Menchie's Frozen Yogurt

Me and my family always go there. Its clean and everything good variety too. However i dont think they should have taken away the 2 for 1 deal. Anyways the service was amazing.

If they would add wooden or compostable spoons, there is no reason this wouldn't be a extremely rare 5 star place for me!

Ok, we came back again just over a week. This time we brought friends because other friends shared this place with us. Our friends are healthy and careful about what they eat. And they like frozen yogurt! And, let's face it, we wanted more :/ They didn't try flavors, they just filled their cups. And loved it...of course! We love it more and after reading the calorie count and healthy ingredients, are happy to have Menchie's in El Centro. Next season, we will bring all our snowbird friends and share it with them, too! And the owner stopped by our table. He is so nice and really cares about quality products. Thanks!

We came here tonight for the first time with friends who wanted to take us. I think froyo is good but my husband thinks it's horrible. They told him to trust them and being nice, he went.

I didn't expect much but I walked in and saw all the flavors and they looked good! They have Dole Pineapple Whip, Nutella, NY Cheesecake, Ice Cream Sandwich and others.

You chose your cup size, waffle cone or not and they charge you by the ounce. It's $0.59 per ounce. So, you can buy a whole pound of yoghurt and toppings for $9.44! And from the cups of the people who walked by, they may have come close! You get to taste any that you want, too.

I chose the Pure Chocolate and Dole Pineapple Whip which was so tangy and pineapple flavor. The Pure Chocolate was amazing. It tasted like a a creamy fudgesicle, non-fat, no artificial colors or flavors and made from real Dutch cocoa. It does have 20 grams of sugar in 1/2 cup which is close to the average 17 grams in chocolate ice cream. This is still an occasional treat.

Then, you had to walk the gauntlet of toppings. They have so many candy toppings, fruits, and sauces. Oh, my! I only chose a few pieces of mango and some kiwi boba. The mango wasn't ripe and tangy but the boba was soft (some burst prematurely) but good. It could be scary letting kids see all the fun toppings, though.

The place was spotless when we were there. I'm sure it could get messy when kids go through until they have a chance to clean it up. It seems many of the earlier issues have been corrected. It is small inside with limited seating. We had no problem when we got there. On a busy summer day, you may want to get it quick and head home!

We will definitely be back. I loved it and my husband even really enjoyed it. I recommend giving it a try!

Pastel color cute frozen yoghurt and sorbet dispensary with self serve machines. Flavors range from traditional vanilla and chocolate to exotics like cheesecake pistachio also fruits like coconut strawberry pineapple.

Over all the flavors are a little sweet but good.

Menchies is the best! It is one of the best spots in El Centro for family, the flavors are delicious and they have great toppings the staff is very helpful and sweet. I've never had a bad experience here and love coming!

Solid 3.0 star experience! I'm so glad that a new frozen yogurt place has opened in El Centro, but it does seem to have its own ups and downs.

I dropped by Menchie's on a Saturday around 4:40 pm and was surprised to see such a giant crowd inside. There were sample cups by the yogurt area and I tried a couple of flavors before settling on two. The toppings area was a bit untidy and the trashcans were overflowing, most likely because of the giant volume of people going through the place. However, it was a little disconcerting to see people put their hands into containers to grab toppings instead of using the serving spoons/scoops that were there. I definitely avoided a few topping jars that I saw hands go into.

Once I got my yogurt, I realized that there was barely any seating left inside. It was a busy day so this was to be expected so I just waited outside until a table cleared up. However, once I sat down inside, I came to the realization that it was barely any cooler inside than outside. It seemed as if their central AC was out and there was a small fan spinning to one side of the store. I finished my froyo as quickly as possible just so I could escape the heat and headed out. I can see my rating going up if the cleanliness and the heat issues are fixed in the future.

I love it it's the best dessert ever! Awesome customer service. The employees are so kind to everybody.

My first time at a Menchie's! Have always heard good things but we live right next to a really great froyo so never gave it a second thought. Crazy enough was driving to San Diego and came across this Menchie's off the freeway and it was great!! Super friendly staff, clean, great flavors, and a ton of different toppings. What really took my by surprise is they had FROYO CAKES! How is that even possible... they are magicians

Even though we are not required to wear masks, cleanliness between customers should still be required. There was a line almost out the door and people were using the same frozen yogurt pull handles without a wipe down in between. And... all the spoon handles for the toppings were not being cleaned in between customers. This spreads germs. I do not recommend this place.

Good flavors & prices.
I've ordered 2 birthday cakes from Menchies and both times they were good, my children enjoyed that they had their favorite characters on the cake and that it was a froyo cake.. Nothing amazing or spectacular but it's definitely different than our other choices around here..
