Pav Bhaji Hut is a popular restaurant chain known for its delicious and authentic pav bhaji, a popular street food dish from India. The dish consists of a spiced mixture of mashed vegetables served with buttered bread rolls, known as pav.
Pav Bhaji Hut offers a variety of pav bhaji options, including traditional and specialty varieties, each bursting with flavor and served with buttered pav. The restaurant is also known for its other street food offerings, such as chaat and vada pav, as well as a selection of beverages to complement the meal.
The ambiance at Pav Bhaji Hut is casual and welcoming, making it a great spot to enjoy a quick and satisfying meal. The restaurant is popular among locals and visitors alike for its flavorful dishes and affordable prices.
Overall, Pav Bhaji Hut is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy authentic and delicious Indian street food in a casual setting.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Srujan B.San Francisco, États-Unis10766348 janv. 2024
Probably the best pav bhaji in the bay. Their new restaurant in sunnyvale is pretty good. I wish the real juices were more reasonably priced but otherwise it's great.
The service was also decent and hygiene was up to the mark.
The truck did not have much of a seating area but love the seating overall at this location and feels great. 10/10 recommended.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 22 août 2023
Came in on a whim, left incredibly impressed. This Indian street food certainly hits the spot, and it's accompanied with some of the best watermelon juice I've had. You order at the counter, there's relatively quick service, and there's plenty of seating.
This place serves one dish in four variations, and that's a great way to masterfully perfect that specific dish. The spicy pav bhaji is not overly spicy, yet it still provides a nice kick that adds a layer of depth to the food. You can also watch as the bread is buttered and cooked to a glorious golden brown. The watermelon juice is also amazing at washing it all down, and, despite being on the more expensive side, is definitely worth getting at least once for the experience (trust me, you'll like it).
When I'm in the right mood, this place hits the spot like no other, but I don't always leave completely full. Definitely experience this for yourself.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 23 févr. 2023
Recently moved to the area and found this gem. I'm Gujju and I LOVE pav bhaji. Probably the only time I've eaten non-homemade pav bhaji is when I was in India. I was definitely eager to try this place out.
I ordered online and when I got there to pick it up, the employees were nice and helped me out. It looks like this place is pretty busy in the evenings! My fiancé and I ordered one regular pav bhaji and one spicy pav bhaji with Amul cheese (best cheese ever). Glad I came across this eatery, 100% coming back again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1961973178 janv. 2023
Good tasting food! Never my first preference for Indian food but if by chance I end up here, the food is good. The onions on the side always taste bitter for some reason, so I don't get to enjoy my dish thoroughly since onions are a big part of the OG pav bhaji experience.
Portion size is small for the amount they charge. The main dish feels like an appetizer.
One thing i appreciate without doubt is that they use compostable utensils.
Will be nice if there are other Indian street food options and if they introduce vegan options.
Lots of parking available at this location and a boba store next door to pav bhaji hut.
Overall, good as a one time spot.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Rohan B.Sunnyvale, États-Unis1329370916 déc. 2023

I recently visited both the Pav Bhaji Hut restaurant in Fremont and the food truck in Sunnyvale. While the Pav Bhaji was decent at both places, I found the cheese pav bhaji at the Fremont location to be particularly tasty. However, I wasn't a fan of the spicy pav bhaji in Fremont, as it was heavy on masala. On the other hand, the one in Sunnyvale was just right.
The restaurant in Fremont has a decent ambience and quick service, which is a plus. However, the food truck in Sunnyvale is always crowded, so be prepared to wait. Overall, I'd say that both places are decent - not too good, but not bad either. If you're in the area and looking for some decent Pav Bhaji, either of these places will do the trick.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1
