Happy Nail and Spa of Alton

Service: Got the deluxe manicure and pedicure.

Quality: Experience was average. Massage chair wasn't working. Slightly pricey for the job done which wasn't entirely clean, still had flakes of skin on hands and feet. Would appreciate if they had double-checked their work.

Staff: Mostly reserved, there was a huge language barrier which made it difficult to make a reservation, ask questions about their services, make requests, or communicate certain needs. Also wasn't able to have much social conversation or interaction as a result.

Overall: Not completely terrible if you need a walk-in or immediate job done, but would try a different place for the price point if you're not on a time crunch

I had a manicure and pedicure here and seriously it was one of the best ones I have had in socal. All of the girls and guys are super sweet and do such a good job. They also do the best neck and shoulder massages. My lady was so sweet. I ended up loving this nail polish color and she let me keep it. Seriously would recommend this place and will be coming back.

Do not come here for pedicure.
Nails were cut slanted and when I asked if she could cut even she was annoyed. She tried to fix and I pointed out what I wanted. She got upset and tried again but I still did not get them fixed. I just gave up and will fix on my own. Since she was annoyed the polish wasn't much better.

This place is great for a pedicure. There are few stations for manicures but plenty of pedicure spots.

My pedicurist was Hannah and she did a great job! My feet are so baby soft because she put in WORK! I wish I found this spot earlier because they do a good job for a really affordable price. (I got a pedicure with callus removal for $38, most places range around $45-50).

I can see that this place can get busy, and they run like a standard nail salon (which is typically first come first serve). So keep that in mind if you're looking for a place that "honors appointments" or if you're expecting a spot with American-based mannerism ;)

I have to say I've been so impressed with the Happy Nails on Alton Parkway in Irvine. The manager along with Tina and Mi really stand out as being exceptional representatives of the salon.. The shop is run smoothly and professionally, and every single person I have come in contact with is very kind and professional. As far as the service, that's actually provided, that, too has exceeded my expectations each and every time I received it, I would highly recommend this salon. It's a wonderful, relaxing experience and I really appreciate the great team at Happy nails on Alton in Irvine.

Tina never fails to disappoint, she does an amazing job with the designs and they never chip! Would highly recommend her as your next nail artist!

I really love this nail salon! Went here for my wedding nails. Mimi nailed it! Pun intended. They look so feminine and beautiful with a slight sparkle as well. They were perfect!

Thank you to Tweety, I always have a great experience here. I get dip/gel and love how it looks and that it never chips! Found the best natural color today. Very excited for this to be my new go-to.

This place is a great place for a manicure but not so much for a pedicure. I was a walk-in and wanted a gel mani and pedi. The woman who did my nails was very good and attended my natural nails great.
But the women who did my toes took an exceptionally long time removing the gel polish off my skin. Her method seemed to be messily apply the gel polish and then remove the excess polish around my toe nails. In the end, my toes still have gel polish residue on my toes because she didn't do the best at removing the polish.
I wanted the mani and pedi package (plus extra for the gel) but they said I had to buy mani and pedi separately??? Also the 5min massage in the package was only 2 min, and it only applied to one hand and was not included for the feet.
