McMenamins management have stolen over $800,000 in tips that customers have left for service staff at this specific location.
Not to mention serving store bought and frozen food items for extreme markup. Anything on the menu can be found within a 5 minute drive from this location for 1/2 the price and 2x the flavor/quality.
I like the vibes and how most locations have a historical connection but there's no way I can justify tip theft and heavy markups on frozen food.
Stealing is bad. Stealing from your employees is unforgivable.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - 6 janv. 2024
Do yourself a favor and walk across the parking lot from this location to the bowling alley next to it. The alley has good drinks and delicious food but more importantly attentive and fast service.
I kept looking for something that would make me want to go back (just one thing at least) to this mcmenamins location but simply couldn't find it. The lack of communication and extremely slow service informed me to never visit again.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 332897711014 déc. 2023Avis mis à jour
Oh Mcmenamins. You sadden me. This was the location that hadn't let me down yet. YET. Until yesterday.
We were trying to have a bit of a celebration. But three of the six beers I chose for my flight were out and the vegan mushroom sandwich wasn't available (which is the best thing I've EVER had at a Mcmenamins.) Our server seemed frazzled but we were pretty chill. That said it did take an awfully long time for EVERYTHING. Drinks and food.
I still love the atmosphere there but the food disappointed me and so did the lack of tap options. Bummer.Helpful 10Thanks 2Love this 3Oh no 313 juin 2023Avis précédentWe popped into this McMenamins on a Mom/Daughter date by my daughter's choosing. I had NEVER been here as it isn't super close (Greenway is very close to home as is Sherwood and Murray Hill,) but she chose so we went!!
Immediately after walking in we were told that there was a 20 minute wait for tables so we grabbed a seat inside to wait and were more than comfortable. I got drinks from the bar for us, she used the restroom and by that time the hostess sat us! Paris was our server and she was as lovely as her name. She was attentive without being over attentive, and our food came in less time than expected as well. It was nice and clean there and the Wheated Whisper was absolutely delicious!!! Such a perfect summer patio drink!
I got a portobello mushroom burger, which was vegan, with Cajun tots and my girl got the hummus plate without feta. It was delicious. I wasn't super excited about the burger but I'd honestly go back for it!!
This McMenamins had better service than any since I've been to Edgefield. The staff seemed to work together as a team and were ALL very friendly. - 2 mars 2024Avis mis à jour

I love that there is a 360 bar with plenty of room & seats almost always available while you wait to be seated at a table. I've never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes to be seated even when it looks super packed, they're always somehow able to seat you in a timely manner.
I've come here with my partner & my family, but I mostly come with the kids I babysit. Sometimes when I go out to eat with the kids, there happens to be one small thing wrong with their food & they don't want to touch it. At McMenamins, they always order the same things & there are never issues with their food, so we know we can depend on them to always satisfy the kid's cravings.
They currently have the Irving's Street Fries which comes with melted Brie cheese & sage that is so so good, I highly recommend ordering it for the table. The Caesar salad wrap is always a good choice, I get the soft pretzels almost every time I go (the beer cheese is delicious!), the hogshead bbq salmon sandwich was basically inhaled by my partner the last time we came here & the steak bites are very tasty!
Pictures are taken by one of the kids I babysit so enjoy that! - 19 oct. 2023
I'm a HUGE fan of McMenamins. I have stayed at four of their hotels, several times, enjoyed their outdoor music, their movie theaters, and their unique breweries and pubs. So I was really excited when my friend offered to take me to lunch at McMenamins Cedar Hills restaurant in Beaverton.
Sadly, the entire experience and meal left us disappointed.
Here's how our experience went: It was a beautiful day, so we opted to sit on the patio.
When we first walked in, our pretty hostess greeted us with a stoic expression, no smile, no hello, no welcome, just 'how many?'
But our waitress was very friendly with a big smile, so we thought 'great!'
We ordered the Brewer's salad with raspberry vinaigrette , with blue cheese, hazelnuts, marinated red onions. truffle fries, a bbq sandwich topped with coleslaw, two beers. The beers were, unfortunately, the only saving grace. The salad was lackluster and just okay. The truffle fries very sad and disappointing. Usually, they should have flavor, and at least should look fresh, maybe have some garlic and parsley for color and flavoring. These looked like they sprinkled truffle salt on them as a last minute thought, and the fries looked and felt like they had been sitting out for a long time waiting to be served. OH! And the ketchup they brought out in little ramekins, tasted lumpy and vinegary, like they had married the ketchup bottles too many times and then left them out.
My Red Eye bbq brisket sandwich, which I was really looking forward to eating, was also not great. It was like being excited about a first date, only to learn that the other person lied on their online bio. whoever wrote the menu is a very creative writer, (thinly sliced smoked beef brisket, Red Eye bbq sauce, buttermilk coleslaw, and dark star mayo on a toasted bun)... what I got was, a bun, which should have at least been toasted, looked, felt, and tasted like it had come out of a cellophane wrapper from the supermarket. The brisket inside was dry and chewy, the mayo, meh, the buttermilk coleslaw, not so much.
When we explained to the waitress (again very nice) about the truffle fries and ketchup and the sandwich (we forgave the bland salad), she said they've been doing it this way for two years she'd been working there. No offer to take anything off the bill, no apologies. And instead of running our credit card and bringing it back in the sleeve, we thought it was strange to bring the check in a sleeve where we placed the credit card to bring wrung up and brought back, she laid a machine on the table for us to do. Kind of missing the entire point of putting the bill in the folder.
Very dissatisfied. No quality control, no finesse, no care, no love. We will not be back. I won't dismiss McMenamins entirely, after this experience, but they do need a restaurant makeover, or Gordon Ramsey to wake them up out of their complacency. He would ask them, 'Have you just given up?'Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 26 sept. 2023
Three stars for this workday lunch. Honestly, the food was decent, I'd probably say average. The wait staff was fantastic (thank you Devhan!). But honestly the thing that dropped this to 2 stars was the price. Our average for the lunch entrees was $28 per person... without alcohol. That's high any way I slice it, and I don't know that I would recommend for what you get.
Still good vibes though, you can always count on McMenimans for that!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 2 janv. 2024
Arrived here on a Tuesday evening, the main side of the restaurant was a bit filled but the other side of the restaurant was quite empty. Very poor service, waitress didn't come around often and took over 10 minutes for our beers to come out after ordering. We even had to walk to the other side of the restaurant to pay our check since our waiters both disappeared for a long time. The beer selection is solid, the food is wayyy overpriced for the quality. Definitely seen McMenamins go downhill in service and quality, which is sad to see. Many other places in the area that has similar drink selections with better food options and prices.

Loved this new(er)(ish?) McMenamins in Beaverton. Tucked inside the plaza, with ample space for inside/outside dining. Friendly service & great food. A million taps and ton of seasonal drinks. Very attentive staff and food arrived very hot & tasty.

Good spot before or after Bowling. Slow for drinks but food can up fast and hot. Staff was pleasant and sat us right away and let us select another area to sit next to the windows once they were opened.
