The Red Fox is a bit out of the way, so you don't have to deal with the crazy traffic. There is limited parking by the front door, and additional parking down below or in the back. I went in December, and the decoration was gorgeous. Their lower dining room was all decked out in red and white for a Christmas party. There were lights and tasteful decorations all around the main dining area and the bar. It made dining a lot of fun.
The wait staff all worked cooperatively, and one of three people was paying attention to us at any given time. It made refills come really quickly!
The food was fun - the shrimp spiedini was an adult version of mozzarella sticks. The shrimp was well cooked and seasoned, and the cheese was real with no artificial taste. The homemade garlic focaccia was stacked like Jenga and had sauce poured on at the table. The bread had a crunch on the crust with a fluffy inside. And the sauce.... Oh yum, I wish it was bottled!Helpful 29Thanks 9Love this 28Oh no 0 - Christjne C.CT, États-Unis0316 mai 2024
Went for Mothers Day brunch. It was an epic disaster. Seafood tower was waterlogged from melting ice and had no shrimp (it was listed on the brunch menu). Food was cold and was sitting on top of the bar with no warning stereos. We became ill after eating just a small amount of the nasty food. Left hungry. Spoke with the manager who didn't seem to care and did nothing. At $60 a
Person it was the biggest waste of $ for a nasty cold buffet. Emailed the restaurant and the email was ignored. zero stars of it was an optionHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Melissa C.Hartford, États-Unis027454 mai 2024
Food was all amazing from the drinks, dinner, sides, dessert , etc. We got the filet mignon and it was delicious, along with the baked mac and cheese. Presentation on point. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive. Ambiance was romantic and felt fancy. Will definitely be back when the weather gets warmer as their outdoor seating area seemed very nice as well.

What a surprise! I hadn't been to this site since it was a Chinese restaurant. My teenage sons loved eating there and that was a long time ago. Now it is a super dining establishment where I just had another birthday lunch [I know it's October now but that's how I roll!].
My hostess said she recommended the Grilled Steak Salad from her last visit. The steak was delicious, medium rare as ordered. It was plated with mixed greens, fresh apples, kalamata olives, roasted red peppers, walnuts, crumbled gorgonzola and a balsamic vinaigrette.
What a great sunny afternoon treat. Service was very nice in the dining room and I sat with a view of the large patio surrounded with plantings. There was even a red fox on the wall to oversee the diners!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 1032368 févr. 2024

Where to start. Well, the menu that's on their website is nothing like the menu at the restaurant. It wasn't even close. The food we ordered was okay. Nothing spectacular or outstanding. I was really hoping it would have been. The staff were all quite nice and friendly, the ambiance was interesting. It was WAY over decorated for the holiday and there's a whole stuffed fox (taxidermy) mounted on the wall above the front windows and it doesn't look well cared for.
As far as our meals were concerned, the blackened chicken was chewy and a little rubbery, and not blackened, just grill marks. The gnocchi was over cooked and pasty. The calamari was great. I just wish the rest was. :/Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 21 juin 2023
I admittedly went here with skepticism as I've heard very mixed reviews.
We had reservations so we were seated promptly for our party of 8. We were seated in the "wine room" which offers a very luxurious ambiance. The chairs were very comfortable (nice larger leather chairs- not typical dining chairs that you find in restaurants) and we all had ample space around the table. This created a very inviting setting.
Our server was extremely attentive and didn't miss a beat.
We all enjoyed our cocktails and the bottle of Bordeaux that we shared with dinner. The wine list is impressive!
We ordered several appetizers for the table that were all delicious. The calamari and the bacon wrapped shrimp were fan favorites. I personally really enjoyed the beet salad.
I ordered the special which was a mushroom ravioli. It was a huge portion! The sauce was lovely. I enjoyed it because it was rich but not heavy like cream sauces can be.
My husband had the NY strip. Overall it was good but the cook on it was inconsistent throughout when it was ordered as a medium rare. It was still delightful but the temp should be spot on.
We ended dinner with double espressos and complimentary shots which was fun!
I'm glad we tried this place for ourselves and I would go back for sure.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Joe M.Myrtle Beach, États-Unis42220 avr. 2024
Great Italian food. A little out of the way for us but definitely with the trip. Great service and atmosphere

Visited here with my family over the weekend. I ordered the Ribeye ($65) and it comes with one side. Honestly, for the size of the cut and side I wasn't horribly disappointed with the price. The quality of the food was very good and the space was comfortable. The staff is personable and attentive. No complaints, we had a great evening.

Great brunch spot!
Took my mom out for sunday brunch. The red fox has a nice atmosphere with outside tables, potted plants, and manicured landscaping. The service is top notch. The menu had a lot of variety, but was a little more lunch than breakfast focused.
Mom loved the lobster bisque. We ordered a cup, but it looked like a bowl to me. She finished the whole thing. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly, with a runny yolk, and the Canadian bacon was THICK. As you can see from the pic, the presentation was 5 stars. The potatoes were OK, but could have been crispier and more flavorful. The pastrami sandwich was club style and tasty. Would have been improved with brown mustard rather than yellow, but that's minor. Give it a shotHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 023 mai 2023Avis précédentGreat brunch spot!

They made us feel special. Everybody was very satisfied with their meals and I think everybody in my party would give 5 stars. However, my bone-in ribeye was 3 stars.
Now, I love all steak and it was good, but I've been cooking a lot of beef on my own, honing my craft, and my standards are high. It was brought out sizzling on an iron pan - great presentation, but poor control over the level of doneness. It turned my rare steak to nearly medium (minus 1 star). You should sear up to 90 seconds per side and that's it. Don't cut it up on the iron and start turning the pieces to cook all sides when somebody orders rare. Second, I don't know why but the ribeye wasn't as tender as I'm accustomed to. I'm not splitting hairs, it was the toughest 1+" ribeye I've ever had. Normally, a ribeye melts in your mouth, but I had to chew this more than a tritip before I could swallow (minus 1 star). My overall score averages the service and the ribeye. I would eat here again and I think maybe my ribeye was an outlier.
