Simply the best. Of all the donut places you can go to there's no better spot than Five Daughters.
I've been to most of their locations and each time it's been consistently awesome.
That first bite always produces a smile on my face.

Employees were super nice, the line moves fast-ish depending on how indecisive people are.

The classic donuts were ok - honestly not sure I get the craze and it was very greasy.

The Quinn was the worst baked pastry I've ever eaten in my life. It was poorly baked, raw on the inside, not flakey, and like licking a salt shaker. It's supposed to be sweet and salty but it was so salty it burned my tongue and throat. I don't know if they replaced all the sugar with salt by accident or it was supposed to taste like that but it was literally painful

      FOOD

The donuts here are worth the hype, ordered gluten free and a maple donut.

      AMBIANCE

They were doing construction in the building, so all I could hear was the work being done while waiting in line. I couldn't talk to my partner or even hear myself think. I wish they would do this after hours and would have made my time much more enjoyable here.

To me this place was blah and overhyped . I was curious to try this place because it got pretty good yelp reviews and it pops up as a must try doughnut place in Nashville . Anyways I ordered the King Kong donut . The donut did look good at first glance . However when I bit into it was less than I desired . To me the donut was greasy and heavy and it wasn't that great . I also ordered an ice coffee and that was okay it wasn't the greatest .

Minimal, modern and trendy- oh and delicious donuts.

Small line, moved quickly. Several options to choose from.

Hubby choose a few flavors that he raved about, for me it was all about the King Kong (maple bacon). The croissant/doughnut hybrid are yummy!

I would def come back and get the same thing next time.

Come here. Period. The doughnuts are delicious. Lovely staff / cute place. Nowhere to sit inside, but tables are outside. Plan to take a bunch with you!

Five Daughters is a must when visiting Nashville. My tastebuds had a transcendental experience. The donuts are so fresh, fluffy and simply delicious. These paired well with my coffee from down the street. I enjoyed them in the quaint outdoor seating area (where they also have a kids play area and a to-go window).

Dropped off easily by Uber and drooling at the selections. Bring your sweet tooth and be prepared to be in awe. They have a few Gluten free options also. The location is precious and service is pretty quick. Almost always a line incase you hit it at the right time .
Either way, they do not disappoint!

Famous for their "100 Layer" donuts, which are their take on cronuts (croissant-donut hybrids), was skeptical until I tried it myself. Learned that their dough takes 4 days to rise before they fold it to create the 100 layers.

Great location and vibe with outdoor seating.

My favorite was the maple glaze and the purist, which is the most popular.

Great Donuts Now In The Gulch!

Five Daughters has long been at the top of the list of Nashville's Best Donuts. But now, we don't have to go to 12 South to get them.

The old Starbucks space has been filled by Five Daughters, offering their delicious donuts, cookies, and coffee.

The Vanilla Cream 100 Layer Donut is still my favorite. It combines the delicious 100 layer donut with the rich and sweet Vanilla Cream filling. If you're wondering what to try, try this one first.
