Club Wyndham Grand Desert

Beautiful rooms w/full kitchen! Nicely decorated, extremely clean & comfortable beds! Felt very safe and was pretty quiet. Great customer service, they brought us toothbrushes & toothpaste when asked for them. Definitely recommend!

Just off the main strip club Wyndham has great amenities and daily activities. Spent mornings at the pool. Separate kids and adult pool which I was thankful for. Lifeguards on duty watched over all of us having too much fun. Everyone appreciated their presence. There's plenty of lounge chairs. Pool bar guys and cafe servers were awesome. The cafe serves breakfast and lunch alongside Starbucks.

If you have the vip wristband you can get the extra discounts when making purchases. The wristbands are also your keyless entry for pool gates, building entry and room key.

Standard room has a kitchenette with table for 4 sleeper couch, with separate bedroom. Two TVs, lots of dresser space and large closets. The bathroom was a little on the quaint side maybe in the future these could be remodeled. Was a little lacking. I think the rooms could use an update overall. Some carpet cleaning and new furniture. Just personal preference. On the first night we had to get the sink plunged. It wasn't draining properly but maintenance crew here is awesome! We had a few requests during our weeklong stay and they came promptly and worked efficiently.

Overall great service. No loud neighbors or ruckus. Large separate towers so underground parking can get a little confusing or become a hike. But the bellmen come to the rescue if you call for their assistance in the lobby.

The staffs at front lobby were all super nice. We were handed wristbands in addition to our room key for the ease of accessing everything they offer. I think it's awesome that they have activities planned out for the whole week! It would be great staying at this resort if you're planning to relax at on their premise for a good amount of time (vs going out/exploring the strip).

Location wise, it's really not that close to walk to the strip (especially if you're tired from walking all day)...unless you wanted to go to MGM. We got rideshare for most of our trips. Their shuttle is very inconvenient. I'm almost thinking it's non-existing. I'm a planner, and I make sure I know what to expect/logistics of the shuttle hours and locations....however, on the one night that I planned to take the shuttle back to the hotel (from Horseshoe), it did not deliver. We were told to go to the arcade entrance (you'll be able to see food court there). We got there - thinking that we got perfect timing since we see the white AWG shuttle (as described by the flyer & matching the shuttle I saw from the resort in the morning)....only to be disappointed because the shuttle never stopped by the "arcade" entrance. It exited out of the driveway before even entering the loop for the arcade entrance. Naturally, we were confused, and we thought we were in the wrong area...so we backtracked via walking along the sidewalk to see where the shuttle came from. It seemed to have came from the rideshare entrance. So I called the front desk to verify again...but they confirmed that it would be the arcade entrance and not the rideshare area. Either there's another shuttle that looks like the described Wyndham shuttle, or the shuttle driver did not have the same instruction as the resort staff. Regardless, my friends and I do not have another 30-40 min to waste to test out our hypothesis.

There were 3 of us sharing the suite, and since our room was 500-600 sq ft, it was really cramped once you pull out the sofa bed in the living room. They also don't include any extra blankets in the closet like other resorts do. I called at 1am for extra blankets, and since they were short staffed, I was told to wait. Never expected that wait to be more than an hour long though....I ended up calling them at 2am to have them come next morning by 9am. They did not show up by 9am. The blankets were delivered around 9:30 instead. This made me hesitant to call and ask for additional amenities like more shampoos and conditioners. I just bought my own.

Their pillows are very comfy though!!! Fitness center was pretty nice as well.

Located just a few blocks off the strip. Convenient location. Not too far to walk most of the strip.

Fragrance in the lobby as you walk in is very strong and I didn't care for it.

Staff is very pushy and sales driven. If you aren't saying anything they want to hear they blow you off. This happened on more than one occasion.

When attending a presentation here you will be bullied. If you refuse to purchase anything they will send in three or four more people to try to persuade you to fall into their schemes.

The pull out sofa bed had no bedding. And there were no washclothes in the unit. We had to call twice to get some brought to our room. Some of the dishes were not very clean.

The Tower Three pool is down for renovation so had to use pool and hot tubs at Tower One. They do have a lifeguard at the pool.

It was just okay here. There are better Wyndham/Worldmark properties, but this did the job.

I was looking for a decent 2-night get away somewhere. I must put to the forefront that i was pleasantly surprised by this property!

CHECK IN: Great! It was informative and friendly. I was able to check in early and have all my questions answered. Advised me of helpful things i didn't know about.

SUITE: The room was amazing, everything i needed from fully stocked cupboards to the in-unit washer and dryer. The details were paid attention to. Everything you could need for a potential long term stay was already in your unit. The unit itself was warm and inviting. Rather homelike to say the least. Only complaint was the refrigerator/freezer smelled disgusting like a fishy smell. Smelled even after they tried to clean it again for us.

POOLS: Adequate pools and hot tubs open LATE (Hot tubs 24hrs). Tiki bar at the Adult pool and free ice water. Grills are available which was also awesome. I enjoyed my time in the pool immensely.

ACTIVITIES: They had some cool activities like Trivia and wine. Cocktails etc. They have a game room where you can play video games or even rent out board games etc. to your suite. There is a small theater where they play films too.

They make it so you don't have to leave the property, but if you do the free shuttle to the strip helps.

I love the wristband fob like thing that opens the parking garage, activates the elevators and opens the room- So convenient rather than having to search for a room key.

They seemed to check all the boxes here- it feels like home and i cant wait to go back.

Been here multiple times. Always been fine at this resort!

The worst experience was maybe a clogged toilet once here. The thing is, most of the time we get the best rooms possible (2-3 bedroom deluxe) or presidential room

This trip the only thing broken was our room phones, 2 of them didn't work, but not a big deal.

Seems like they did some updating, painting and chanted the building paint color as well. Will continue to have family vacations here for years to come!

I am giving a 4 start review because our bathroom was not cleaned thoroughly. I will say the staff was very nice and helpful and amenities on site made the stay easy. We have family that live in Las Vegas and they came to visit. Market on site had items to make breakfast. We took the kids to the recreation center where games and movies were available. I want to highlight that Erica (who was also pregnant) was so helpful and patient with not just our family's kids but all the kids. She was very knowledgeable about all the video games and was able to help all the kids. We ordered pizza from the cafe as a recommendation from her to dine there at the tables. We made a pizza party out of our time sharing with everyone and the kids left so happy. We will return again. Thanks!

This was probably one of my best stays in Vegas, I must say.

So I found this gem while looking for hotels to stay at for the 1st pre-season game at the Allegiant stadium.

I came across this hotel while looking at Airbnb. I went straight to their hotel website and got an even better price. I paid $424.00 for four days, three nights. And that included all the taxes and fees. I got a one-bedroom suite.

Check-in: check-in is at 4 pm, and they mean that. Check-in is located in Tower 2. We got to Vegas really early but had a couple of stops before checking in. We attempted to check in at around noon, which we were able to but we had to wait for a room to be available. They gave us a card to be able to access the facility until our room was ready. They also gave us our bracelets to be able to ride their free shuttle, and we also got our parking pass. We didn't know how long the room wait was gonna be, so we decided to utilize their shuttle. We went back to the hotel. Unfortunately, our room was still not ready. I got charged the tax when I checked in, and this really confused me, given I thought I already paid for the whole entire thing when I booked the room. They initially charged me the whole thing but refunded the taxes afterward, so I ended up paying the taxes at the hotel.

***This particular hotel is a time-share hotel. Folks in the lobby were waiting to talk to you about their time-share opportunities. Some people were okay with it, but some folks got annoyed. So just keep in mind that you might have to deal with this.***

Shuttle service (5/5)- shuttle arrives every 30-40 minutes. Honestly, I didn't even feel like we ever waited that long to get on the shuttle. The shuttle drops you off at the Paris Hotel, which is next to the CVS pharmacy. Pls pls pls tip your shuttle driver. Right now, it is such a nightmare driving around Vegas due to the Formula 1 construction, which Wyndham is in the middle of. We used the shuttle back and forth, and it was so worth it and convenient. Trust me, you do not want to walk the strip in the middle of the afternoon. Shuttle service ends at about 9:30 PM.

1-Bedroom Suite (3/5)- We finally got our room at 3:30 PM. Our room was located in Tower 3, and we stayed in room 1386. When we got to our floor, there was a full garbage bag filled with dirty linens and towels outside of our room. When we got inside, everything was clean, no big issues. Our view was facing a bunch of run-down/abandoned apartments. Although at night, you can see a nice view of the MGM Grand and Top Golf. Now on our second day, our bathroom started smelling like a sewer, and it pretty much stayed that way until we checked out. They also did not have face towels which were odd. The room was equipped with a large closet next to the bathroom as well as an on-suite laundry room. They have plates, utensils, and ice in the refrigerator. We had a TV in our bedroom and the living room. TV had a lot of good channels. The bed was really comfortable and very cozy. They have ceiling fans in both the kitchen and bedroom. All in all, the room was very spacious and clean.

Amenities:
***FREE PARKING*** There's so much parking available. Tower 3 is outdoor parking, but I believe Tower 1 and Tower 2 have underground parking available.
*On-site cafe in Tower 2, as well as Starbucks
*They have three different swimming pools. There are two swimming pools in between Tower 1 and Tower 2. There is a family pool and an adult pool that serves alcohol and has a DJ. The swimming pool at Tower 2 closes at 9 pm. The pool in Tower 3 is small but is 24 hours. You get towel cards for the pool. You have access to the other pools even if you're staying in Tower 3.

There's no room service, and their main way to contact you is through text which was very convenient.

What I would recommend the most is to bring your stuff, meaning go grocery shopping. Buy your water and whatever food you want to eat or cook. Delivery is also available.

This was honestly a perfect location for us. I don't like being on the strip cause I don't like being in the middle of everything. It's about a 10-minute walk to get to the strip from the hotel, which I personally did not mind. Also, you're literally a 5-minute walk to TopGolf.

Security (5/5)- Security was definitely on-point. They were literally everywhere. They were all walking around checking buildings and parking lots. Despite the hotel being next to a run-down apartment complex, I actually felt very safe. They looked very professional as well. So kudos to the security team as well.

Check-out (5/5)- Original check-out time is 10 AM which is really early. We did ask for a late check out which then became 11 AM. Check-out was very quick. All we did was text the number that we'd checked out, and they sent us our invoice and just left our cards in the room, and we were good.

I love this hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful resort with top-notch staff!

Enjoyed the daytime pool party during EDC weekend, and had an absolute blast!

The DJ, "SOL" kept everyone moving and the vibe at the pool was amazing!

Our bartender Jonathan was so friendly, helpful, and professional! He solidified our experience. Kudos to Jonathan and all the staff we interacted with at the resort. Thanks for making our stay, and especially that pool party a memorable time.

Didn't realize I was booking a whole suite so that was a nice surprise. The location is nice and close to the airport, and the strip, so Lyfts were nice and cheap. Didn't do much exploring or use the amenities because I was mostly there working, but it was a nice vibe. The pools had life guards which was nice. The on-premise mini-mart was really nice and came in handy a few times for snacks in a pinch. The cafe serving Starbucks was nice to have right there in the lobby. When I needed something, the staff was nice. Overall pretty solid.
