Went for their monday burger & beer deal! Got the veggie burger w a side of salad. Was surprised that their salad was not a sad salad but a not sad one! (See pic)
Would get their veggie burger again.
Got their wings twice.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 293685393121 mars 2023
This is a great spot if you're a beer lover as they have a huge selection of beers available. I'm not a beer fan, but I can appreciate the variety. I've been to this place several times and I must say that the service is very good. The severs are friendly and welcoming!
The menu here has your typical bar food. I've tried the salads, French fries, and recently the bison burger. I think the food here is fine, but nothing really stands out to me. My friend had the French onion soup, and she really liked it.
This place gets major props for being fully wheelchair accessible. They have a ramp in the back, and my friends who are in wheelchairs are able to get in with no issues, which is not the case in most restaurants.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 28 févr. 2023
Great place for grabbing a beer and some bites!
They have a nice variety of beers, including Belgium beers. We had the ORVAL and WESTMALLE TRAPPIST TRIPEL. Even served in their respective glasses! The OLD SCHOOL NACHOS are very good and come in a full large plate.

Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Thomas F.Manhattan, États-Unis1041122 mars 2024Avis mis à jour
Stopped going to Third Avenue Ale House before Covid. The place reminded me of an East Village dive bar; depressing, cluttered, with an indifferent, slovenly waitstaff. Happy to say things have changed. The place has been cleaned up---kitchen was moved to the rear. Our bartender was dressed appropriately. She was engaging and attentive. Another thing I appreciated was that the music was on even though a sporting event was on the TVs. TAAH is now a welcoming, neighborhood pub. Good job.

Made the mistake of ordering a "Philly Cheesesteak" for lunch. Simply awful. If you like a soggy roll with peppers and onions--good luck finding the "steak"--this menu item is for you. Also I noted the bar area was "cluttered" which led me to believe that it was not clean. Add to that the very attractive bartender who was outfitted for manual labor and not serving food to the public, I think I'll give his joint another year before giving it another try.

28 janv. 2015Avis précédentStopped in with a group for Happy Hour and realized they don't have one. We had one round: A poor beer selection. And $6.00 for a beer? It's $2.50-$3.00 at Happy Hour in this hood.
23 janv. 2013Avis précédentGreat potential at this new pub. After three visits, I'll chalk up the disorganized service, and odd food--deviled eggs overpowered with curry?--to them finding their place in the hood. I plan to visit often.

This place is okay, we came and were able to sit right away. The server was nice but the place is super loud with music (and not the best music) so it's hard to talk. The beers were warm, slightly cold at best. The quesadilla was okay- nothing that wowed me. And the truffle fries were good.

Great beer selection on tap, including local NYC and regional beers and very tasty wings. The happy hour prices and late night BOGO deals are good but confusing to order as they only apply to certain beers

Great bar to watch football on a Sunday afternoon! The check vaccination cards AND IDs so make sure you have both. All of the games were on different TVs and the audio was of the NY game. Bartenders were busy but pleasant! They have a bunch of draft beers; I really enjoyed the Octoberfest draft. Menu is on the smaller side; typical bar food. We ordered nachos with pulled pork and wings! The nachos were massive; definitely enough for 3-4 people or two hungry people to share. The wings were average; lukewarm when they were served. The Buffalo sauce was between mild and moderate for me.
Overall, definitely check them out if you're looking for a good sports bar to watch Sunday football! I'll be back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Katherine M.New York, États-Unis06925 janv. 2024
