Crooked Creek Winery

I was visiting a friend who just recently relocated to this area and he recommended I take the time to check this Winery out. Turns out it was a great spot, we were welcomed by Shannon the owner. He took the time to walk us through all the wines as we sampled them. He took great pride in telling us all the backsyories of each wine and from which local farms the grapes came from. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, countryside atmosphere.

Mindy - I absolutely LOVE your place! So glad we finally got a chance to come visit, and I'm very glad you guys share your little piece of heaven with the public. It's gorgeous.

This place has what most wineries need - wines to suit everyone's tastes. Personally, I'm a dry red drinker, but I enjoyed almost every wine I tasted, including the sweet stuff. I was surprised to see they had a great tasting wine for those who prefer dry to the semi-sweets all the way to the sweet ones. That's an exceptional selection!

We arrived when the place was hopping with a couple big parties on buses, but heard Shannon giving a tasting later in the afternoon when there wasn't such a crowd. For those who love wine and are interested in the grapes and process, find the time to do a tasting with Shannon. I was a little sad I missed the story behind the wines when we did our tasting. Regardless, the scenery was incredible and the wines were fantastic. You gotta Love a place where they treat you like family, even on your first visit!

If you are looking for the perfect short distance road trip and time away from the everyday hustle and bustle or need a long overdue date with your loved one.... Crooked Creek Winery is the perfect place. Shannon and Mindy and their two children are a beautiful family. I have been a few times and to say the least Crooked Creek has met my expectations if not exceeded them every visit. I prefer a semi sweet and my husband on the dry side. They had selections that my husband and I both grew very fond of.

I'm from L.A. and I paid them a visit while visiting Saint Louis. Shannon, Mindy, and Jamie are excellent host. They know their wine and have a great wine selection include a good variety of sweet to dry wines. You can sit back and enjoy your wine with a beautiful view in their patio area while you watch their horses graze. It's a great place... If you're in the area you definitely should stop by!

My brother move to Centralia and each time I visit we try to do something fun. This winery was a great way to spend the day. Beautiful grounds with lots of horses. Super friendly staff and great prices. Yes you might not be able to compare to Napa wineries but what do you expect in the Midwest!? I love this place and will definitely come back and recommend others to visit. $6 for 6 tastings and a glass. They also have some frozen mixed wine drinks and beers for those who aren't winos.
