This place saved our rescue kitten. He was found on the brink of death. We purchased the highest priced dry food, which made little Willie worse. Dr. Sue, the Cat Vet, recommended raw food diet, and Willie is running, playing, and gaining weight. His eyes and coat look much healthier. His rampant diarrhea has resolved.

The gentleman at the Woodbury location was incredibly helpful. He explained in detail what to do, and even gave us samples to start.

I cannot recommend this place high enough.

Woody's raw food has been a game changer to our two kitties. We turned to Woody's when we introduced a new adult cat into our urban lives. So... two cats who have totally different food preferences, yet drop the same equally stinky bombs in the cat litter of our little apartment. Halp.

Before, we were feeding them Beyond dry food and Blue Buffalo wet food; not exactly cheap stuff. But what one kitkat would like, the other wouldn't, etc. And again, that cat litter! So we decided we might as well source something nutritious, local, and not over-processed, and we were even told by a friend that Woody's raw food helps with their stinky poops. Ok sold.

The meat Woody's uses is human-grade and free of preservatives or fillers. You can choose options with natural supplements to help aid their healthy diet. Our kitties took to the raw diet pretty quickly! Their favorites: rabbit, cornish game hen (includes supplements), and free range turkey. The cats are healthy, more active, and wayyy less stinky! The food comes frozen so it's easy to stock up and just thaw them as you go. Due to COVID, you call ahead to place an order, and it will be left out for you contactless curbside pickup.

Stopped in on a whim. Incredibly friendly staff. The fostering of the cats is amazing. Gathered some info and no researching if this is right for our cat. If you do the raw meat thing for your pets, check out this place for the service alone.

Why is there NO mention of the FDA's Recall for your product from Salmonella?

The best place in town to get fresh, "Real" food for your pets, including cooked & raw. No recalls here! High quality products, including treats, bully sticks and other wonderful things. Customer service is topnotch! MaryAnn is extremely knowledgeable & helpful!
Everyone should do their pets a favor & ditch the kibble and go with real food.

We have been customers of Woody's on Snelling for over 4 years. Our dog, Queenie is much healthier since she began eating their food and our Vet is very pleased with our little girl's diet. Queenie inhales it so quickly I have to spread it in a thin veneer inside her bowl to slow her down.

I received an international award from the 'old WFM' for developing customer service (c.s.) training programs and constantly trained employees at most of my jobs. I would steal MaryAnn away if I had my own business.
I saw a couple of disparaging remarks on here about the service among all the rave reviews. For a business with variable flows of traffic and predictably undetermined stretches of downtime, keeping more than one person on the clock would be financially infeasible and unwise. So you impatient folks may have to wait a minute or two.
That's just life sometimes - but it's worth it here!

MaryAnn is extremely efficient and helpful invariably, while at the same time always letting you know how much she cares about you and your fur-baby. She connects with all the customers in the store at the same time, even if you are one who doesn't connect easily (me!). She hugged me when I came in & had been crying over a personal loss and yet never missed a beat when other customers came in needing her assistance.
After being celebrated for my c.s. skills, I find myself in awe at MaryAnn's c.s. abilities. She embodies the concept.

I absolutely love the product, unfortunately I didnt like the rude attitude of the person that usually works on the snelling location. I am not sure if this was just a bad day or if this is how she normally treats customers.

Everyone here is so wonderful and helpful! They are super knowledgeable about transitioning your pet to raw food and generally can help me figure out any issues my cats have. They always remember who I am, and what is going on in my life and with my cats. Its an amazing level of customer service.

They also have walk-in cages with foster cats, which always tempts me with the thought of more fur babies.

I adopted my sweet kitty 9 months ago from a rescue, and embarked on a (long, hard) journey to find food that she would eat.

Regular dry food? No.
Regular canned food? No.
Grain-Free dry/canned food? Sometimes.

Finally, after exhausting the options found at Petco, I turned to Woody's. Thank goodness I did. My cat adores this food. If I run out and feed her dry food, she gives me the stink eye and eats it begrudgingly. When I serve her food from Woody's, she meows and jumps up and down, and can't wait to dig in.

Her eyes are clear, her coat is soft and beautiful, she has tons of energy, and she's in excellent health. This food changed her life and I'm so glad I found it!

This location is closest to my home, and my personal favorite (though the Woodbury & Mpls locations are great too.) The staff, particularly Mary Ann, is so wonderful. They are always pleasant and welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about your pet.

I recommend Woody's Pet Food to any and everyone who has a pet.

i didn't even purchase anything i was in there for maybe two seconds and i'm already being told to step outside. there was a sign for two customers to be inside and there was only one other customer in there . as i was walking in i double checked through the window to be sure. instantly i walked in and was being crabbed at to get outside? kinda rude to not even say hi how are you can you step outside please? will not be visiting again, as i just moved here and was excited to see a more local looking pet shop. just a little rude of the first foot- remember woodys - first impressions are everything. wow
