Q:
Are the churros celiac friendly? If not is it possible to get them frozen or raw so we can fry it ourselves?
A:
My bff is celiac and has had their gf churros. She loved them and didn't give her any problems.

Are the churros vegan?
A:
YES!!! Only some of the sauces they use are vegan though, so be sure to specify that you would like vegan options. But the churros themselves are vegan, and delicious.

Happy Days Cafe has truly mastered the art of dessert with their heavenly churro ice cream sandwich! From the first bite, I was transported to dessert paradise. The churro was perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully soft on the inside, with just the right amount of cinnamon sugar coating.
But what really took this treat to the next level was the generous scoop of creamy, indulgent ice cream sandwiched between two churro discs. The contrast of warm churro and cold ice cream was pure bliss for my taste buds.
Each bite was a symphony of flavors and textures that left me smiling from ear to ear. If you're a fan of churros and ice cream, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the churro ice cream sandwich at Happy Days Cafe. It's a five-star dessert experience you won't soon forget!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brian W.West Los Angeles, États-Unis371294577422 mars 20241 check-in
Great place, full of character, for churros con chocolate, hot chocolate, etc.
A bit narrow inside and not ideal to work, but that doesn't detract from the vibe-- in fact the vibe very much is a don't work, just come chill. Service is pretty good too, at least when they're not busy.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 2 mars 2024Avis mis à jour
Came here with a group of friends. Ordered a sampler waited 25 minutes only to find out they forgot our order. No apologies. Only excuse that they were busy, which to be honest they weren't. To make it worse this was what my pregnant wife was craving.
I'm never coming back hereHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 07 janv. 2024Avis précédentCame here to satisfy a sweet tooth. It's a cute little spot specializing in coffee/teas and churros. They have a WIDE VARIETY of churros.
I ended up getting the churo sampler - Oreo, Nutella, guava, and dulce de leche. These were so good and they were HUGE. The churros were made fresh and they were warm, crunchy and the fillings were gooey in the middle. It was amazing
Also got the crepe tastic. This was also very HUGE and VERY SWEET. I couldn't finish this. But if you're a fan of crepe, this is the way to go. It's filled with strawberries and banana and covered in Nutella.
Service was ok. The server initially didn't want to honor the check in deal, saying it was for online orders only, but once I showed them exactly what the check in deal was, problem solved. - 25 avr. 2024
Im a big churro girl, and these are something else. They aren't your traditional churros, but they're incredible. I love the Oreo, Nutella, and guava fillings the most! The outside is perfectly crispy and the inside is soft which compliments the filling very well. They hold up great if you order them to your home, but I love coming on a late night with friends after dinner and sitting under the cute lights out front too

Been wanting to try this place for a while now and i finally got the chance to. They have some vegan options such as the plain churros, Oreo and guava stuffed churro, drinks replaced with almond or soy milk but add $1, vegan ice cream scoop, and vegan milkshake. We had the plain churros and the Oreo stuffed churros. They were nice and crispy. Really pricey though. Staff were nice. Saw people just hanging out and had their laptops to work here. Noise level was average. Parking is a challenge. I found parking in a residential area in the back and walked. I didn't see a bathroom.

Love this spot! It's one of the spots in the area that is usually open later than others, which also happens to be the time I want something sweet.. perfect time for churros and ice cream!
The churros are awesome and nearly perfect. The churro sandwich is a really nice option because the little wafer they make is very cool. But TIP: order a six count of churros and scoop of ice cream on the side, I think you get a better bang for your buck and the churro ratio is much higher.
Everyone's been friendly even if it was near closing and the hang is cool inside, there are constantly people enjoying the space.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 8 nov. 2023
Not wanting to end the night as early and wanting a bit of coffee after dinner elsewhere, I had stumbled in here for my first time with a friend who lives close by and comes by sometimes; she enjoys this place.
I have to say there aren't many cafe type places open past 7 pm or so in the SFV and let alone during a weekday, so to venture into Happy Days Cafe at the time we did was a nice surprise. They are open M-Sun till at least 12am; they don't seem to be open in the morning and are rather open from the afternoon. It's charming inside and has some nice vibes with plenty of plants, some various decor, and a clean/cozy feel. It's not too big and features several tables and a couple high top tables. The menu is filled with desserts (churros, waffle, crepe, ice creams, shakes), coffee's and teas. Parking options include street and a parking lot around the block off Cedros. Drink prices are in the $4-7 range and desserts $8-14.
On this visit we went with some cappuccinos and shared an order of the stuffed churros (two churros with fillings of choosing) with a side of ice cream that was then later added on top by us. The coffee was good and the churros were enjoyed. We chose dulce de leche and Nutella as the fillings. I think the churros could have been a bit more warm and I wasn't a big fan of the stuffed churro look and texture but they were still enjoyed. Looking forward to visiting again.Helpful 14Thanks 5Love this 12Oh no 0 - 2 mars 20241 check-in
Thanks to a quick yelp search for tea I stumbled upon this place! In the rain my friend and I parked in a near by parking garage and walked in to this charming little cafe. I loved the decor, it was like a tea party, whimsical beautiful, enchanting, fun. Such a great spot for a girls date! I ordered the house Roobios (organic ) tea and my friend had the chamomile (organic). It's a pickup from the counter type spot, pay, pick a spot to sit, they call and you can pickup at the front. Our hot tea was lovely to sip while we chatted. Being gluten free and diary free it's rare to have an exceptional dessert.
We ordered the gluten free churro ice cream sandwich with coconut vegan ice cream. With a side of Nutella for $1 and it was soooo good! Came out warm and crunchy and fluffy and was just the way I remembered churros tasing. The ice cream was light and creamy too. I would order other flavors next time. But having an option was soo nice! Vegan and gluten free friendly!
The cashier was friendly and I checked in on yelp while in the store and received a 15% off
The teas are priced $4 a piece and the desserts are fairly well priced too.
They have lattes, coffee, matcha etc.
The chandeliers, cozy seats, brick wall, plants everywhere was such an inviting space. Made it feel like you were in your grandmas house for tea. Highly recommend this place for churros and anyone looking for a cute new place to explore. In the middle of Ventura Blvd it's surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 5 sept. 2023
Small cute cafe. It is decorated with old and peculiar decorations. They have two tables to eat outside and some tables inside. The showcase the samples of the churros and they have vegan and GF churros and ice cream.
We asked to used the bathroom and they told us there didn't have any available. That it's a bummer since we are not from here and we needed to use it.
I ordered a crepe and 2 order of GF churros. One of dulce de leche and the other one chocolate. They were so delicious. I like the dulce the leche better to my taste. Also I got some plain churros. They were so crunchy and the flavor was really good.
Good thing is that, they don't have one of this places close to home if not I was Going to get more often and my belly was going to grow more. No bueno.
I ordered a coffee too. It was pretty great too. Definitely a place to come back. Churros were
Really great!! So yummy!!Helpful 12Thanks 3Love this 17Oh no 0 - 11 nov. 2023
If anyone is looking for dessert and drinks after having dinner, then this is the place to go! I love that they are open late, so when I need to fulfill my sweet cravings, I have a spot to go to.
The place itself is small but they have some tables inside. But they can get busy, so expect to wait a while for a table. Also, parking is on the street.
They have a variety of coffee and flavors to choose from. They also offer teas and matcha. The coffee isn't the best, but also not the worst. The best part are the churros, in my opinion. The sampler is the way to go, with different flavors. They come in guava, caramel, Nutella and raspberry. Did I also mention that most desserts are vegan!! Def a place to try.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
