Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I usually go to this Popeye's at odd hours, so I'm not sure if my experience is applicable to high traffic lunch and dinner crowds.

The service can sometimes be slow, but the front desk staff has always been friendly and patient with me. In particular, the lady working at 3:15pm on the most recent Tuesday I visited was on the ball and super helpful.

This Popeyes has false advertisement. I pull to the drive thru and it says on the display $13.99 for 8 piece only. So they told me it would be a six minute wait. So I decided to come inside. So I go to the register to pay and I'm charged $18.01?? So I told the cashier that outside your sign says $13.99 for a 8piece. They said it was a mistake???? Wow! and they didn't honor what was posted and they said they were not taking it down. So warning to customers make sure you have extra money because this Popeyes is a liar about their prices.

I love Popeye's chicken, but I sometimes don't love visiting the place... but I really wanted to try the new chicken sandwich. I went to this location, not because it's close, but because I thought it would be a better experience and I must say, it was really pretty good. First, the sandwich was excellent - I got the spicy version with mashed potatoes. The crust was flavorful and very crispy! The chicken was tender. It was right around noon but the dining room only had one person sitting there. The counter area was rather busy, so I guess everyone was ordering to-go. I waited less than 5 minutes before my order was ready! I sat down to eat. The dining space was clean. The only down side was a big mountain of ice at the soda machine, which a worker eventually cleaned away. As I was finishing my meal, the other diner went to the counter to loudly compliment the staff.

Today was not this Popeyes greatest day. Take a look at the pictures. Three chicken tenders, the combo cost nearly 9 dollars. We got the leftover tenders. We probably got a total of one tender if you put them all together you will see that three of them fit comfortably on the back of an iPhone. We also paid $2.29 extra for a small mashed potato. We got the one that came with the combo but the second one we paid for was not delivered. And a little bit of chicken tenders that we got had to be eaten without sauce because it was not provided even though it was ask for

These people don't answer their phone to save their lives. Like damn. What kind of food place doesn't answer their phone?

Our craving for fried chicken and biscuits got the better of us and the wifey and I stopped by. The food wasn't bad, and it did satisfy our craving. Also, the building looks like the interior has been recently updated, so points for that.

The service was pretty bad and the cashier seemed like it was a huge inconvenience to her just to take our order.
