The Salon at Wynn Las Vegas

Skye did an amazing job on a cut and some babylights. My girl at home was unavailable and the salon at Wynn had an opening while I was here for a conference. Skye is friendly and efficient. She makes good conversation. I get compliments on my hair all the time because of Skye.

Picture on the right is what I asked for, pic on left is what I walked out with $488 later not even a cut, just color. The gentleman that did this I think his name was Carlos, Hispanic older gentleman said he had worked there for many years. He stopped in the middle of my hair appointment to buy new scissors from a vendor who came in. 20% tip automatic which is not what I would have left him. I had it color corrected when I got back home. I was told he gave me hot roots. Not pleased at all. Hair done at salon on Feb 21, 2024.

I booked both the bridal hair updo and makeup service before my wedding and overall I am very happy with the service.

Located on the second floor of the Wynn hotel next to the gym, the salon has a glamorous atmosphere and talented artists.

My bridal appointments started with hair updo which lasted for a little over a hour. My stylist washed my hair and blew dry it before curling my hair. For my makeup, my makeup artist Jennifer was extremely talented and skillful. She was able to conceal all my sunspots from outdoor exercise and transform my look to a soft glamorous look that was perfect for the photo shoots.

My two appointments took about 2.5 hour and it was a bit tight before my wedding. However, it was well worth the effort and the cost.

As for the cost, the bridal updo was $145 and the makeup was $140. The cost was very reasonable for the level for service especially for the makeup.

Highly recommend!

Sarah gave me a 24k hair treatment, trim, and also did a balayage for me!

She's super fun and did an amazing job on my hair.

I booked an appointment here to get my hair done for my birthday since I was staying at the Wynn. I just asked for simple curls... my hair went flat shortly after, all I had done was get lunch. After an hour I went back and told them my hair lost the curls and it looks like I never got my hair done. They said I would have to pay agin and they did not have any availability for someone to do my hair. For the price I paid I expected better... Never again.

Heads down- one of the best hair salons I had been!
I was here at least 4-5 times. I come here every time, we stay in Wynn or Encore. Although it's slightly pricey, but it worth it! My favorite stylist is Lana Crystal- she is amazing! She always makes my hair looking as a superstar. Lana always asks about your vision and style you want. However, once I asked her to surprise me and...she did such a great job that even my boyfriend said "WOW". Highly suggesting Lana!
Another person who I had tried there, it's an Asian stylist, probably Tom or John, but I don't remember his name. He did my hair twice and I would go with him again if Lana would be busy.

Had the most amazing and my first hot lather shave! Highly recommend gentlemen! Pamper yourself and indulge in a day to yourself. Jessica was great!!

The facilities are nice, but that's about it. Their prices are absolutely ridiculous and their service is very sub-par. Got a pedicure over the weekend for 170 dollars, that's right 170! So what's included? It's 20 dollars to remove shellac and 40 to reapply! 90 is the service and you're stuck leaving a massive tip.

All this said, my toes are already chipping. Avoid this place.

ZERO STARS- don't waste your time. This place is a joke, like I've had better service at a beauty school. I had a flawless manicure and needed to come in for an emergency repair and nail trim.
