I think over all our visit was okay. The were two rides that we weren't able to ride because they were out of service. On a positive, the line to enter the park moved pretty quickly even though it was snaking the parking lot.
My biggest piece of advice is buy your ticket online. It's $69 and you get the rest of the year for free. If you purchase your ticket at Customer relations it's also over $100 per person. Parking will also set you back $40.
A few of the rides were really faded and one had mechanical issues while we were waiting in line. There are a lot of employees so you're bound to find someone to help. The food and drinks are astronomical, but that is expected. I spent $12 on soft serve which was very sweet, but refreshing and the 20oz bottles of water are between $6 to $8. I also didn't see any water fill stations.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Information sur le responsable du commerce

I been going here for the last 3 years and the bad thing is that rules and how things are run are always changing and not for the better either. This park is very inconsistent on the rules. But since this is my home park, I will still keep going to this park and buying the diamond membership.
Here are the inconsistencies and changes currently
1. Parking Opening - The parking lot sometimes opens 1 hour earlier and sometimes 30 minutes. When they opened 30 minutes, this causes tons of delays and bottle necks.
2. Parking Spots - They now have the parking where they read your license plate, but did not work for us. The parking attendant used a garage door clicker to let us in. VIP parking is you have to go around and there is a major bottleneck going in there as it took us 10 minutes to find parking. Then, there is just a little small opening to get into and out of the VIP parking lot which can be confusing. There are people standing out there so make sure you have your Diamond Pass out on the App to show the employees
3. Park Opening - hit or miss with this one. They sometimes open the security gates 30 minutes before opening. Sometimes right at opening and this time 15 minutes prior. All I can say it was chaos
4. Single Rider Lines - they got rid of this across all of the rides. I am not so sure about the decision, but when I went to Aquaman. I was waiting for 15 minutes until someone told me they do not offer the single rider line anymore and was not obvious on the line. I am thinking they got rid of this as people took advantage bringing as I did remember seeing groups of 3 or more people wanting to get in at the same time and arguing with the staff even though it is a single rider line which means you there is a good chance you will not ride with your party
Experience - my time did go by quickly as I was with my wife for 10 hours there. The food can still use some help as it was very crowded. If you go to Johnny Rockets, the floor ended up being really sticky and gross and there was hardly any seating. There were some places that were closed especially the Mexican restaurant. Most of the rides were opened which was nice. Aquaman is still only running 1 boat and lines can move slow.
Overall, I did have a good time, but I truly believe they are the most inconsistent park with the rules as it keeps on changingHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Information sur le responsable du commerce

Hi Keven, We are sorry that you are disappointed but appreciate your feedback. We are committed to providing you with a great experience and hope you give us another chance in the future.
28 déc. 2022Avis précédentThis is my home park and I been here 5 times this year under new management and notice a constant theme across the parks in a bad way, well at least the three I been to.
The first one is when the park does open, you have to figure out which rides are open. The annoying part is going to the popular rides like Texas Giant and Titan and telling us to come back an hour later as they have started testing the rides. Then, walking around the park figuring out which rides are opened and 30 minutes later you finally found one which was Riddlers Revenge and I heard they just opened. Then, you find out that they are working with a skeleton crew of just 2 people per ride so even though the lines look short, they take around 5 to 10 minutes to load and dispatch riders. Then, on some rides they only run 1 train, but later in the day they increase it to 2. However, they do open more rides later in the day with more capacity.
The other downside is that Six Flags usually let us 30 minutes before the park opens at the front gate so everyone has time to buy tickets, go through security and then look at the shops. This time they opened exactly during park hours and it was a mad house going through security and took me 15 minutes to get my bag checked.
The other thing is that you buy your tickets at guest relations and not pick up your season pass as last year that is where I got my membership. They do not have a sign saying purchase your tickets here. You pick up your season pass where you scan your tickets which is nice now, but I wish they would have told us as I asked 2 employees and they told me to go to Guest Relations. But the process is really fast as you show them your piece of paper and they take your photo and give you your card. Unfortunately, if you get the diamond pass, it looks like a regular reason pass and you do not feel special.
Holiday in the Park experience was nothing compared to last year as I went last year during this time and the park was packed with more people. It was also more lively and they had the holiday parade which was neat. They had more lights and decoration. The reindeer was not working and were asleep. They did however added more food for you to try and a lot better than the October fest where they only had 2 stands for beer and the other for hotdogs. Due to low attendance, they did cancel the indoor shows as there was a person dressed up told us that the show was cancelled. They did have the carolers and I did see the Looney Tunes characters.
Overall, I had a fun time at the park with the rides and seeing the characters and I got to ride most of the rides. However, if you are going to increase the prices by 30%, you have to make the experience better and not worst. Food quality is the same as when I started being a season pass holder at Six Flags, but I did not mind paying $80 dollars food pass, but now they are charging $150 dollars for 2 meals and no a snack now. Last year I paid $100 dollars for the pass and I did not mind. If you are going to charge Cedar Fair prices and give us the same perks as they do, you have to top their experience or at least equal to that. Do not follow the Disney model of increasing your prices, but giving guests less.
My advice, if you treat the park like you do in Fiesta Texas, you will get the crowds and people will be spending money. I will write a separate review on that one.21 avr. 2022Avis précédentI been going to the park for a year now and probably been here 10 times, but my overall experience of the park has gone downhill since the new management has taken over and implemented their new plans.
Six Flags under Jim Reid-Anderson was known for the value park and even though they were clones, each park would get a new ride an attraction every year and look for to labor day for those announcements and then buy the discounted pass. I loved his enthusiasm .
Then under the previous CEO, Mike Spanos, there was not much change other than no labor day announcements and they had to cut costs.
So my other reviews I talked about the rides, but I will go ahead and talk about the updates and changes.
Under new management, they are implementing a new pass system. You can pay $80 dollar for 1 annual pass for a 1 park. The mid -tier is you get to visit all the parks for $160 and the 3rd one is for $300 access to all the parks, a couple of skip the lines and 10 meal passes.
I am definitely going to miss getting the meal pass as that was a good value, but I can understand if they lost money as it was $86 dollars per annual pass. But I enjoyed this as I do not have to worry about paying for meals whenever I go. Now you can prepaid for your meals for 4 for $40 dollars. I guess the story of the guy that went to the park almost every day broke out and how he saved on meals and well management was embarrassed so it will be the last year to use the pass.
Food wise was very disappointing as they keep on changing on what we can get. For our meals, they really went cheap as we have to pay extra for french fries now and only get a bag of chips. The BBQ was not as great as before where the meat was moist and mine was dry. My chicken sandwich did not look like the picture where they put coleslaw on there smothered with sauce. My sandwich only had the chicken breast some pickles and that was it. Some of the places were closed like the nacho place. But they promised us a new dining experience, but quality went down.
On a somewhat busy day, I have noticed most of the rides were closed which ended up having longer lines which was a major disappointment. Not so sure if it was because of staffing or cutting costs
Here were the rides that were closed
1. The Joker
2. Harley Quinn
3. Titan - heard it is opening back up sometime soon wondering why it was shut down for quite some time
4. River Rapids - understand why that one is close
5. Superman Tower of Power
6. Pandemonium
At least theses rides were open and running on 2 trains.
1. Texas Giant
2. Batman
3. Mr. Freeze
4. Skyscreamer
I am sure there are more rides that are closed, but I find it shady that they put Sky screamer as a new ride when all they did was removed some of the seats so you can lie down like Superman and ride. They should just say they offer a new experience on the ride.
I will still keep going to the park as well it is all paid for, but I am sure they might be losing more customers if they keep doing these types of stuff.10 juin 2021Avis précédentMy star rating has not changed since I been in the last 3 years I believe and after covid-19 I am ready to ride. This is after covid-19 where no masks are required. They let people in 30 minutes before the park opens which is nice. Security is a hit or miss as they checked my bag and then checked my brother girlfriend's bag. They have the mascots out and they usually hang out in the front of the park's entrance.
The rides to go on are:
1. Texas Giant - This is my favorite ride of the park
2. Titan - This ride has a nice drop, but the spinning helix has a lot of G's
3. Batman - clone good filler coaster
4. The swing - my brother and wife do not like this ride since it goes up high, but it is really fun.
5. Joker - 4D coaster, you can find these on other parks
6. Harley Quin - it is not bad as it looks as the spinning part you get used to it.
7. El Aserdo - log ride, not too bad. The ride is short, but it is because it is one of the first log rides. I am sure they are going to replace this with something better in the future
8. Train - it is fun you can ride it all day. Good if you need a break and play Pokemon Go
9. Roaring Rapids - you will get soaked and so will your shoes
10. Oil Derrick - you go up to see the views, it can get stuffy in the elevator though
Do not ride these rides
1. Mr Freeze - it was really rough now and shakes quite a bit and it is hot waiting for the ride.
2. La Vibora - line is usually long and moves slow. My tailbone hurt on this ride and was sore
3. Shockwave - the ride is showing its age for sure, 1 train runs and line moves slow and it is shaky after the 2 loops. I probably won't ride unless it is a walk on.
4. Runaway mountain - it is very jerky and shaky. Darkness is cool, but that is it
Food
We ate at only 2 locations, JB's BBQ and let me say it does not disappoint and very great. The BBQ is really great and better than Cedar Point BBQ. We ate at the taco place. I would get the "best brisket taco" It is an Indian Taco that you find in South Dakota. They also have blue bell ice cream which is a plus and then they have another ice cream shop, I can not recall, but you can get ice cream sandwichs. There are some places that you have to pay extra with your meal plan a $1 or $2 at most which is not too bad.
The bad are the bathrooms. They are definitely outdated and has a bad smell to them. I am not so sure if it is a sewage problem or not. But yeah it is pretty bad.
Customer service I would say it is so so.1 déc. 2016Avis précédentI went here 10 years ago and not much has changed since then except that the New Texas Giant. Mr. Freeze was unfortunately closed for the season and really wanted to ride the ride. We went here on a Friday and at first the park was not too busy, but then it got crowded as the night time approached.
The rides to go on are:
1. Texas Giant - I like this ride, but the line that day went by really slow. It is fun and much more smoother than the old texas giant. My back did not hurt at all. Wish it did have an inversion, but it was still fun.
2. Titan - Got to love the nice drop
3. Batman - same as the other ones I have been on
4. The swing - my brother and wife do not like this ride since it goes up high, but it is really fun.
5. La Vibora - this ride line does get long since it is in the front of the park and of course it is slow as well. It is bumpy
6. Superman tower of power - really fun, I do like it when they blast you up up and then you go down. Pretty fun and exciting.
7. Yosemite sam - ride was nice and cool, but there was water in our boat
Did not get to ride runaway mountain, cat woman whip, the riddler, unfortunately that line was super duper long like 90 minutes, judge roy scream. I wish the park hours were longer though.
What I did not like:
Lack of the bathrooms within the park. We had a hard time figuring out where to go. Also the bathrooms were small and tiny like 2 stalls and one urinal and it was in front of a big ride. The food lines were pretty bad as well as it was slow. Took us an hour to get food.
They definitely needed more mascots within the park though as there was a lack of them. - 12 mars 2024
Meh. As a theme park lover who was visiting the area we felt that we had to give it a try. When we got inside we were definitely underwhelmed. The park is small and many of the rides are old. We got there close to park opening. So that helped a lot with the lines early on. But I could see it getting very busy on a busy day as everything is so close together and the park doesn't have much.
Many rides were down which I've come to expect at six flags (I'm a diamond Passholder and visit Magic Mountain often.)
Overall the experience was fine enough. Most of the staff was very friendly or friendly enough. I might back just to try the rides that I didn't get to try. But I wasn't impressed at all especially knowing this is the first Six Flags park.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Information sur le responsable du commerce

Six flags is ok. I finally went after living across from it for almost 3 years lol.
Over all it's just alright to me. The lines were very long, the rides were few and far between.
I felt a bit scared to go on some rides because they were being operated by literal high schoolers.
One thing I would say is if you see a short line for a ride there is a reason. For example the aquaman ride you are going to get wet so if it's cold outside that's why no one is over there lol
The prices are super high, the layout is a bit confusing overall. The parking is expensive too.
I don't know if I would be back unless I really had a reason to like a birthday party or something.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0Information sur le responsable du commerce

The closest Six flags to us is 4 hours away so when we were heading to Dallas and I saw Six flags was 30 minutes away I was excited!
The day we initially planned to go it was too cold so we ended up going on New Year's eve which probably made it busier.
First of all it is annoying that the prices online are not what is reflected at the park. It said parking would be $50 but when we got there it was $40 which is still ridiculous for parking.
Prices for park entry vary (I assume based on day of week and how busy they think it will be). I was going to buy online (good thing we did not) but the $50 in fees was too much. Fast forward to day of, we get there and the there is a booth/building to the left of security with a long line so I go on the app and buy tickets. It was $57 per ticket (no difference for adults vs kids) so $171 then we had to pay $14.92 in tax and a $9.99 processing fee (FOR DIGITAL TICKETS THAT A COMPUTER PROCESSES) and it was $195.91.
We get into the park, come across rides and hop on! I think "oh wow this is great." Until we got to La Vibora aka the parent trap. The line moves at a crawl. It has rows and rows of winding back and forth then go up some steps. We were in line for an hour and a half!
The other ride with a long wait was new texas giant which was an hour.
Because of the long wait times we rode 9 rides in about 6 hours. We did not upgrade to the flash pass as it was almost $200 extra per person.
It was fun to ride some thrill ride coasters with lower wait times than in the amusement parks close to us but I don't feel that it was worth it for what we paid.
For the runaway mine train they need to pair with a local chiropractor for you to get an adjustment after it. This ride is ROUGH. It hurt my back so bad. My husband had back and shoulder pain after it. The people behind me said it had never been that rough.
I can't see being back in the area and if I were I wouldn't spend time here unless I had an extra $1000 laying around to upgrade my family to fast passes. If you have low expectations and don't want to ride a lot of rides it may be worth it.
I can't really speak to anything else at this park as all we did was ride rides. We ate no food, drank no drinks (brought our own water). Staff interactions were meh (mostly young teens/college kids at rides who were more interested in socializing with their peers than working). We did not go in any gift shops. Bathrooms were the only other things we went in and most were clean but they are super run down.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Information sur le responsable du commerce

I brought my son and nephew here during spring break and i was actually disappointed for the first time in many years. Six flags was a staple of my childhood and I love taking my kids as well. However, due to inflation the cost of taking a family of 4 to the park in my opinion wasn't worth it anymore. Once you tally up parking, tickets, food, fast passes etc you're looking easily at $500+ for a day. That's if all the rides are working. This was the cheapest trip I've done because we stayed in a hotel nearby to walk over. We opted not to do fast passes and average wait time for rides was 30mins-1hour. The food, for two sodas, two hot dogs, and two cheese fries was $100. The bigger rides weren't running which limited the experience and made wait times go up for others. Overall not the day I expected and we left early to go back to the hotel to swim.

It's the first day of spring break, multiple rides are closed, multiple restrooms are closed and food places too. It's like you guys know it's going to be busy so why? I am a gold plus member and I haven't had a good experience here since covid. Save up and go to Disney or universal instead
Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 031 juill. 2019Avis précédentI've been here before for fright Fest and it was super busy and we didn't get to do as much as hoped so decided to go back on a weekday at the end of summer and were so glad we did. We arrived when the park opened so we got parked near the entrance and the lines inside the park for rides were no longer than 15 mins wait time. We have a gold membership so we had free parking and we brought our refillable cups we purchased previously and that was a huge money saver especially in the August heat. We are food before we arrived because we find that it can be a bit pricey for simple choices but we did get a soft serve ice cream to cool down and it was delicious. The rides were awesome, big rollercoasters like the titan and Texas giant actually made my belly turn over from how high the drops were and they were super fast. The only reason I can't give it a higher rating is because it was over 100 degrees and even though we had short wait times we felt dizzy from the heat due to having little shaded wait areas and hardly any fans or cold air. However, we still had a fun day and look forward to going back again before the end of the season

yeah, it was great but every ride I tried to do clothes down for about 30 minutes I had to wait about an hour and 30 minutes trying to ride Batman and Mr. freeze and I couldn't even get to ride Batman because it shut down.

As far as Six Flags theme parks goes, I really enjoyed this one. There are a variety of attractions with a nice array of snacks and restaurants as well. The good majority of employees tend to be helpful. Here are a few issues:
-One of the upside down rides has a ridiculous entrance (can't recall the name now) with the way it is positioned.
-Some of their ride operators are anal retentive. I recall being in the log flume line but did not realize I was in the standby queue. As I proceeded to the front, I advised the guy my knee has some recent issues (I slipped/fell on a cruise a months ago). He barked "Go back to the front!" Just unnecessarily rude. When I returned to this attraction later, I did what someone advised me to do: enter from the back entrance since I had a handicap pass (this I got from guest relations upon a staffer's recommendation). His response? "Oh you went in the wrong line" and yet this guy considered sending me back to the entrance. Is that log flume ride always staffed with egotistical ride operators possessing a God Complex? Bizarre!
Otherwise, it was a solid experience. I'd go back if I ever visit Arlington again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Information sur le responsable du commerce
