"Pity" and "concern" is what I'd use to describe my feelings towards the reviews calling this "best pizza around". Compared to Costco pizza is an insult to the wholesale bargain box mart.
A travesty to the very dish itself, Italians everywhere should be outraged.

Way overdone and hard with a burnt taste. Very salty. Do they use a cheese blend?? Is it fake cheese that was burnt?? Pizza cheese should be mozzarella and gooey. Why is it so hard to get decent pizza??? Gave them another chance tonight but not going back. So

do not listen to the biased five star reviews. the pizza is edible at best. worst subs in wolfeboro. with so many places around, go elsewhere.

You know it's gonna be good when the place is full of locals!
It's an order-at-the-register/grab-your-drink-from-the-cooler kind of place. Decor is minimal, and they don't need it. It's no frill but amazing pizza and definitely worth it!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1

The pizza reminds me of my hometown staple pizza joint.
The old Pine Cone pizza reminds me of the other hometown staple pizza joint (thin crust). Sadly, the Pine Cone has morphed into a pile of garbage.
Thankfully, Louis has filled the void.
The staff, while often overwhelmed, is extremely accommodating and prompt. The phones are never taken off the hook even in the busy seasons.
Thick crust pizza with generous splashes of marinara and cheese.

The cheese is gooey and tasty and pairs well with the sauce. The crust is a Greek style, not generally my choice, but here it works very well and compliments the other ingredients.

Pepperoni is our usual choice and we have never been disappointed. The pizza is more a Greek style than traditional Italian style crust, with hard vertical edges vs the rounder soft style. While the crust is good, it is the cheese that is the star here. It is a special blend of Louis' creation that along with the sauce makes for a terrific, tasty well cooked treat. We've not tried any of the other offerings on the menu, mostly because the pizza is so good, but others around that do order sandwiches don't have leftovers!

I don't know if its new hampshire or just pizza places in Wolfeboro but no one here seems to know how to use Yelp or maps to update their hours. Everyone here seems to be accidentally in business because they don't care enough to put in minimal effort.
