Kauai Sea Tours

After Holo Holo canceled a few hours before departure Kauai Sea Tours came to the rescue. Nice smooth trip out and back. Customer service was top notch. They are very OCD about safety which I appreciated.

Kauai Sea Tours was a on the water experience in Kauai that was as good as it could be. Great Captain (Kauai) and crew (3 smiling women). Nice boat, with two heads, plenty snacks provided along with fresh water (which was encouraged by the crew) and soft drinks.

We certainly got our money's worth for the cruise boat and crew. All the crew made sure everyone was doing OK, they were very talkative and friendly. Captain Kauai was full of humor and clearly very experienced. We had perfect weather and sea conditions. The departure port was a bit away from most hotels, but it's an easy drive and the parking was plentiful.

Cons are too many people on board (48 plus crew), and the food (teriyaki chicken, salad and veggies). Seems like for the price they could upgrade the food quite a bit. I know we weren't there for the food, but it was included and I had much higher expectations.

Lastly, the Kauai Candy store next to the Kauai Sea Tours office was opened after we returned, which was a real treat.

There's a reason this is #1 on yelp. Could not have asked for a better captain (captain Kauai) and crew! They made this is unforgettable experience. Truly breath taking views and excellence service! Cannot recommend enough!

A few people had recommended the Na Pali Beach landing tour, so decided to give it a try.

The tour starts nice and early, giving your group a private tour of the coast before all of the other zodiacs and catamarans arrive, which was really nice. Every so often we encountered pods of spinner dolphins which were so cute! As we cruised down the coast, we stopped for some photo opps and went into two caves and saw some waterfalls, prior to doing our beach landing. The coast line was so dramatic and gorgeous... felt like a scene out of Jurassic Park. Once we parked the zodiac, we jumped in and snorkeled - saw an array of fish and a turtle too. After snorkeling we had a simple lunch then walked around the former fishing village and saw the ruins of the once prosperous village. Though the grass/weeds had been recently cut, I would recommend bringing water shoes for the walk.

I thought we were going to see another cave or two on our way back, but I must have misheard as we came back to the harbor.

All in all it was a really fun tour and I'm glad I got to go. Thank you Sky and Dawn!

What a great adventure! We opted for the sunset sail. Captain Kauai (the short name he provided for his much longer Hawaiian name) was well qualified to captain this 60' catamaran. He gave excellent health and safety direction before we left the gathering point. The trip was 5 hours - if you have reason to believe you'll be seasick medicate. If you need anything for your health over the next 5 hours, bring it. Throughout the gorgeous journey he advised guests what to expect from the wind, waves and water. His piloting enhanced our trip while he told stories about the Na Pali coast and ancient and more contemporary Hawaiian and Polynesian history in an unscripted playful way. The crew-KK, Raquelle, and Jess-were first rate in attention to all guests - from the seasick ones to the adventurous ones enjoying the ride from the bow. Safety was their number one priority-crew watched from a short distance especially around the stairs with respect for each guests ownership of their experience. Nice MaiTais and bar opened after we were past the toughest waves. Appropriate taco buffet. Much mahalo and aloha for this great, gently playful crew. I have not exposed any of the surprises in this trip. Just GO!

It's worth the money, we did the Lucky Lady Nāpali Coast tour today from 6:45AM to 12:30pm and it was the best thing we did in Kauai so far! The crew was very attentive. Captain Kauai was very professional and the girls were awesome! Captain Kauai knew some cool Hawaii history so we were entertained all the way up and down the coast. Saw the most beautiful coastline! Thanks again!

Whale watching cocktail hour tour was fantastic! Wasn't "expecting" to see whales, cause I know the crew can't really fully control that, but the crew was consistently very motivated and eager to make sure we saw some whales, we ended up seeing more than 5! The crew was very attentive, fun, energetic, and so witty with the informative jokes. Willing to do this tour again and would very much recommend it to everyone!

Captain Paul navigated rough seas and we were rewarded with a pod of 6 humpback whales and then 2 groups of whales 2 each. The staff was attentive and friendly! I highly recommend!

Amazing Tour! Would totally recommend. The crew we had we're so attentive and helpful, they truly went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having fun and had what we needed. We got to snorkel and saw a variety a fish and sea turtles. The Napali Coast was breathtaking.
