Hello, has anyone attended a concert in the new wine garden tent? Wondering how much difference there is between the Premier Stage Tables of 4 vs. a 2 seat "general admission" table?
A:
Yes, The Premier Tables are the first three rows of tables. All the rest are "general admission". If you get there early you can still get good seats towards the front with a general admission ticket. The tent is about two are three times longer… more

I have been a frequent guest at CW shows in Nashville for nearly a decade. It is truly one of the best venues to see my favorite acts. I like that the intimate seating can put you close to the performers.
Last week I brought my wife and son to see a show on Thursday, but they could not find my name! The performer was performing two nights and it became clear I had a senior moment and put it into my concert notes for the WRONG night! (they don't issue printed tickets, just seat you by name)
My son was disappointed because he had to work Friday night and would miss seeing this performer. Enter concierge Kat who quickly addressed the situation. She found 3 seats together roughly the same distance from the stage, just a couple tables to the left. Kat saved the day! Nice venue to gather with friends & have some good wines & catch a show! They let you sample wine when you walk in the door & you can buy a bottle (or 2 ) along with food at your table. I did not have any food but did try some wine. It was good!
The atmosphere is dark & swanky. Be prepared it is a listening venue so they discourage talking during performances ( so probably not a good place for chatty Cathys or loud talkers ).
Overall, City Winery is a great experience! I cannot wait to go back soon!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Information sur le responsable du commerce

Great spot! I love how they had a wine tasting as soon as I walked in, I got to samples one white and one red. It was pretty quiet when I came in, which is fine by me! I loved their menu and now they give wine pairing suggestions with the foods. The bartender was super nice! I went with the Zinfandel with the duck tacos. The tacos were okay - a little dry to me, but I added some sauce and that did the trick! The Zinfandel was okay, little jammy for my liking! I switched to the Riesling and that worked better for me. Nice ambiance - a lot of people were there because it's connected to a convention center - looks like they get some amazing acts! I had a very pleasant dinner!

The venue as usual was beautiful. Parking was great and easy. The singer was AMAZING. THE Chante Moore sang her face off!! She looked beautiful too. The service was impeccable. There was a ticket mess up and the staff readily accommodated us and gave us complimentary wine so that was great too. I love this place and can't wait for the next event !

Consider going for a show, but dine somewhere else.
I don't normally write poor reviews based on staff, but I've been to City Winery twice (1 dinner, 1 show) and experienced bad enough service on both occasions that I wanted to warn others.
Nashville is busy, and a lot of places haven't been able to keep up with staffing or processes to support the new normal. It's part of living in a growing city, and while it's not always convenient, the energy and atmosphere typically make up for it.
This place is something different -- not busy enough compensate with the buzz of excitement and not quality enough to believe it's an excessive attention to detail. It feels (and tastes) like utter indifference.
Last time I was there, I actually had a server who seemed to refuse to talk to my girlfriend and me. He served us, but after several interactions, I actually think he was giving us the silent treatment. I thought he might not be a talker, but he seemed happy to engage with other tables. I've never seen anything like it.
That was on top of other servers that didn't know the menu, forgot items, and couldn't be bothered to refill drinks.
This place has potential and might be fine for weddings and events, but it feels like they are only begrudgingly an active restaurant. If there's a show you can only see there, it may be worth going, but it's worth strongly considering a backup show to avoid leaving your experience in their hands.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Information sur le responsable du commerce

Now, you are not going to have the experience I had. Sorry, you just are not. We were in attendance at a private Elle King show and sat down from row, dead center, maybe 20 from the singer herself. There was also an open-ish bar and 2 stations with sliders and other munchies before the show. As I said, you are not getting the same experience that I had.
And it was amazing. Just simply WOW!. Thank you Harley Davidson for putting it on and City Winery for hosting this amazing event.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Information sur le responsable du commerce

This was our first visit to City Winery and we came here for a show last week. Parking was surprisingly expensive compared with other places in Nashville, but parking was plentiful. We started our meal out with some cocktails and these were pretty good for a decent price. Our server was also excellent and he did a great job throughout dinner (the service overall was good for everyone around as well and we enjoyed that you can turn a light on and off whenever you need anything during the show). The food was a bit of a letdown though and our steak was chewy and not very appetizing. The wine as well was just decent and you would expect that the wine would be better given that it's a winery (the cocktails were definitely better than the wine). I'd say our experience here was just okay and we wouldn't come back unless there was a show here that we really wanted to see.

City Winery has a nice array of food and shows! I have really enjoyed going to this beautiful venue. I only give three stars due to parking and food service. Upon ordering 30 min prior to the show, my table was missing one coffee and one sweet tea. 30 min into the show the waitress says she is making more tea. 45 min into the show she says she didn't get around to making the tea and brought a lukewarm, half filled cup of coffee. This venue also has very limited free parking that is not suitable for large vehicles.

We walked in with high hopes for a great night. One of our favorite acts in a small venue.
Service was tragic. We had to go find the server four times including the very first time. The food came without plates for sharing. The beer was served lukewarm. We ordered wagyu sliders and raspberry-chipotle wings. Sliders were bland and greasy. We found no raspberry, and little chipotle flavor to our undercooked, slimy wings. The crème brûlée was good. We wanted to try lamb meatballs but they were out. Overall, it seems poorly managed. We never could figure out who, if anyone, was in charge. No one was walking around checking on guests.
If we ever go back for a show, we'll eat before we arrive and stick to drinking water.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0Information sur le responsable du commerce

This was my very first time visiting The City Winery and I had an amazing time! The staff was absolutely amazing, my concert seating was outstanding and the wine was near perfection. I will definitely keep my eyes on the lookout for more concerts here! The only thing I would change is, I wish the lights were a tiny bit brighter, so I could read the menu better... but I still get my visit a
