Food was amazing credit to our chef Michael
The cooking was great even though it took a little long for the chef to come out. Drinks came out quick and bartenders check on us every few minutes to make sure we are good and drink refillsHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Gamaliel D.San Jose, États-Unis01129 mars 2024
The best cook in the game, is definitely Michael Alvarez, great tasty food, and the best show.

Excellent food, service, and ambiance. My husband and I have been to Benihana's all over the U.S. and Japan. On our travel to the bay area we went to dinner at Benihana in Cupertino, California. In other Benihana's we are typically taken to be seated with the instructions to not touch the grill.
To our surprise the manager, Becky, seated us. She instructed us on the grill, the menu, and told us that she wanted our dinner to be an experience, make memories. We appreciated her attentiveness to our table. She genuinely spoke from her heart. She did this with every table.
We appreciated the personal touch, even though we've been to so many Benihana's. We will take this experience back to Oregon with us.
We're hoping to get Heli as our chef next time. He remembered us, even though we haven't been there in years!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Bobby M.Sunnyvale, États-Unis012320 avr. 2024
Our Chef/Entertainer/Comedian/Host was named Robert and he is a towering lad with a knack for connecting to both the adults and the younger generation.
Robert learned how to cook from the extensive training received from his time spent at Benihana, as well as growing up and picking up essential techniques from his Nana. Robert has excellent knife skills and our food was amazing!! Cooked beyond our expectations with attention to everyone's pallet.
I was born and raised in the area and have been frequenting this location for 50+ years. The restaurant is comfortable for a large party or a dinner for two. There is a spacious bar area as well to cozy up for pregaming.
Over the years I have had the privilege to experience many chefs at Benihana, and many were memorable. However, Robert took it to another level with his combined charisma and culinary skill.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 15 avr. 2024
I forget that Benihana is a great place to celebrate a special occasion with a small group. We came to celebrate 2 Birthdays in the family with a party of 11... we filled one teppanyaki table (8 persons max per table) and part of the next table. So much of the experience depends on a great and skilled chef. We were lucky enough to have Chef Michael (aka #versaci_hibachi) who was awesome at cooking up good food with the quintessential teppanyaki show to boot. The main teppanyaki menu is set up for people to order mains or recommended combinations of mains in a set meal format including soup, salad, shrimp appetizer, side grilled veggies, steamed rice and ice cream. You can upgrade the plain white rice to Fried Rice for a small upgrade charge.
I ordered a seafood combo which came with Scallops, Large Shrimp & Lobster and my spouse ordered a Benihana Trio with Filet Mignon, Large Shrimp & Chicken. We both upgraded to the Fried Rice.
The scallops were nice and juicy and perfectly seared. Shrimp and Lobster were fresh, nice and tasty. Filet was tasty and tender. Chicken was good. The garlic butter used with every main really made everything taste better. Fried Rice was a popular upgrade.
Overall, food is good and plentiful, but by far the most memorable and entertaining part of the dinner was Chef Michael's skillful juggling of the cooking utensils, targeted tossing of food, and fire tricks... outstanding! Also appreciated the efficient and attentive service by JD. Thank you for a fun dinner.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 29 mars 20241 check-in
Great hibachi experience with delicious food, good ambience, and great service.
It is always a fun time eating at these types of places because you get a show and food. The fire is always the coolest part, then you know you're eating a freshly made meal right in front of you.
The chef is really cool and funny. They make it entertaining and do neat tricks. My waitress Monalisa was very attentive and quick with any request. She went above and beyond to ensure our table was comfortable.
Overall it's a fun food place to eat some hibachi.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 26 févr. 20241 check-in
We have been coming here for over a decade! We usually come and celebrate our birthdays here.
The service is always friendly. Though, yes, there are times when they are super busy and don't come back for a while. Tonight, we had our server, Alex, and cook, Salvatore, and both were nice, friendly, and had showmanship.
The ambiance is nice and lively. Teppanyaki style where the chef cooks at your table on a flat top.
5 course meal: Steak or Chicken
*Benihana Onion Soup - simple dashi broth with chopped green onions, sliced mushrooms, and non-crispy fried onions. A palette cleansing soup.
*Benihana Salad - simple iceberg lettuce, julienned red cabbage, cherry tomato with a ginger dressing.
*Hibachi Shrimp Appetizer - flavored and cooked with garlic butter and a squeeze of lemon juice.
*Hibachi Vegetables (zucchini and yellow onions) - seasoned with salt and pepper with garlic butter.
*Homemade Dipping Sauces (a mustard and a ginger)
*Steamed Rice
*Japanese Hot Green Tea
Filet Mignon: tenderloin and mushrooms lightly seasoned and grilled to perfection.
Hibachi Chateaubriand: 8.5oz of center cut tenderloin and mushrooms lightly seasoned.
It's a fun time. But, it's a long dinner! Expect to dine about 2+hrs.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Information sur le responsable du commerce

Mmmm! Came here with my dad on Wednesday night, loved it!
They have been pretty consistent past few years. Our chef was Heli and he is awesome!!! Didn't add too much salt or butter but still tasty and perfect! He also wasn't that obnoxious by hitting the utensils on the stove or anything. We had all adults at our table so that was appreciated. Still did neat tricks but no banging.
Food quantity was awesome too! I got the deluxe treat but didn't want the calamari and they gave me more shrimp. We can't wait to come back! Hope Heli gets recognition from management.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Information sur le responsable du commerce

We both ordered the land 'n sea. I specifically requested no sesame seeds on any of my food and they made mine on the opposite side. The amount of food and quality truly was great! I ate this meal for lunch and dinner the next day too. I wanted my steak medium and it was perfectly cooked medium. I wish I wrote down the chefs name... darn! He was so funny and kept asking everyone if they needed anything like more garlic butter, lemon, etc. Benihana really stepped it up since last time I was there in person.4 mars 2021Avis précédentI've eaten inside this Benihana several times over the course of 10+ years. Benihana is amazing when you eat inside!
I really missed Benihana since Covid has started (and not yet gone) so I decided to DoorDash Benihana. I've ordered 2 times in the past year via DoorDash.
I'll tell ya... it's definitely not the same. When you're in the restaurant you get the shrimp appetizer-- you do not get that when you order to go. You'll also miss out on the portion size and the butter/taste. There was hardly any flavor on anything. I think they should include a little side of the garlic butter with every order. My rice was terribly dry. What's even worse is the prices aren't even cheaper for taking out-- and no one cooks in front of you.
I gave it two chances for take out/delivery. I'll just wait until they open indoors again. - 4231702921 févr. 2024
Ugh I love teppanyaki and I love Benihana but sometimes the service can just ruin the vibe :/
I went to this Benihana location to celebrate my birthday with my friends and made a reservation at 7:30 on a Saturday night. We waited AN HOUR even with a reservation.
I think this Benihana is not organized, and their reservation system is really bad.
Other than that , the food was really good and our chef Mario was super nice. He didn't really put on a show for us though...
Not sure if I'd come back to this location unfortunately.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Information sur le responsable du commerce
