Got dance? apparel & active wear (formerly known as Marx Activewear) is now open under new ownership. They carry everything you need for dance. They carry all types of dance shoes, leotards, tights, bags, accessories and much more. Both of my daughers were fit for new ballet shoes. Teri, the owner is a sweetheart and we were out of there very quickly with new dance shoes.
She has completely re-done the store and even added a 3 chair hair salon.

My husband and I were impressed with the attention we received at the store. There were a few customers ahead of us waiting to be sized for shoes but the lady working did a great job in keeping in touch with us and not letting any one feel unattended. She was able to help us properly size my daughter for her first ballet shoes. Thank you and we will be back! (:

I originally went to this store last fall and bought shoes for my daughter. I went back a few weeks ago to get some jazz shoes. My daughter also needed tap shoes but I was hesitant since I wasn't sure of the style. I was told i could bring them back. Unfortunately I lost the reciept and now they will not help me. I should have stuck to my instincts and waited. I was NOT asking for money back, I was looking to exchange for more expensive shoes (and of course paying the difference). I chose them to support small buisiness and was expecting personal service. I am now, stuck with a brand new pair of tap shoes that I can't use. They lost a repeat customer by being inflexible, not to mention other parents in the studio I would not recommend.
