After a 1/2 day of Beatles immersion in Liverpool at the docks , we top it off with a shared pizza and a Caesar salad.
A nice wine and a brew.
Great ambience and our server was a Italian delight.
The Pizza was the 3 meat but there were others. The crust was super.
We would def come again. - Joe S.Los Angeles, États-Unis279342024 mai 2022
Pretty good truffle pizza. Had the rigatoni arrabiata chicken. Not too bad. Tried some filet, that was ok. Strawberry cream ice cream was great.

Very Rude Manager, No Customer Service at all !
If i can give a zero star .
They wanted us to wait another 15 minutes on top of our scheduled reservations but the real problem is the way he communicates with attitude instead of being kind.
Do not patronize ! Very very poor customer service!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hande J.Houston, États-Unis3226216011 mars 2020
Food was very good. This is a great place for a date night. Gorgeous views, attentive service... Tried one of their gin cocktails and it didn't disappoint. They had a special menu for two courses priced at £17 or so. I chose calamari as my starter. It was one of the best calamaris I ever had, crispy and not overcooked. I'd like a little more zest in their calamari dip but overall it was great. I had the chicken dish (it was the only chicken dish) for my main. The croquettes which came with my chicken were extremely salty for some reason. One of my friends tried the lasagna and it was gone very quickly. Definitely a good spot to grab food when you're in the area.

I'll be honest...I thought this place would be a tourist trap. Very happy to admit that I was wrong. I came here on a Sunday (Mother's Day), and despite the large crowd, the service was great and the food came out promptly.
I had the tiger prawn appetizer which was delicious (almost like a tomato bisque soup with lots of shrimp/prawns). It also came with some toast points which were perfect for dipping. I had the mushroom risotto w/pancetta for my entree and it was excellent. My only (minor) complaint is that I would've like more mushrooms. There was so much pancetta (and I'm not a big meat eater) so I would've traded some for more mushrooms. All in all I would order both dishes again, and I'll definitely be coming back here to eat again!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Anthony S.Liverpool, Royaume-Uni553849826 juin 2010
I recently worked with a guy who would not stop going on about this place. He talked about it so much and suggested it to clients so often I suspected that he must have shares in the place. The fact that he was a tit meant that I came here with a pretty biased point of view but one that was quickly dismissed.
A little cheaper than I was expecting, Gusto nonetheless offers a good selection of Italian/Mediterranean influenced food. The pizzas are very good value at the same prices as you would pay for a dominoes but for that real, stone bake quality with much fresher toppings.
It's a classy joint too with a simple decor that makes it feel like a posh dining experience, without costing a fortune.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jemma P.Largs, Royaume-Uni1030328025 juin 2010
Gusto is a great Italian restaurant on the dock, ideal for a cosy meal for two, or a family evening out. It's the place I go if I fancy something nice but not ridiculously priced. It is usually very popular so I'd always advise booking in advance, but if you do pop in and have to wait, the Pumphouse pub is seconds away.
I like the fact that even though it is very busy, the staff aren't rushing you out of your seat, they always welcome you to take your time and enjoy the atmosphere.
The food is delicious, I'd recommend the pasta with salmon and vegetables and the espresso and amaretto ice cream. The prices are really decent, the bill for two of us plus two drinks each was only about £40.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Liam M.Liverpool, Royaume-Uni565954717 juill. 2010
Gusto is an Italian restaurant with more class than most if I'm honest which is mainly down to its great location which builds a fantastic ambience.
The location within the docks is great and although the prices are bumped up here it is well worth the money you may spend. This is the kind of restaurant you would visit for an important occasion such as a Birthday and I guarantee it would be a treat for all.
As with all of the dock area this place is very aesthetically pleasing and has extremely nice decor inside. This is such a relaxing restaurant you can while away the night and feel completely at ease.
The staff are fantastic and they demand from each other that the standards are high from one another which results in exceptional service for the customer.
On the whole a great classy restaurant which is well worth a visit.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lydia B.Hampton in Arden, Royaume-Uni1142292788 juin 2013
Situated close by to St. Alberts Dock and undecided what cuisine I fancied eating on a Saturday night we plumped for this place.
We hadn't booked and although the place was buzzing, we were seated at a table straight away.
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the decor is stylish.
The waitress who served us was lovely and friendly, and engaged us in conversation about our weekend visit to Liverpool. Anyway back to the food!
The food arrived in good time, with the pizza I had ordered being crispy and packed full of toppings - yummy! The mojitos went down rather well too not too much mint in them.
This is a great restaurant for couples and large groups, with the restaurant being dimly lit giving it that sophisticated feel.
You are able to glance over at the chefs at work in the kitchen too, which all adds to the dining experience.
A fab restaurant that impressed me with its food and customer service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
