party who arrived a little late, couldn't find any.
It is impressive inside! Very inviting bar as soon as you enter... floral ceiling decor--we sat right next to a "tree". It adds a nice vibe to the experience.
Jim, our server, was very professional and prompt. Drinks were tasty--but I would have wanted more options in cocktails, there weren't many to choose from. The lychee martini and spicy boi were nicely balanced. We chose to share the short rib ravioli, grilled flatbread, and truffle spuds.. I can say that they were all average, except the standout were the spuds.. very flavorful! I would definitely order that again.
Everyone enjoyed their dinner, my pork chop was cooked to perfection. Juicy and full of flavor.
We shared the sticky toffee cake, which everyone else raved about.
Overall, I would say that I've definitely had better food and cocktails, but I wouldn't mind returning to try to give the rest of the menu a try.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dori K.New York, États-Unis13131214 mai 2024
I've been to 618 a few times. It never disappoints. The inside is soo pretty and the waitstaff is always on point coming by to make sure everything is going well and if you need anything. Their dirty martini is so good and you can't go wrong with their margarita. Everything I've eaten here has been fabulous from the small plates like mushroom ravioli, short rib ravioli, baby artichokes and brussel sprouts. I usually get their salmon which has a light apricot mustard glaze which is really good. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant.

I had my birthday dinner here with my family and I was truly impressed. This is a great spot for special occasions or a nice date night. We shared a bunch of appetizers as a table, plus tried a variety of entrees. I particularly loved the lamb sliders, stuffed mushrooms, and my entree which was the braised beef short rib. Each dish was prepared fantastically and presented so beautifully. The warm sticky toffee cake was heaven sent and the best way to end the meal. It tasted like caramelized brown sugar and so moist and delicious. I absolutely loved this restaurant. The ambiance was very romantic yet cozy and the food was phenomenal. Our server was fantastic and very friendly and easy to talk to. I look forward to dining here again someday and can't wait to return!

Great place to celebrate an event.
Came here to celebrate an anniversary and they made our experience very enjoyable. The service was quick, friendly, helpful and attentive. They definitely made our day. The restaurant itself is very beautiful.
The food itself was superb. I had the beef short rib which was very tender and flavorful. Also had the cacio e Pepe pasta which was amazing as well! They had a great drink menu which I will be sure to try next time I come.
100% recommend and I will be back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - 21 janv. 2024
Awesome experience at 618 for my mom's birthday! Food, drinks, ambiance and service are all top notch. We truly loved everything we ordered.
Not only are food and drinks great, but service is above and beyond here. Our server Meghan took care of us and made my mom feel special with the happy birthday espresso martinis!
I'd highly recommend dining here for any occasion. Most people were dressed on the casual side but you could certainly dress up a bit here as well.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 7 janv. 2024
My boyfriend and I have been wanting to check out this as we heard nothing but good things /good reviews but to be honest I have no idea what all the hype was about because I wasn't impressed at all.
We arrived for our reservation in fact a few minutes earlier , and yet we had to wait over 35 minutes for it which was crazy because what's the point of even making a reservation at that point so already not going well.
Then we finally sat down. The interior was definitely nice inside , more of a relaxing vibe I guess you could say a romantic too.
I ordered the angry shrimp and my boyfriend ordered the crab cakes and a side of mashed potatoes.
The bread is they gave with the table was kinda hard , I was hoping for warm soft bread but it was cold and hard but the butter was soft so that was a positive.
As for my entree , I had asked if they could leave out the chilies but he exclaimed it came with it but he recommended many people just add cheese to help dilute the spicy flavor. But what he failed to mentioned to me that it would cost $16 extra freaking dollars to add that cheese lol I mean was it gold cheese ? So that ruined it for me because who the heck charges that much more for dollops or cheese . On top of that it was still incredibly spicy , so it didn't even make the meal anymore enjoyable just more money in there pocket.
Anyways we didn't stay for dessert but to be honest I would have rather spent my money somewhere else. To me not worth it.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 1 - 11326731829 mars 2024
I went with a group of six for a birthday dinner and it was my first time. The restaurant is large and decorated beautifully. It has a bar area and I could see that there were some groups lingering over drinks at 11:00 at night when were done eating. The drinks were not as strong as I'd like but were tasty.
The menu has something for everyone and perfect for groups. Apps were shareable, my favorite was the flatbread. Most of us ordered fish entrees. My halibut was cooked to perfection and had nice sides to compliment it. They allowed me to bring a birthday cake and they sliced it and served it to us. This is definitely a good option in the area.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 18 mars 2024Avis mis à jour2 check-ins
Another wonderful experience at 618, this time to celebrate one of our children's 5th wedding anniversary. I am pointing that out because they did a nice job of making them feel special. Our server, Christine went above and beyond. There was a happy anniversary card on the table when we arrived and many other details throughout the evening including sparkler candles.
Dinner and cocktails were all excellent.
One of the stand outs was the Cacio e Pepe pasta.

It was our first time at 618 but certainly won't be our last. The restaurant is quite spacious and beautifully done. There are decorative, lit trees surrounded by flowers throughout the space. It definitely has a vibe and is very popular- making a destination visit. Our server, Rick, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the food. Service was very good.
