As a College student on a budget, i could easily afford for new clothes, I love how they utilize their shop so that they could provide a wide variety of clothes. Plus the staffs are very welcoming.Honestly would go here again

I was walking around Kensington neighbourhood and saw this store. I walked in and was immediately impressed by the variety of clothing and the abundance of each. I expected that they would only have a limited selection of each.
The store is well organized and clean, though it could feel cramped in places. The service was good. There were many customers, but I avoided people in my pictures.
After browsing around, I was told there is another floor! Impressive. Even more categories of clothing.
There is no free WiFi. The store is not wheelchair accessible. There are no customer washrooms. There is paid and free neighbourhood street parking.

Located in the famous Kensington Market neighborhood, this thrift shop is trendy without being overwhelming, clean, orderly, with just a hint of chaos. The prices are a little higher than what I would normally pay to thrift, but they had some cool items (lots of denim) and friendly staff.
I didn't get anything this time, but it's the kind of place you'll want to come back to for a more thorough lay of the land. I had fun sifting through the colorful abundant racks and sometimes, that's all you're looking for in a thrift experience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mary C.Old Toronto, Toronto, ON0208 janv. 2025
We Loved Vintage depot. Beautifully laid out Clothes, great selection, presented well and in great condition. The value was impressive.
Leon & Isabella were working the day we visited, they were so helpful. We bought some items that we will treasure. Definitely recommend Vintage Depot... we will be back!

This is a great secondhand store..not sure exactly what is vintage in here. However the racks have tons and tons of stuff - right now overflowing with winter jackets. I saw Guess, Danier, Banana Republic, etc for so cheap! And they all looked in excellent condition
Some of the other stuff like the sweaters and dresses looked ok...but a store like this requires you to dig and sort through everything to find a few key pieces. Sometimes you walk away a winner and sometimes you don't. That's just how it is.
Will definitely continue to take a peek and see if I get lucky here in the future.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Anna L.Buffalo, États-Unis26313 août 2017
I LOVE this place and I've only gone there once. The owners are so nice and helpful, the place is air conditioned and quiet, and the clothes! They sell a rack of stuff like Coach, Canada Goose, Burberry, etc. for a lot cheaper than the retail price. Everything is well organized and you're sure to find at least one good find in there! Favorite thrift store by far

Great store! It is a pretty small space, but they utilize every inch of it and break a lot of the inventory down by item and color. Great selection of vintage jerseys (hockey, baseball, football, etc). I scored a vintage authentic Ryan Miller Sabres jersey for $37USD. Best vintage find...EVER.
Friendly staff and a huge selection!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Melissa J.Toronto, ON7532711721 nov. 2008
This place is adorable! It's one of the few places in Kensington that hasn't jacked up their prices to make a bit of a killing on all the 16-year-olds who scour the market on PA days (a-hem Exile?).
They have a great selection of footwear in the front and racks and racks of fun stuff to sift through. And a whole side of the store is devoted to dresses -- For Prom? Halloween? To wear to work? Whatever, buy a dress! I saw one here once that I totally regret not buying to this day. That pink dress haunts my dreams.
I think this place is owned by a Japanese family, they are all super nice and friendly, and I love a place that appreciates your business and leaves the snobbery for elsewhere. So skip all the other Kensington crap and come here first.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Dardana M.ON, ON241536714 nov. 2008Prem's
I am a VIntage Depot addict (Bloor & Lansdowne location). To be fair, I am something of a thrift store obsessive in general; but in particular, in this area of town which I refer to as...the holy thrift trinity? the axis of great outfit options? the used-clothing district, maybe?--
-- as I was saying, in a location that finds this treasure trove sandwiched in between both a Goodwill and a Value Village, all within a couple blocks (bestill my thrifty heart), I still find it unique in its wealth of options, very reasonable prices- comparable with any Goodwill location- (I know about the price shift inherent in an item's evolution from "thrift" to "vintage", though I never participate in it), and very amiable owners.
My first experience there was unequivocally majestic, endowing me with my favourite cardigan and a perfect blue prom dress, and the only times I leave empty handed are due to not waiting long enough in between visits. They carry a good selection of sweaters and t-shirts, a wide variety of jackets, and a larger-than-normal percentage of items that still bear their original price tags. I might be alone in this, but I get, as a veteran vintage shopper, a considerable thrill in seeing those decades-old labels. Why? It's a mystery.
There is also an inordinate amount of Mickey Mouse-emblazoned merch, which has started a similar trend in my t-shirt collection (only in his old-school incarnation, of course). Oh, and if you're looking at a rack of yet-to-be-priced goodies and the man behind the counter tells you to come back tomorrow, listen- cuz the next day they'll be gone.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Clarice O.Concord, États-Unis522593119419 août 2014
Loved this vintage store!
It is a small store, but they make good use of every inch. They have a great selection of clothing from different eras and their products are priced just right. The staff was quite pleasant as well.
If you are in the Kensington Market area and looking for a vintage dress, do check out Vintage Depot.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
