Been there a few times. Usually food is good. The sushi isn't as impressive as you would hope. Place is normally busy, no reservation needed.

Has a decent variety of things. They have good deserts. Servers are good at refilling drinks and taking empty plates on a timely manner.

Restaurant is usually always warmer than it should to the point it can be a little uncomfortable.

Bathrooms there aren't as good as you would hope. One of the toilet seats there wiggle and feel like you are going to fall off.

Atmosphere is family friendly and casual. Overall though not a bad buffet but could be better.

If you are talking large Chinese buffets, this is one of the better ones around. It isn't the best I've had in the metro, but it is solid and predictable. I would say 3.5 stars if we could give half stars. Nice sushi selection and decent quality as far as buffets, nothing too wild, but solid. Buffet selections and solid and they keep everything fresh (except some super overdone crab legs last time I was there). Service is generally good, they take plates regularly and refill drinks as needed. The ambiance isn't anything special, not overly kitschy or anything, but not much to catch your eye. My Dad loved this place, so nostalgia is heavy here for me.
It won't knock your socks off, but it is a solid buffet at a solid price. It fits the bill if you are looking for a buffet with a lot of choices at a reasonable price.

Haven't been to 98 pounds buffet in awhile and it feels good to be back.

The food was great and tasted fresh not dried out from sitting for a long time. The crawfish was easy to eat and not dried out from over cooking. The clams were flavorful and not too salty.

The salted five spiced shrimp was good but a little hard to peel.

Overall, the buffet s has a nice selection even without crab legs and Korean sliced beef.

Table service was prompt and place was clean.

Delicious food. Service was off when I brought my daughter and her friend on Saturday March 9th. I hadn't had desert yet but was given fortune cookies which is the sign to get out. We did not feel welcome.

I really love all the different varieties of food really good food. The service there is awesome the waitress is always awesome. Definitely kid friendly family friendly; an awesome relaxed restaurant.
Warm and inviting ambiance.

Good standard American Chinese food, it's usually fresh and hot (especially around regular meal times!). The dinner buffet is like $18.99, but a takeout box is $7+ a pound and very worth it! It's so simple, you grab a box, fill it up, take it to the register to get it weighed and to pay! They have all of your standard things and sushi that's pretty good too. The ambiance is pretty typical and the bathrooms aren't great, but the service is good.

Got take out from the buffet. It's what you expect. Good rice. Butter shrimp slaps. General Tsos chicken was too sweet but moist. Didn't try the sushi but good variety. One full togo box was about 13 bucks. I'll be going back for sure.

What a pleasant buffet to find during our stay here in Minnesota. This is located inside of a plaza and looks a small at first but once you enter the doors, the restaurant itself is pretty big. It is owned by Chinese people, and upon entrance we were warmly greeted you need to pay at the counter first and I believe it's $18 for adults and $8 for kids for a weekday dinner. This is relatively cheap and I was initially worried about the quality and the variety of food they serve but after we sat down and went to get our plates, we quickly found out that they not only offer some traditional American dishes, but also have fruits, appetizers, soup, ice cream, seafood, etc. A server will come by and offer you drinks, and to take away plates. They were all very nice and often have interesting conversations with us. I really love the crawfish quality that was here. It was amazing I had to entire plates of crawfish on top of other plates I had already completed I would say that their desserts were not up to standard and tasted bad except the ice cream. Overall, I definitely recommend anyone in the area, craving some cheap Chinese food to come here and try out their buffet.
