      It was the beginning of the NFL season and I wanted to dye my beard the Seahawks colors. So off to Sally's I went....

      I know nothing about dyeing hair, so I was in need of some serious help. As I entered the shop the doorbell announced my presence, but there was no person sight. Soon I heard footsteps. Around the end of an aisle a smiling young woman appeared. To my great fortune she had long straight hair, parted in the middle with one side bright red and the other bright blue. "Hooray, just the person I need to talk to", I thought to myself.

      As it turned out, the young bi-colored woman was indeed very helpful. She answered my endless questions with enthusiasm and patience. She also offered tips and suggestions that turned out to be very useful.

      In all, I feel m experience at Sally's was pleasant, supportive and greatly appreciated.

      Very disheartening visiting a community that is suppose to be all about embracing EVERYONE ion this community. African American hair product up front so cashier can watch your every move. Then I went to the hair dye section and cashier followed me acting like she she doing something on a shelf . I watch her out the corner of my eye moving the same products around in the shelf. FYI. ALL PEOPLE STEAL NOT JUST MINORITIES. AmericaKKK

      The most recent time I went there was a girl working who I think was Latina based on her slight accent, but she was awesome. Super Sweet and helpful and I loved her.
      But every other time I have to agree with all the other reviews, the employees are gossipers who make you feel unwelcome and stupid and for whatever reason I've seen them try and talk people OUT of buying products? Like you don't want to take the time to ring someone up or...?
      Upselling is obviously something their garbage manager doesn't teach lol

      I really wanted to install some twists this weekend but couldn't bring myself to purchase hair from these folks. There was this very awkward, know-it-all woman (I'm gendering them, they might identify differently) who seemed genuinely offended that I didn't "need" her help. She said, "I can help you." I was on the phone but removed my headset and said, "Thanks, I'm okay," and then she kept awkwardly starring at me and saying, "Well, I can." Da fuxk? It's not about you boo boo.

      Ugh. I will be ordering online instead.

      Best experience at Sally's ever. I can't remember her name but she had a darker complexion and darker eyes and hair. She needs a raise! She wrote down all the instructions and was extremely helpful when telling me about the process and products! Raise raise raise!!

      Originally I had a horrible experience here however its its totally changed and is great! Great service and products. Plus fun to engage with the girls that work there.

      Not horribly impressed with the customer service at this location. I routinely get ignored while the employees chat with one another, or there was the time when I got laughed at for buying purple dye because the clerk said I would never get my hair purple enough, then the time when I was told I didn't need bleach to get my hair pink. (I'm a redhead. I need bleach.)

      Wouldn't recommend going here for anything, sadly.

      All the employees at Sally's are always helpful! If they done know the answer, they will find out. I'm a DIY hair girl. The instructions they have given me to get the off the wall colors has been superb!

      Although I can only compare to a few other sally locations, this is the absolute worst one. I have been dealing with this location on and off for years now. In the beginning, it was small things, like wrong shade suggestions (NBD) and some non confident answers. Then a couple of years ago, the same lady who is mentioned in the preview comments (manager working there for years, she is the "color specialist) gives me the WRONG developer, which fries my hair and turns my hair GREEN. I immediately go in the next morning with hair to prove it, the "color specialist" is not in and the other incompetent ladies are unable to assist with a refund/suggestions to correct the issue. *i do want to point out that this takes life off of a persons hair, that you can never get back. *
      I go back when she is there, and still no refund, not sincere, and no care about helping ongoing local consumers.

      This brings us to today.

      Same manager working, and another representative on the floor. I went with the new gal who was truly beyond pleasant, great, and super nice. The only issue, is that she did not give my the correct coloring, which then lighted my ENTIRE hair color. I did not want to go lighter for my whole head. Now, with 5 mins to closing and living LITERALLY 5 mins away, we hopped into the car, and called them explaining what had happened and asked if they could stay open just 5 more minutes so we could correct this issue. The girl who helped me was really sweet, but she did have to transferred me to the manager (which guess who) for further help. Just like last time, the manager was incentive and didn't even want to help. As a previous store manager, when I had a customer call in right when closing needing something direr, we stayed open. I didn't complain to her about how "tired I am working from 9am-8pm and I want to get home."

      I can only imagine how a store owner would feel hearing that.

      I even asked if there was a way for her to pick a dark color, pay for it over the phone and then set the color outside the door. I sympathize with her situation, but the least she could do is work with me about her employee gave incorrect information.

      Over all, I wish this Sally's had a better manager who cared about her customers and would be more understanding. I am not sure if she is overworked, or bringing her personal life into work, but either way, somethings got to change. I do not understand how this location has lasted this long with her as the manager.

      To the store worker that was there about 10:00 on 9/1, you were awesome. I came in with my kids to get semi-permanent dye for my daughter, and to get something to enhance my girls friend's dye job I did. She wanted it brighter and more a certain color, so knowing a bit about hi-lift colors I asked her about them and she gave me a full rundown, and the differences in mixing, asked what color her natural hair was and what the result we wanted was. Chatted for a minute and then got it figured out. And then she helped me find some products to help my girlfriend get her hair repaired as a whole as the weather has been rough on it.

      Last night the girlfriend was ecstatic about the repair conditioner, and the daily use one. It's like she's got new hair now.

      I've been to several Sally locations but this one is top notch!
