I had a pretty good experience here; I've been to Vans outlets in California and they're usually a nightmare of disorganization, kids running around, ugly clothes and just general chaos. This store was well-laid out, had pretty sweet inventory, and the prices were right - they had a Buy One Get One 50% Off sale going (which I imagine is a perpetual sale) that brought the prices down to something manageable. Let's not forget the lack of sales tax up here!

If you're just looking for any ol' shoes, the deals aren't fantastic ($30-$60+ per pair - this is not Payless Shoe Source). If you're a true-blue Vans wearer, you're aware that these guys will last you quite a bit longer than the knockoff version at Target - trust me, I've been through at least 10 pairs of those and they are not the same.

I grabbed a pretty sweet pair of tropical-print Classics for $35, making my boyfriend's $30 pair go down to $15. $50 for two pairs of shoes that typically retail for twice as much? I'll take it.

If you're in the area and are looking for a pretty decent selection of Vans, check this place out.

My new kicks! These + a pair for my bf = $50

Love this store. Pretty much one of the widest selections of Vans shoes in the state. Being an outlet location, they carry the typical line of classic Vans styles you'll find at the Vans retail stores you'll find in most of the major malls. However, there's a nice twist, you'll also find a huge selection of random sale shoes, organized by size (sale shoes don't have full size runs, randomly sorted) and they are always buy 1 get 1 50% off. If you're a fan of Vans, it's pretty easy to come up on some great styles and at a awesome price here. They always have the sale shoes racks completely stocked and it's interesting finding different styles in your size every time you visit.
They also have the same randomly sorted styles theme with racks of men's and women's apparel marked down, and almost always BOGO 50% off.

Definitely worth checking out if you like Vans. They will always have the classic Vans shoes you want, but chances are that you'll be able to find a pair or 2 of shoes off the sale rack that are such a good deal you won't be able to pass them up.

I drove the hour-ish drive from Vancouver to do an exchange for a pair of shoes for my mom from Christmas and we arrived about an hour before closing and Jose behind the counter made the exchange painlessly easy and quick. We were in and out with the new pair and back on our way home.

Very disappointed at this particular store. My family and I have been coming to this outlet for awhile now and we have always had a good experience UNTIL today. My mom and sister went into Vans to check out some shoes and when they were about to pay, the cashier told them that they should get another pair since there was a " sale" going on with orange tags and that if you got two pairs with both orange tags, it would be both half off. Since my mom and sis only grabbed three pairs, the cashier told them to get another pair so they could take advantage of the sale more. My mom told my sister to quickly go back and get another pair and kindly told the cashier that he could ring up the next customer at the time being if he'd like and the cashier said he would be okay with holding their items at the counter till my sister gets back and that he would help the next customer. My mom moved to the side of the line to wait for my sister and let the customer behind her pay up first. As the first cashier was finishing up with the customer that my mom let in front of her, the other cashier told my mom " ma'am are you ready to pay"? My mom responded, yes but he has my items and I'm waiting for my daughter to get another pair since he told us to. She quickly told my mom " No you guys are gonna have to go back in line since you're not ready". My mom replied" well we were ready but he told us to get another pair". She then continued to say" No you guys need to go back in like because we don't want the other customers angry". The cashier who initially helped my mom and sis out did NOT say anything(even tho they are right next to each other can hear his fellow cashier telling my mom this) and just continued to ignore my mom. Being the bigger person, my mom just agreed to go back at the very back of the line where they waited another 30 minutes . At this point, my mom was very angry and couldn't comprehend why they had to go back in line when the cashier was the one who instructed them to get another pair ASSUMING he was going to wait for my sister to quickly get another pair or even ring them up when he was finish with the other customer. Our biggest issue is that there was no clear communication given that if you were to get another pair, that you would have to go back in line and wait an additional 30 mins to pay. My mom ended up speaking to their supervisor who was super understanding and agreed that the cashier should HAVE waited for my sister to get back and should NOT have sent them back at the end of the line, since he was the one who suggested this action. Anyway, we're probably not going to go back to this Vans outlet ever again because of the POOOOR customer service that their staff demonstrates. Looking at Google reviews, a lot of people have experienced bad customer service from the staff here as well. So maybe management and leadership needs to re-evaluate and do some further training on Inter personal skills with their staff. I believe that if you work in customer service, you should always be an effective communicator! What a mess!

Tall blonde dude with the piercings (sry didn't catch your name) was super chill. Made it a great experience. Always love coming here, but today I left with an extra big smile.
