My cat's fat butt broke my vintage frames and I was devastated. Vic (?) was so nice and got my frames soldered (which was so clean) and even painted the solder to match the frame.

Service: Amazing

Quality of repair: Outstanding

Cost: It doesn't matter, No one else is around to fix my vintage frame.

Workmanship: Solder was clean and painted to match frame, not left silver.

Malarkey award: Goes to Alex W. below.

High Point: Getting my glasses fixed

Workmanship: Messy superglue that we ended up waiting almost 3 hours for it to dry. Had we known we could have done the work ourselves for much less time and money.

Absolute low point: After being handed a load of BS about why the glasses were not repaired properly the woman behind the counter held onto the glasses by the lens, thereby smearing her fingerprints all over, and then just handed the glasses back without bothering to clean off her fingerprints.

Would I go there again: NEVER

I made it a point to make sure I came on here to leave a review for the awesome people at this establishment. Over The weekend one of my kids bent their frames and there was a panick, but I called and even during the sketchy weather we had they were open and fixed my kids' frames in no time. I have also brought my moms glasses here countless times and they always always are so kind even though its the same fix every time. thank you again.

My local Dr's office recommended Asterix Eyewear for glass frame repairs, so I went over and was surprised by the customer service and attention to detail by the gentleman working there. He took a look at two pair of the glasses I needed repairs on and he was like, no problem, I can take care of this now. I must have waited 10 mins tops and he was done. The price was excellent and now I know where to take all my glass frames when I accidentally sit on them again ! Thank you Asterix

All & All - Getting there takes some maneuvering due to the small side street they're on, but other than that, their great customer service and the expertise at all things glasses and frames is well worth it.

After speaking with the manager I was entirely satisfied with my business experience here and recommend Asterix to others who need their services.

They were super nice and able to adjust some plastic frame prescription sunglasses for our family (bending the bridge to bring the arms closer and tightening some loose screws).

This place saved me hundreds of dollars on fixing my daughter's broken frames. Recommend highly.

Place is an absolute hidden gem and the only place I'll go to in the future for repairs or buying new glasses. When I came in, I spoke with the owner and it's been around for over 20 years and you can tell -- their selection is huge, they have (at least) two full time technicians for adjustments and repairs. Prices are a great value compared to what I've seen from other stores. There's really no reason for me to go anywhere else moving forward. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately I would never go back. In a span of 4 months I was charged $120 and had to go back 3 times to ask them to repair them correctly. They were so tight they didn't close properly and I could barely fit them in a case. Sharp edges were also left on the temples.

In the end, they still aren't really wearable and I ended up just getting new glasses.

They guys working there are great and are really trying. I heard their shop in Beaverton does a much better job.
