My parents and I had a great kayaking tour with Rafi. Our trip started off with a quick and easy tutorial. Once on the water, we learned about boats, sea life, and interesting Newport facts. When the waters became slightly choppy with wakes, Rafi coached us and helped navigated our way through them. Overall, we had a great experience. Definitely worth checking out.

We love visiting Newport and this weekend was our way of getting away from the heat
We booked a 6 pm tour (2 hours) and even at 6pm it was pretty warm (72)
Parking is easy
The guide gave us a quick safety rundown along with the harbor rules
Although the kayaks are "sit on top" they were great for 2 people as there was not much risk of capsizing while we paddled around the harbor
We had a great tour guide who pointed out all the features as we paddled along the sea wall, docks, past the coast guard and under the bridge
The water was calm and the tide was just beginning to go out but paddling back to base was not a problem
Highly recommend this for all abilities as it's a view of Newport you can only get from a kayak

Had a great tour of Yaquina Bay for three adults and a child. We got a quick safety lesson and paddling lesson and then we were off to the races.

The tour lasted two hours and visited several places in the Newport harbor before continuing along the shore to the Yaquina Bay Bridge where we rested for a minute before turning around and heading back to the dock. Our guide, Anya, knew a lot about the workings of the harbor, various boats, the Newport area, and the local sea life. Along the way we saw jellyfish, harbor seals, and sea lions.

It was a great way to spend the morning and I think we've found a new hobby.

Had a blast paddling around the bay yesterday. We had a group with 12 and both guides were fantastic. They had all kinds of knowledge about the wildlife, buildings, and boats around the bay, fun and educational. We had beautiful weather until the very end but even when it started to sprinkle we were comfortable. They had rain gear for each of us (in lots of sizes) which helped keep us warmer and drier. If you get the chance to try this, it's well worth the money.
