SHOP Dearship repairs before you go with their proposal, unless you are filthy rich!
Last week I brought my Countryman to Mini West Chester in for inspection. the check engin was on)( Their $190 diagnostic indicated several issues, one being an exaust leak coming through the flex pipe.
Their quote to replace and repair was $917. I called around and Red Run exaust in New Holland siad it would be around $200, already a HUGE difference! I dropped it off Sunday night and Monday afternoon it was completed.....THE FINAL COST $97!!!!!!
THIS DEALERSHIP PRICE WAS ALMOST 10X!
BOTTOM LINE IS; DEALERSHIPS MAKE THEIR $$$ ON SERVICE DEPTS TO THE EXTREME ON MANY OF THE ITEMS THAT NEED TO BE REPAIRED. They also give you a check list of recommended service that you can likley also have done elsewhere by a similarly qualified mechanic.
Many BMW/higher end vehicle certified mechanics can be found elsewhere and are more affordable.
DO your homework!
They did do a nice job cleaning the car.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - MaxxRussia ..Legacy Town Center North, Plano, États-Unis0421816 mai 2022
I've attempted to call the parts department several times with no answer. Not even a call back whenever I leave a voicemail with my number. I am simply just trying to acquire parts.

We were traveling form out of town, and ten miles before we reached Kennet Square we hit a pot hole destroying our tire. It's a run flat and not common elsewhere and so first thing Monday morning (it happened Sunday), we reached out to Otto's and Preston in service at the dealership checked they had it in stock and invited us in to replace. We added alignment and oil change too.
The dealership was clean, safe and friendly. Beautiful location.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 21 juill. 2017
I used to love Otto's mini for their service but my most recent visit was disappointing from the service point of view. The work they do on your car is always fantastic and I really appreciate that they provide a loaner vehicle for free. It's a great service. When I selected their services online, tire rotation and balancing did not add any cost to the menu selection. However, when I got a call from their security advisor later, he mentioned it's a paid service and is not free. He could not access the website to confirm that's not what it said online which is weird and I had to pay a part of the service.
When I went their the next day to take my car back, I forgot my badge in the loaner car. I called them twice and spoke to two different people requesting them to check when I realized I had forgotten it there. Both of them said they would call back and 5 days later, I'm still waiting for the call.
I understand you're busy guys but a simple call to a client who has been coming to you for 1.5 years should be treated as a customer service investment. Super disappointed.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Information sur le responsable du commerce

Hi Komal,
We're sorry to hear about your recent experience with us. After looking into the issue with your badge, it is apparent that we dropped the ball with communication. We are very sorry for that. It is not acceptable to have to call in twice for a simple request - we will work on our processes. With regard to our online service scheduling tool, unfortunately, it is not possible to have pricing for job operations that have a range of prices based on model, size, etc. We will work with our vendor on a way to make this more apparent and user friendly.
Regards,

This dealership is perfect, selling a fantastic product, with a friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive staff every step of the way. During this strange uncertainty of buying a car in a high demand, low supply, "post" pandemic world... Otto's Mini made the experience simple, fast, and enjoyable. Pete Barcus deserves an extra shoutout as he is by far the best sales associate in the industry and absolutely deserves a raise and a promotion. I've bought cars from GM to Ford to BMW. I've came into contact with many different salesman and dealership staff over the years. From SUV's to supercars. I can confidentially say that Pete and Otto's Mini provided the best experience to date. This isn't my first Mini, and it certainly won't be my last.

Very disappointed about the new West Chester location. I live in Chester Springs and work in Radnor. My driving habits are along the Route 30 corridor and I despise having to deal with 202 south traffic. I chose Otto's because of the convenient Exton location. I purchased two Minis from Otto's but, as much as I love it, will probably not get a third :( now that they've left Exton.
Convenience is king to a busy person.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ernie E.Kennett Square, États-Unis017521 déc. 2020
Michael Dixon was great to partner with in the purchase of our 2021 MINI JCW. In the middle of global pandemic challenges for my family and I, Michael was honest, trustworthy, responsive, empathetic & humble. If you're in the market, or know of anyone who's in the market for a MINI, this is the person you want to partner with at Otto's!

My mother was actually in the market for a new car, and called me after being treated quite poorly by a competing Mini dealership. Frustrated, and 3000 miles away where I couldn't intervene directly, I called Otto's Mini and spoke with Holly in new car sales. While understandably limited in what she could do, over the phone, to a third-party, Holly negotiated with me quickly and efficiently, made one call to her manager and called me back in five minutes with a negotiated deal, no back-and-forth, no headgames.
It frustrated me to no end that in the ten minutes this took, the dealership that was applying pressure to my mother convinced her, and she had already agreed to a much higher price for the same car elsewhere (I had told her to give me an hour to figure out something). But the Machiavellian tactics of a rival dealer won out, and my mother bought her car there. Seriously, this frustrates the hell out of me.
So please, if you're in the area, go to this dealership and ask for Holly. Not only will you thank me, because she's pleasant to deal with, professional, and will give you a fair price (based upon my admittedly limited experience), but I owe her a sale, and would love to repay her with five for her troubles. She did everything right with me.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Snorkel M.Moose Jaw, SK015714 oct. 2009
I ordered a car from Holly at Otto's Mini in May 2009. The entire process went smoothly! I live in Central PA, so I was able to communicate via e-mail and telephone. I didn't even meet her until it was time to pick up my car in mid-June!
Since I wasn't familiar with the roads, my dad and I got lost on our way to the dealership. I arrived an hour late for my appointment, and right before the dealership was scheduled to close. Holly and the other employees made me feel very relaxed, despite how late I had arrived. They didn't rush me out of the dealership. On the contrary--the first thing she did was give me a hug and asked me if I wanted coffee or tea to drink.
I have never experienced customer service on this level before. I will always recommend Otto's for your Mini needs!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
