We came here as a party of 5 and this place was pretty empty. The service was wonderful. The food however was mediocre at best.
Mango Salad: Very different. I personally wouldn't order again. It's spicy with a heavy dose of fish sauce.
Chicken Curry Puff: Flavorful. It was good.
Tom Yum Soup: It was okay. Not authentic nor the best.
Khao Soi: They literally butchered this dish. Everything about this dish was all wrong from the texture of the curry sauce to the type of chicken that's used.
Pancake: Pretty flavorful. I could taste the chives.
We also ordered a fish to share and it was just average.

Food was good but my experience was crazy idk what even happened.
Spicy pad see ew had the perfect amount of spice i like it spicy and it was super tasty! Got it with chicken and had veggies like chinese broccoli. My friend got the regular pad see ew. My other friend got tom yum soup, tried the broth which was also spicy. It was nice and hot and the noodles were semi thin tasted good. She really enjoyed it.
It was dead in there on a friday night and during our meal a homeless person came in. Sat next to me at a table and asked for some food. We were talking and did not engage so she literally took and drank my water. At that point we were all like what is going on and had to ask for a waiter to speak with her or do something about the situation. There was no one there who noticed her for a few minutes until we called them over and they took her to the kitchen/asked her to leave. We thought she was going to leave but she again walked to the other side of our table now and the staff asked her to leave. I did not get another glass of water until i asked for it and they did not say anything about the situation. Not that they needed to apologize but nothing was mentioned so it was a strange experience but its nyc guess i shouldn't be surprised.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Kelly C.Los Angeles, États-Unis86511414126 sept. 2019
First of all, I love Thai food. I traveled to Thailand and worked at a Thai restaurant before I might have higher expectations. This place was below average for me but it might be good enough if you aren't picky and looking for more authentic Thai food.
I ordered tom yum noodle soup and Thai sausages -- both were underwhelming. You can tell the tom yum was straight from the paste because the broth had no lemongrass fragrance and depth in its flavor profile. Noodles were also kind on hard. I asked for them to make it more spicy but the flavor profile still fell short.
Thai sausages are traditionally served with garlic and Thai chili but it didn't come with either of those here. I asked for fresh garlic but it never came. They did give me chopped chili which is another sign of their lack of authenticity since it's usually served with a whole chili.
A+ for service and cleanliness though!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 4 nov. 2017
A random find. We were walking around the area looking for something good to eat and stumbled into this place. A bit concerned at first since no one was in the venue for dinner but once we got sat, 2 other parties came in.
Nice staff and very friendly. Clean space, clean bathrooms. Modern feel and romantic if you want it to be. Can seat small and large groups.
Enjoyed the food here. We ordered a bit of everything from soup, noodles, rice, entrees, and even apps. All were good, nothing blow your mind but definitely cured our hungry stomachs. Would recommend for those looking for Thai in this area since it was slim pickings and others seemed to have subpar reviews.
Happy eating!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Neil F.Manhattan, États-Unis38811 févr. 2021
They seem like very nice people but unfortunately, their food is underwhelming. I ordered the lunch special which came with a choice of salad, spring roll or soup, and to my surprise they gave just one tiny Spring Roll - some special that is.
But as a former owner of a Thai restaurant and someone who has traveled to Thailand 3x, the Drunken Noodles were quite below average - very dried out, the sauce had no taste.
If you want excellent Thai food for the same price, I would suggest @9 which is on 9th Ave between 42 and 43rd. And when indoor dining opens up, its actually an adorable little place as wellHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tanvi P.Central Jersey, États-Unis37175707 oct. 2020
Highly recommend this spot for takeout in the Hell's Kitchen area. It's a bit further out on 10th Ave (which means a bit cheaper!) but still a lively area -- felt totally safe grabbing food late in the evening. They do have a couple of tables set up outside if you'd prefer, super cute with some fairy lights.
Takeout experience was very seamless, called ahead about 15min in advance and the food was ready just in time. They had contactless pickup with the bag waiting for me on a table towards the front. Everything was super clean and secure, they had the BEST smelling aloe-vera hand sanitizer everywhere and even wiped down the pen & card machine after use.
Food was excellent, we got the Pad Kee Mao, Pad Thai, and Basil Fried Rice. Everything was super flavorful and just as spicy as requested (spicy basil really is spicy!). Worth venturing out from 9th ave to check this spot out -- I will be back!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 15 mai 2019
We were seeing a show on a Thursday evening, and I was happy to find a traditional Thai restaurant nearby. My husband and I dined in, but you could tell that they mostly do take out orders. We saw the delivery guy walk in and out several times throughout our meal with huge orders. The food quality was very good, but it took a long time. Again I attributed this to all of the to go orders they must have been receiving, but even our appetizers took forever. The spring rolls were plentiful and tasty. I appreciated that the tom yum soup with shrimp didn't have an up charge either. Lastly my pad kee mao was delicious and a good portion size. My only suggestion is they focus as much on their dine in customers as take out. We were the only two in the restaurant for most of our meal, and I just expected a little faster service.

This place is a regular in our lunch rotation and it always leaves me satisfied!
Today I ordered the Garlic & Black Pepper Sauce Lunch Special ($10) with beef (+$2) and extra shrimp (+$3). It was delicious - I love gratiem prik thai. It didn't look like a lot of food, but I was surprisingly full afterwards. It came with nice slices of beef, the ingredients were fresh, and the vegetables were crunchy. The extra shrimp cost $3 and there were 4 of them, so a decent amount.
Everything I've tried from here has been fresh and delicious. I'll definitely be back!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 024 août 2017Avis précédentHad lunch delivered from here today and everything was delicious! I got the Spicy Basil Lunch with chicken and substituted brown rice ($9.95) and the Ginger Soup with chicken ($5). It was on time and extremely fresh. The soup was piping hot. For anyone who knows Filipino food, it reminded me a lot of tinola - yummy, wholesome and light, but plenty of chicken. The main was also very good, savory and surprisingly spicy enough for me - I was impressed.

Came back here knowing this spot has solid Thai food, and enough seating despite it being a small spot. Saturday mid-afternoon and they were able to accommodate 6 people no problem.
For starters, got the Crispy Calamari ($7) and Steamed Veg Dumplings ($5). The calamari was more shredded than the normal rings you'd expect. Still solid with the sweet chili sauce provided. Veg dumpling was a little bland but fine with the same sauce. Proceeded to order off the lunch special menu - $10 got me a chicken spring roll starter, chicken tom kha soup, and a chicken pad kee mao (actually ordered pork for that, but oh well). All the food is solid if not very good. Spring rolls are thinner than I'd expect, but for the lunch deal, you get enough. Tom kha is a bit too sweet, yet that balanced out the spicy noodle dish I ordered.
My original 3.5 star review stands. Service is fine and the food is enough to keep me full and satisfied at a reasonable price.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 029 janv. 2014Avis précédentSolid Chicken Pad Thai if not excellent. Will add more spice if requested but not over the top as some may do. (If you want it extra spicy, try the chili sauce).
This place has a big menu despite being a very small restaurant (although wasn't crowded when I was there Sunday afternoon). Not the best I ever been to, but since it's about 2 blocks from where I live, it gets four stars for convenience and service.
