Fjällräven Portland

Another great brand that I swear by .This is a Swedish brand specialising in outdoor equipment--mostly upscale clothing and luggage . They are at par or even better than North face for certain things which is a very popular brand in the US.
Their most popular products are their KÅNKEN backpacks . They have a backpack for every occasion. Their extensive range has set them apart from other brands like Osprey from day packs to laptop bags, to trekking backpacks, and many more.
With the great looking products ,the prices are as expected on the higher end . The products however last a very long time and are perfect for Northwest as well as bitter cold weather areas too . By being part of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition and the Fair Labor Association, Fjällräven is doing its bit for the environment as well

Outstanding customer service! The tailoring and alteration work that Luis does on the Fjällräven pants is out if this world. He added 2" to my pants, they waxed them and took them in in the waist. Outstanding craftspersonship!!!

Great selection of "technical" active wear. I purchased a pair Vidda Pro Ventilated pants. $165 for a pair of pants seemed steep. However, the price includes hemming the pants to the perfect length. I also found out today that Fjall Raven has a lifetime warranty on all their products.

The pants were hemmed in a couple of days as promised.

The staff was very knowledgeable. Service was fast, friendly and efficient.

So this is the second stop when I landed in Portland. I went to the outlet store before I went here. Both stores has different vibes. But I feel like this store has more newer versions of the backpacks than the outlet store.

I found my backpack that I found on the iPad and they have it! If they don't have it, you can always ship to home for free also. I found this backpack like 3 - 4 years ago when I saw this girl wore it and she got it in Japan. So when Fjällräven expanded I guess they made more colors and different materials of backpacks. My backpack color is Deep Forest. But what closer to deep forest is olive too. All the backpacks are cute and the wallets are super cute too. ($35.00) it's a decent price for a kanken wallet! I got it in Plum.

I passed by this store and went right on in. I was welcomed by a cup of fresh hot coffee while I shopped.
The customer service in store was excellent and super friendly, and was walked through a variety of their products and functionality. Happy to have stopped by, and then I went to their outlet store down the street too

Cute, small store with nice merchandise. The two employees working did not acknowledge us. For the high prices you expect friendlier service or a hello.

The folks here offer excellent support, and the Store Manager is very accommodating. I've brought in several items for complimentary tailoring since I don't have a typical Scandinavian build. Always super helpful in making sure my items come back to me in better shape than I sent them. There was a fluke with poor stitching on some pants I brought in, and they arranged a new pair to be tailored and sent directly to me to make things right. Cannot recommend this brand or store location enough! I'm slowly getting all my friends on board with this store! The prices may seem expensive upfront, but for a lifetime of use and excellent support, there's no better deal. :)

Cool little store - loved the quality of the gear and clothing, just wish they offered more selections for women's wear (colors, style).

I wanted a kanken bag to take to work, but then I was drawn to their larger bags on the wall. WOW the prices on their bags were amazing. Ended up getting a really cool bag, that they shipped to my house Love the quality and the lovely people who work there. They are friendly and go out of their way to be helpful I will of course come again.
