We usually go to the Pittsburg WinCo since it's close by where we live, but we were in the area and we needed to get some groceries, so we stopped at this location.
Now I have visited this location many times in the past, so it's been a while since we went there. But they had the usual stuff other WinCos usually carry, so that's a good thing.
What bothered us more is the prices. How did meat end up being $12? Wasn't it less than that?
We got some food from the Deli section as well. I personally don't recommend getting food from the Deli though; it had a weird aftertaste to it.
Also, the layout was rather hard to navigate, but I guess because we were so used to the other location.
Now if only WinCo can hire baggers who can help bag groceries for the customers, since i suck at bagging...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sadig A.Castro Valley, États-Unis116530613351 mars 2024Avis mis à jour6 check-ins
My recent visit to Winco in Brentwood continues to leave me thoroughly impressed with both the affordability and the level of overall service. The competitive prices made it a cost-effective option for picking up groceries and other essentials, allowing me to stretch my budget further without sacrificing quality. The staff members were attentive and friendly, going above and beyond to assist me in finding everything I needed. One standout feature of this Winco location is the consistent deals on energy drinks, which provided an added bonus to my shopping experience. With its great prices, helpful staff, and enticing deals on various brands of energy drinks, Winco is always my go-to supermarket for all my local shopping needs in the Brentwood area.

WinCo always has great prices, as well as huge produce selections, ready made sushi and chicken, large soda and drink selection... and very nice staff. Highly recommend :)

The bakery manager who I'm referring to is Rebecca! I just wanted to update the review to give this wonderful woman credit for her kindness and service :)

I visited the bakery because I needed a couple of cakes for a family event and they had a lot of decoration options and the price was so reasonable. The choices are a bit limited- only vanilla or chocolate cake choices- but I really can't complain for the price.
I am so sad that I cannot remember her name, but I believe she is the manager of the bakery. I really wanted to do a surprise gender reveal at this family party and wanted colored frosting inside the cupcakes to reveal if I was having a boy or girl. The manager was lovely and made an exception and it was just the nicest gesture. The cakes and cupcakes turned out lovely. We are so thankful for the amazing desserts and customer service. - Olivia M.Concord, États-Unis8855 déc. 2023
I have never had a bad experience at winco. Employees are always nice, prices are good and I haven't broken a nail from bagging my own stuff

only review " Winco brand Croissant packing", I never like plastic but not much choices, markets now are full of products that switched from glass jars, containers, bottles... to "plastics" or " styrofoam".
For food used, mostly will only consider plastic #2,4 & 5 not plastic #1, 3, 6, 7 & BPA free #7.
Honestly Winco's 6 pack fair priced ($4.48 ) croissants are yummy good, but because it packed in a clear plastic bag with a black tray (hard to tell the material? plastic #6 SP {styrofoam plastic}?
Truly hope more human recognized how STYROFOAM & PLASTIC can impacted to heath & to our Mother Earth + everything livening on it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 02 nov. 2022Avis précédenthappy I was able to find Judy's organic eggs still available for me to buy, price at $5.20.

Always find what I need here. They have good deals here. Their fried chicken/wings are the bomb and the price is good.

The cold pasta could be better. I picked up way too many & now I'm stuck with bland cheap meals I won't eat. The quality is no existing. Meatballs taste like fake meat. Mash potato bowl, dry chicken, lime patatos.
If there is sauce they skip on it. Wish I could get my money backHelpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Cynthia G.Rio Vista, États-Unis070623 sept. 2023
Prices on food items are good, but toiletries and such are priced too high. Store brands beat W/M's. String cheese from W/M is tasteless whereas WinCo's is quite good. Watermelon tasted like a cucumber; little color, flavor or sweetness. A waste of money.

This review is for preorder bulk items.
This is the second year in a row that I've preordered 750 ice cream sandwiches several days in advance and they did not get processed. I get things happen, but call to notify us that the order didn't come in. This time the employee said that there was no order placed. So we cleared out the shelve of 2 kinds of ice cream sandwiches. Lesson learned, preorder through Safeway.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 029 déc. 2010Avis précédentI'm a fan for everything but meats and apperently Kosher stuff.
I agree that for some reason people leave their carts and don't watch out for others or are remotely polite to others. I don't understand why it rarely happens at Safeway or Trader Joes, but here it does. It drives me nuts having to wait for people that park their carts in the middle of the isle and stand in front of the shelf looking and not noticing that they are taking up the whole isle and people can't get by.
As for the meats were were told they aren't the best quality so we decided that we will just have to go to Food Max , TJ's or Safeway to get that. As for the Kosher stuff I was shocked to find during Hanukkah that they don't have even a little section. There is a huge isle of Mexican and Chinese goods, but not one package of Latkah mix. Shame on you! When I asked someone he looked at me and asked what it was. Really? Then when I told him he said "It seems like something you can make from scratch." Duh, but he didn't know that I have a toddler and a newborn at home and shredding potatoes and onions is not something I want to do.
All in all, I go for everything, but meats/seafood. Some veggies are hit and miss, but that can happen anywhere.
There's some good people watching when you go there too.
