Shrimp bisque...I consider it chowder...fabulous!!!
The cheese burger was exceptional too!
Great service while sitting at the bar.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lee Ann M.Greensboro, États-Unis69119 avr. 2024
Lulus is just fun, relaxing and low key vibe. Kid friendly. Great beach area(basically sand pit) for kids to play in with some games to play.
Older kids and those young at heart really enjoy the high ropes. And of course everyone loves the arcade! Newer games as well as some of the older ones. You get tickets for points that you can turn in for prizes
And then there is all that Barefoot landing has once you have your fun at Lulus.
Food is good, nothing special a little pricey. Fried okra is one of our crowds favorites! But you are outdoors, along the Intracoastal waterway. Sip your favorite beverage while watching the kiddos have fun and the boats motoring down the waterway.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Stan H.Gulf Beach, Pensacola, États-Unis7312229 mars 2024
After dozens of visits to Lulu's over the years, today's was really sub-standard. The new menu has reworked the food presentations and options. No more shrimp salad, no options on fish sandwich. (Used to be red snapper or mahi.) And they were seriously understaffed. I'd like to meet the manager who sent the waiting guests for drinks at the barge bar. Two people running the dining room service bar and a seated barge bar with around 16 guests. Not possible for the greatest of staff members. But they did the best they could.
Presume they have a new person creating their menu. Mark me as not a fan of the new taco presentation. The fish on the taco's offered was "snapper" when I asked what kind, it was just snapper. Guest had the shrimp tacos. They eliminated the black beans and shredded cheese for some lumpy "Mexican" style cheese. OK but nothing like the prior presentation.
Opted for the grilled grouper sandwich, which came out blackened (not the bartenders fault.) I rejected it and then a manager came and placed it down telling me that what the grilled fish sandwich looks like. Nice customer relations. I took a bite, it was too salty so I pushed it away. The bartender, a great guy named Joey had it replaced. The fish was OK but who would build a plate with a piece of fish, a single lettuce leaf and two slices of fried green tomato? Not appealing on the plate and nothing special for its $24 price. They did take it off the check and I tipped on the full amount.
We boat to this restaurant 20 plus times each year. It will take a while before I decide to return. They were severely understaffed for the business they had at 130 on a Friday afternoon. It's spring break for many. Staff accordingly or close down sections to insure good service. And get someone who understands quality fish on your team. You have too many fresh fish from the Gulf that you can offer that are easily identified and guest's are willing to pay for. Used to love the "Gulf Wild" tagged red snapper sandwich. If this is the new standard, count me as unimpressed.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - Tom L.Gainesville, États-Unis365115 mai 20242 check-ins
Arrived here because the Hangout was closed. That was unfortunate. 45 min wait i can understand. Slow service. Bar drinks took a long time as dis the food order. A pina colada was no longer frozen on arrival. Burger not great and cold onion rings. Wife had gluten allergy manager took order and didn't notify the kitchen. Can't say ill be back.

This place is super busy most of the time. I've attempted a visit several times but the wait was crazy. I ended up over there on a slow day. Seated at the bar. Wasn't much of a wait for a table either. Friendly couple at the bar. Bar tender and the wait staff were friendly and attentive.
I ordered a simple shrimp basket. Fresh and very tasty. Great seasoning. Ask for some extra sauce! Tried their local fairhope beers, very tasty. I grabbed a 6pack from the shop on my way out.
If you can get in, it's worth itHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - 28 déc. 2023
The family and I came here for lunch. There was no wait and the waiter, John, greeted us immediately. He took our drink orders and came back quickly with those and took our food orders. I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos , my wife had the blackened fish tacos, and our son had the shrimp basket off the kid's menu. All of the food came out quickly and was very good!!
The atmosphere is very fun and welcoming! There is an arcade, an obstacle course, and a gift shop all on sight to do while you wait if you have to or you can enjoy it afterwards.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - 18 févr. 2024
Went on a night that was actually not too busy. The food was good, just not great. Priced reasonably. Loud open restaurant. The experience of the various things to go and see and do outside the restaurant exceeded the quality of the food. This place is iconic and well lived in the area. As long as the prices remain reasonable the place should be around a long time. I'm done giving restaurants 5stars for above average but standard menu choices. A 5 star has to include a signature dish that I likely cannot make or wouldn't make at home. This place didn't have that but the service and charm of Lulu's is a reason to give it a try.

I loved Lulu's! I will go anywhere that has shopping, games and food! Once you put your name in you can shop their gift shop which is all reasonably priced. They also have some fun games that you can partake in!
I got the nachos and it was so good! They were huge so you can definitely split! I tried my parents burger and that was delicious as well.
They had live music which was such a fun touch to this restaurant. Our server was SO friendly and attentive!
We will definitely be back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Joe H.San Francisco, États-Unis87641513 avr. 2024
First off, took wayyyyy to long to piece together that Lucy Buffett is Jimmy Buffett's sister, hence the Crazy Sista beer. Maybe it was the rum punch? Place is an absolute spectacle and pretty sweet if you have little kids and want to dine out. Ours had a blast, food was good, drinks were good, merch is kinda awesome too. Coming from the Bay Area in California, we have nothing like this so I enjoyed the whole thing.

This place can get ridiculously crowded/busy. We came here on a Wednesday evening for dinner during off season (end of September 2023). We had a 20 minute wait, but there were things you can do to past time. There's a gift shop, arcade and a couple of outdoor activities.
Our server was great. We knew he was slammed with 2 other large party tables, but he still did a great job. Now, to the food: it is mediocre at best. There was nothing bad about this place, but also not a place I would come back to dine if visiting OB again. This place is popular because it's Jimmy Buffets wife's restaurant, but the food is just "meh."
If you like cocktails, DO NOT ORDER unless you like pre-made alcoholic beverages. My drink and my husband's drink tasted pre-made and his tasted like sweet juice.
The music was ridiculously loud. We had to shout and still could not hear each other. I left with a sore throat afterwards. I actually enjoyed my dish and the onion rings. But after dinner, my stomach was soooo upset. My nephew's stomach was felt the same too. We felt heavy with all the oil. The Manager of the restaurant stopped by to ask us how dinner went. I hate bringing up any issues, but I did let her know we did not like the cocktails. She was really nice to take them off the bill. Overall, the dining experience was loud and I had an upset stomach. I don't have a negative review, it's just that there isn't anything special about this place (food wise).Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1
