WinCo Foods

So when it comes to groceries this is one of the best place to come. I have only been to these WinCo grocery store recently. Myself and wife love it!!! The food is fresh and they have a quality at a good price!! It is like a big warehouse where you can get a lot of food at really cheap prices. This is a store for the working class, where your dollar goes a long way. They have top brands here, their produce is fresh and plenty of it. This was my third time going to WinCo. They don't have many around. So yeah we drove out of our way to save some money and it was well worth it. If you never been to a good place where it is so laid back come here. We are now frequent buyers now!

Good variety and prices. Fresh produce. Bulk foods section is cool. Customer service desk is always helpful. Ambiance - you bag your own groceries at checkout. Open 24 hrs - is the crowd smaller?

I tried to order a 24 piece chicken meal. The guy told me to wait 25 minutes for the next batch when the chicken in the glass case was full. There was no one else in line. I've been to West Valley and Midvale multiple times and got at 24 piece with no problems and they never have as much already ready as Orem winnco did. 100 thumbs down for you Orem winnco.

My review may be a little harsh but I was really hungry my bad. I may change my review later because they did have a lot of staff on hand but I'm a fat kid still but hurt about my chicken

today I thought my car was stolen. I had 2 amazing male employees help me find my car. regardless of my stupidity and not paying attention to where I parked they were kind, helpful and non judgmental. They put my groceries in the freezer etc while I panicked and was on phone with 911. Long story short they walked every car isLe and checked camera footage...! My point here is customer service was next level today. I'll be coming back over and over again and this time I'll take my headphones off when I park my frikin car. I'm an idiot. winco was gracious! Plus, they had "almost" every grocery item I needed today.

Good prices!! Expect it to always be busy, but it's WinCo :) good stuff! Staff is generally really helpful if you need anything

They need more cashiers especially on Sunday's it's so crowded and they have workers walking around aimlessly instead of jumping on and being a cashier it's pathetic and poor customer service. It might be cheaper here but any shopper would feel claustrophobic. Apparently every Sunday at WinCo is Mexican Sunday because that's where they all go

Good sized store with a great selection of produce and meats. Love their spices and the fact you can get as little or as much as you need in a bag. They are always stocked well in their bakery and produce sections. Great prices.

LOVE Winco! I especially love the bulk spices, beans, etc. Plus the produce is always fabulous.

I came from vegas n have been looking everywhere for oriental stuff. I came here n they have everything. They even have yucca.

It was my first time at WinCo. I spent an hour and a half filling up bags of bulk items..... (beans, pasta, chocolate chips, candies, spices, etc.) THEN, I rang everything up at a self-serve, which took a while, but then my credit card wouldn't work. I tried 4 or 5 times before an employee told me they don't accept credit. What?!

I get that I should have seen the "no credit cards" sign when I walked in, but THIS IS 2021, and I wasn't really looking for any "no credit cards" signs. I didn't have a funded debit card or cash with me (which is also my fault, but I never use either of those things), so after embarrassingly holding up the line, I brought my order to the lady by the self-checkout counters. I spent 40 minutes there, calling my husband who didn't pick up, and trying to transfer money over to my debit card. My bank wouldn't transfer money immediately, and the ATM wouldn't pull cash out of my credit card without a PIN.

I live 30 minutes away, but the employee wouldn't let me put my order on hold to buy it the next day when I came back. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but remember I had spent an hour and a half filling up bags of bulk items. EVENTUALLY, after 40 minutes of embarrassment and a hungry stomach (it was like an hour past my usual dinner time), my cousin Venmoed me enough to pay with my Venmo debit card. Thank goodness. I was so happy to be out of this place.

Aside from this embarrassing, annoying experience, I have returned to WinCo 3 times. There are some crazy good deals on random items sometimes, and there is an awesome bulk section. But besides that, this place is really just mediocre.

I only really come here for the bulk foods, and the credit card issue stops me from doing more shopping here. I wonder if those saved transaction fees are really worth it...
