I love Liz ,this beautiful owner who goes above and beyond to make all the delicious sandwiches and desserts from scratch !
This is a very cute and special local diner near by the Cal tech / PCC district in Pasadena .
They offer all types of special tea selections you can hand picked yourself . I really liked the home made cookies , apple pies and most delicious varieties of sandwiches I've ever tasted .
They do take customized orders for birthday cakes and other of their specialty items on the menu ! Everything are home made and give you that home made TLC from their kitchen !
I love this easy going vibe this comer has to offer !
Services is fast , friendly and efficient ! Five stars all the way !they treat their customers like family and it is genuinely a very special feeling dining with themHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Angela H.Pasadena, États-Unis19 févr. 2025
Love Ginger, true neighborhood feel, food is always good and service is genuine. Nice market with the deli, been going since the kids were little and it's the the same good food, good ingredients, good ambiance, and good people. We like sitting outside or across the street at the park if there is no seating. A real sense of community there and always good to come back!

Stopped by this cute market/cafe today and enjoyed a delicious 1/2 caprese sandwich with a 1/2 arugula pesto white bean salad. Others in the group ordered a turkey w/apple sandwich, roasted mushroom grilled cheese & tuna sandwich - all with rave reviews. The fresh baked cookies (chocolate chip & raisin cranberry) were delish as well. I also recommend the lavender rose iced latte; so good! The staff was very friendly and also told us about their Sunday BBQ - will definitely come back for that. The market is in a cute walkable neighborhood, across from Grant Park.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. It's nestled into a quiet little neighborhood in Pasadena and it's like something out of a movie. Very cute and rustic, very much homemade and handmade. It's got plenty of outdoor and indoor seating and it's right across the street from a park. People come in and out of the shop all greeting the people behind the counter by name. It smells absolutely incredible in the little cafe, smells like bread and coffee and barbecue. The prices are pretty low, considering the area. They carry a lot of organic products, all food is made in store, lots of little artisanal things to shop for.
But the food! We ordered the beet salad and the ham and Brie sandwich and both were just so so good. Shared the two between me and my partner and we both felt full after. All the flavor pairings were perfect and complimented each other, ham and Brie sandwich was tangy because of the cheese but had a layer of fig jam spread on and it was heaven. Everything tasted fresh. All baked goods are baked in store and they look it. Would definitely come back and I'd like to try everything! Recommend highly.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - 12 oct. 2023
Met Fellow Yelper Jessica :))))) at Ginger Corner Market. What a fun day! She recommended this place. Walkable distance from the Lake Shops Parking Lot.
It is a nice neighborhood coffee and bites cafe that doubles as a trinket/beverage shop.
Service was friendly and there was a lunch rush after we placed our order and sat down. There is self service water and also Squirrel Air Fresheners!
Ordered the BLT Sandwich 5/5. The sweet Bacon was delicious and sandwich was large. Took half to go. Ate it the next day and the sandwich was still fresh.
Chocolate chip cookie 4/5. Great place to sit down and catch up.Helpful 10Thanks 1Love this 9Oh no 0 - Johnny N.Garden Grove, États-Unis19 févr. 2024
I was in the area for work and a coworker actually recommended this place to me! It seems to be one of those trusty college delis that suddenly appeared one day and permanently becomes student lore.
Inside, I found a quant mini-market stocked with a bunch of snacks, drinks, and the counter for ordering. The worker (i forgot his name!) helped us immediately, and I ordered the pastrami. I sat outside, where there were plenty of tables with shade!
The worker brought out the sandwich to us, and I thought it was huge! The price seemed a bit high for ne, but that wasn't too big of a concern since the sandwich was jam packed with meat and kraut. The flavor wasn't too salty for me, and had the right amount of flavor with the bread. This was a great spot, and I'll have to stop by again.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - 12 août 2023
Really cute, tasty, and quaint place!!
Family owned and they are very friendly.
My second time coming here and this time we biked (there is street parking and some poles around you can chain your bike to. But there isn't really bike parking like it says).
It's so hard to choose which pastry to eat cause there is a WEALTH of delicious baked goods staring back at you begging you to choose it!! We went with the lemon bar and it was delicious! Had great crust and a lot of custard.
I also wandered around their store section and found the funniest and cutest squirrel air freshener! They have some cute cards and unique items there (like army soldier toys doing diff poses).
There is plenty of seating inside and even seating outside. The decorations are so cute!
We tried the watermelon lemonade and it was kinda bland. My husband tried the orange blossom tea on his last visit and said it was also bland. So their strong suit aren't the drinks but the food and pastries are amazing!!
We got the crispy chicken sandwich and the flavor was SO GOOD!! The bread was soft and buttery leaving your mouth watering!!
The chia pudding was kinda dry but had a good texture to it. They give plenty of granola inside so that was nice.
Overall, I highly recommend coming here for a visit!! It is right across from a park as well. It's a very peaceful place.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nirmal L.Ontario, États-Unis12 sept. 2024
This is a hidden gem. When I found this place, I've come here for lunch almost everyday when I'm
In the office.
They have good options for both lunch and breakfast. I see a lot of people from Caltech here.
Everything on the menu is very good, and it looks like the business is locally run.
If you cannot stand the lines and wait time for the places on Lake Ave, this place is a great alternative. Their sandwiches are huge and grilled so you it's like two meals.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Alexandra K.Alhambra, États-Unis18 déc. 2024
I've been here a few times and what has brought me to yelp tonight is their chocolate bread pudding. Delicious - I don't say this lightly! I don't typically enjoy bread pudding but this has rocked my world. Thank you.

This place has so many good vibes. I know I'm guilty of spending too much of my money in soulless chain restaurants, I wish I spent more time in businesses like Ginger instead. The staff seemed genuinely happy to be working here! My sandwich was delicious, as was the orange spice ice tea. They also sell party supplies, which I probably won't buy but are fun to look at while you enjoy your lunch.
I'll be back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
