This a pretty solid neighborhood grill. They have an extensive menu and seasonal specials. The quality is high on almost everything. I was in a cocktail mood to start the night and my manhattan was solid. The other guesses had beer and they have a nice selection.
The place has a dark wood clubby look to it.
We started with crab cakes from their seasonal menu. They were wonderfully light and not loaded with bread crumbs. Even my wife approved and she doesn't like shellfish.
I had the salmon stuffed with a blend of crab, shrimp and blue cheese. It was delicious.
My wife had an impressive steak salad. My mom announced before coming that she was getting the fish tacos. I tried one and they are indeed good.
Special mention to the obvious presence of management on the floor helping out. This the key to keeping the quality of our experience high. Keep it up!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 4 mai 2024
Stopped by for lunch while traveling through the area. We aren't locals but Tralee the area frequently. Decided on this restaurant based on the reviews and menu options. First impression... it was much nicer than I had envisioned. The doors were held open for us on a busy rainy Saturday. We were seated immediately without reservations. I wish I had gotten our server name, he was phenomenal. Never missed a beat. Our drinks were filled without ever having to ask. My husband and I both had an iced tea, very good tea. It was brewed well with no bitter after taste. Our daughter's strawberry lemonade was delicious.
We ordered the artichoke spinach cheese dip and it was really good. My husband ordered a burger that was on special that month and he enjoyed it. It was a bbq Hawaiian burger with Cole slaw. The burger was great, coleslaw not so great. My daughter ordered a cheeseburger with fries, all great... except the ranch. We love a good house made ranch this this one misses the mark. I had the pacific cod fish tacos. The fish was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The sauce and the salsa on the side were both very good. My preference would be half the cabbage and a bit more fish. But it was so good I would get it again.
Overall, it was a great atmosphere, great service and great food. We will come back on our next trip through.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - C V.Wilsonville, États-Unis0151429 mars 2024
Oswego Grill has evolved over time.
It's always a light and trendy place for good food and decent ambience. Recently I treated my wife and several friends out there for dinner and the experience was relaxing and filling.
Most of their seafood dishes are prepared well and seasoned accordingly. Personally I ordered the Jambalaya and found it to be dull. Although it was seasoned appropriately and not too dry for a rice dish, it lacked character without the mandatory Creole sauce. I even requested it and the staff looked like I had lobsters crawling around my face.
Anyways, just because I make it better at home I feel the dish was at least okay...
One last item to avoid are the Calamari. Death by over salting. Better luck with the bacon on the clothesline.
Next time I'll stay away from things that are disappointing. Live and learn.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Barbara S.San Jose, États-Unis21242728 mars 2024
I was in the area for a month, eating out every night. Oswego Grill in Wilsonville was our favorite restaurant to go to for dinner. My sister lives in the area, and it is also one of her, and her daughter's favorite restaurants, and she is someone that loves to cook, loves finding new places to dine,..... It is definitely worth a try! Very nice, calming ambience, good food, decent service, clean restrooms, comfortable booths and tables, and fairly easy to get a table.
Our favorite go-to meal while there was the Grilled Salmon Power Bowl. For $17.99, it had a nice size piece of grilled salmon, roasted sweet potatoes, fresh avocado, candied walnuts, blueberries, mango, quinoa, kale, and a lemon vinaigrette. The kale was not bitter, as it can be sometimes. The dressing was delicious. It felt like a healthy meal for a reasonable price! We paid almost that amount in the mornings at Starbucks for hardly anything.
The apple, pear, & arugula salad was tasty, but wish they would use real lettuce, and not the scrawny/stemmy arugula.
I also tried their special Hawaiian Wagyu burger with pineapple, bacon,.... It was delicious and filling. It's recommended wine pairing of New Leaf Pinot Noir became the wine I asked for most nights there. Very smooth. I was getting a 6 oz. glass, but one night wasn't asked which size, and found the 9 oz. glass comes with a mini-carafe, which seemed much nicer, if you aren't driving.
Another night I had Chicken Marsala -- also delicious! Mashed potatoes, mushrooms, very tasty sauce.
We went once, then came back a couple weeks later and the waiter remembered us. You seem to have to ask for bread, which is very tasty, with a garlic butter on top. Although, the 2nd time back we didn't have to ask, as our waiter remembered.
We also went to the Oswego Grill in Beaverton, but that location is busier, along the popular Cedar Hills Road, and there is less of a wait at this location, and better service. We have been to the restaurant in Lake Oswego in years past, and it is also very nice.
Steaks and some seafood dishes will be pricier, but there is a variety of dishes for every person's taste and price preference. I highly recommend this restaurant.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 27 avr. 2024
From out of town and was invited here for a business meal with my colleagues after a long work day. Cute place with upscale interior. Food was ok. Some things better than others but all edible. The big issue and why I would not recommend was the service, and I'm talking all levels. We waited for our reservation. Then we waited at the table for service. First server shows and apologized that someone else would be serving us. So we waited some more. Server finally shows and takes a drink order, then after another lengthy time someone else comes back not knowing what one drink was, because the server simply wrote what he thought he heard down (which is no drink known to man) rather than understanding what the drink was? When it did finally come it was weak watery and tasteless. Water was never offered and didn't show after we requested it til the end of the meal. There was a misunderstanding on one of the dishes that somehow turned into a fiasco. We were never asked about having a second drink or if the rest of the meals were ok or if we needed anything else. We were just plain ignored. Then we waited for the bill. When the manager finally showed with it he was quite brusque to a degree that it was noticed by all. Despite whatever the issue was about the meal with our hosts, there was an entire table of people from all corners of the country sitting there who were subjected to his unprofessional attitude. Not a good reflection on the restaurant. Best of luck to them. While I don't live in the area I won't be asking to head back.

I love the salmon power bowl and arugula chicken salad. But everything here is delicious. If you're really lucky you will get Reymon as your waiter. He is awesome. Super friendly and attentive.

I am a chemo patient, quarantined in a hotel with Covid near this restaurant. I called to place a to-go order from their happy hour menu. I was told that if I wanted to get food from the happy hour menu, I had to eat inside. I explained that I'd love to eat inside, but that it wasn't safe for them or myself (immuno compromised with a communicable virus). They then told me that they would make me the food to go, but I'd have to pay twice as much to get it.
I asked to speak with the manager, assuming reason would win the day. Instead the manager said "If I make exceptions for you, where will it end."
Like helping a cancer patient with chemo would put the whole world into a tailspin and no one would ever be able to fix the chaos caused but such a "reckless action". Seriously?! He even said "What would corporate say?" I hope they'd say, "Feed the cancer patient with Covid."
Instead, I called the Black Bear Diner, who doesn't do curbside pickup, explained my situation and they bent over backwards to help me. When I got to their restaurant, I called and they answered "Hello Ms. April, I'm coming out with your food now."
Oswego's manager should spend a week getting trained at the Black Bear.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 1 - 2 oct. 2023
We always love Oswego Grill! They have an extensive menu with a wide variety of selections so everyone can find something they love. My preference is the fried chicken dinner but I also love their salads and fish tacos. Everything is high quality and we'll-seasoned.

I was part of a group of 8 that visited the Wilsonville OG recently, and overall I had a good experience. The atmosphere is comfortable for chatting, and the service was good, although our drinks & refills did take quite a while to come out.
I was really impressed with the ahi and crab sushi roll appetizer -- I could have eaten one of those completely on my own! They nailed it on that one.
For a main course, I ordered the Wild King Salmon, and while there was a nice smokiness to the fish, I was underwhelmed with the size of the filet. The accompanying rice pilaf and asparagus spears were decent enough, but nothing to write home about.
For desert, I went with their special, which was a lemon cookie served with ice cream. It tasted good, but again; nothing spectacular.
I would definitely come back again, especially for that appetizer, but would likely get something different for the other courses.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mariah C.OR, États-Unis015346 avr. 2024
We sadly just missed happy hour, but thankfully everything we ordered still tasted spectacular. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The wagyu Hawaiian burger was sweet from the pineapple and savory with the wagyu. The meat was cooked to perfection, it just melted in our mouths. The burger wasn't soggy and the veggies on it just felt refreshing with every bite. The spicy mac & cheese is perfectly cheesy, not watery whatsoever and the sausage crumble gives it the perfect spice level. Overall, would purchase both meals again! For dessert we shared the hazelnut chocolate chip cookies with a scoop of ice cream. The waitress warned us it would take 20 minutes to bake, so fair warning if you're wanting to try it! The cookies came out warm, they had a flakey exterior and warm and melted inside. Our only wish is it came with another scoop of ice cream, but definitely for the price and taste we would order it again.
