Happen to be in North Fork in Feb. First time coming out here during off season. Decided to stop at Woodside Orchards for some ciders and donuts because I'm a fan. I always stop by at Woodside Orchards every time I'm out at North Fork.
I had a great chat with Katy (sp?) as I was the only customer. Honestly, it was a wonderful experience in comparison to the crowd and traffic during the summer/fall.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Barbara K.West Islip, États-Unis625161645 nov. 2023
Delicious cider donuts ... hot and fresh out of the oven! Also enjoyed the cider tasting. Worth the wait on the long line!

Loved this place! Will definitely come back here for apple picking next year. Wasn't crazy busy and there were actually apples left on the trees to pick despite this year being a "bumper crop" year. They also have ciders available and apple cider donuts!! Much more relaxed than Harbes and some of the larger farms.

I have been to their tasting ro twice, once for cider and apple cider donuts and the second time only for apple cider donuts. Ciders are very good. We got a flight of their sweeter ciders and enjoyed them outdoors. Everything was good. Their apple cider donuts are bomb, best I have tasted so far.

Awesome hard cider selections from a super sweet selecting to dry to a tad sweet to flavored ones like cinnamon and a ginger! Plus they offer delicious chewy giant chocolate chip cookies and other baked goodness too. Staff is really cool and love that this spot is family owned and has ample outdoor seating and parking. So far we've tried the blackberry - mango, the tradional sweet apple and the cinnamon and all were perfect! Loved their reasonably priced flight option of 4-6 cider choices but don't forget you need to buy some food to consume them there. Definitely worth a return for years and years to come!

If you like (hard) cider and you live on LI then you probably know Woodside. But maybe you didn't know Woodside Orchards actually has two locations (and maybe you did and that last statement means nothing to you).
I came here a year ago and noticed I couldn't find a check in for the spot. But at the time I was gun-shy to adding it on Yelp. A year later? Let's do this!
This Woodside Orchards has everything the other location has, though it's set up a tad differently. Here things are a little more focused on the nonalcoholic apples, meaning you'll find those lovely donuts as well as pies, cider (sans alcohol) and plenty of apples (on a tree or not).
So if you prefer your fruit still growing, you can pay (cash) to get an empty bag and go into the apple groves to stuff that thing until you've got macintoshes up to your chin. It was worth it the past two times and I'd probably do it again on my next trip.
Speaking of trips, both times I was here it wasn't mobbed. It is a little early in that "pick things off trees" season, but if you're not feeling the Harbes crowds, this spot more than suffices.
Overall, (this) Woodside Orchards gives you that quintessential apple experience you look for out east. With awesomely tasty cider (hard or not), and plenty of edible apple options (along with picking), this is a perfect alternative to your autumn needs. Apple on!Helpful 11Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - 24 sept. 2017
Great fall spot on Long Island for apple cider tasting, apple picking and apple cider donuts! The entrance is a bit sketchy though. It looked so abandoned that we almost missed it but nonetheless this is a cute little hidden spot to come to for a fall experience.
As soon as you enter there is a small cabin like house where you can purchase apples already picked, apple pies, and cookies. Prices were reasonable but apples truly aren't my thing. All I was looking for were the apple cider donuts! So happy my best friend introduced me to these things, they are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! The donuts here are $5 for a bag of about 6, well worth the price.
We also did a tasting ($7 for four tastings and $9 for 6) of their hard apple ciders which were absolutely delicious. My favorites were the raspberry and the cinnamon flavors, but to be honest they were all pretty amazing. I have to take off two stars for this place due to parking and them not supplying enough picnic tables outside. There were literally 3 tables in the field near all of the activities. We also ended up going on a 90 degree September day so this really did not help.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - 27 sept. 2019
When looking for apple picking places I find a lot nickel and dime you for all the activities kids can do. Since my daughters only 15 months it didn't seem worth it. So we ventured here, there's two locations, we went to The one a little further down the road but only had apple picking, a small store and cider.
I don't recall there being a limit on people per bag, but each bag was $16 and cash only, the bag, a peck fit a lot of apples.
The orchard itself was small and inviting Which was perfect for my daughter and friends daughter, with the trees being low enough that you could have the children pick apples straight from the tree.
All in several rows are open as the other trees were not available to pick. Which worked out well. As all the apples are very delicious.
The cider itself was good as well, we got a flight as well as a pint, I definitely recommend going for the flights to see what you like best.
The only downfall was no actual bathroom just an out house, so keep that in mind, otherwise I definitely recommend coming here for a no-frills apple picking adventure, it's especially great for the little ones.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - F G.Westhampton, États-Unis071126 sept. 2021

My favorite time of year is here. Fall is truly my favorite season. Woodside orchard you did not disappoint. This was the best place to kick off the season for the fall festivities. Apple picking, apple cider tastings, and apple cider donuts were just what I needed in my life. Everything was pretty close to perfection. It's small and intimate and I loved every moment of being there. These are the memories that I live for. I went with four of my favorite people and we all loved it. Do yourself a favor and do the seven cider tastings for $9, you won't regret it. My favorite cider was the cinnamon cider, I regret not getting a growler to take home. The cinnamon cider was the best cider I've ever had. My second favorite was the traditional one. What a great day in a great place. I will absolutely recommend this place to everyone I know. I will make this an annually stop.
