Great experience. I got gel extensions for the first time and Alyssa was able to answer many of my questions about the extensions I was getting vs the other kinds offered. The salon itself is huge and it looks like they offer many more services. Their reservations system is online which made booking easy. My gel x manicure came out great!

I live in Thousand Oaks and wanted to try a nail salon closer to my work in Camarillo.
I have gone to this location twice. My first time without issue. The staff was kind and I was happy with my set and pedi.
The second also without issue.... until two rhinestones came off my nails the next day. I didn't have a problem with this as I workout regularly and I understand this happens. My issue was when I called requesting if they can be fixed and switched to French tip the same as my other nails so I would not have to risk having to come back. I can hear the receptionist talking to the owner about my request and I can tell by her tone of voice she annoyed/ rude and even stated I would have to pay $10. I didn't believe I should have to pay for fixing an issue only one day after they were just done and also when I already had paid such a high price....but I was willing to do so (keep in mind my nails are short and it was a simple white French tip I was requesting for on only 2 nails).
When I go to fix my nails she ( the owner) was working on a client and I could tell again she was annoyed. She did not even acknowledge me. I quickly changed my mind by seeing the attitude and decided just to have the rhinestones reapplied.
The receptionist ended up doing this for me.
I will not be returning or recommending this salon. Although the staff was nice and overall I had no issue with my nails. I find costumer service extremely important where I'm spending my hard earned money. If that was how the owner treats their costumers I will not be supporting. Hey Natalie this is jing from y2 nail bar , I read your yelp review, and I think we had a misunderstanding . When you called my receptionist she answered the phone , I was busy working and she told me that you wanted to change your nails to French , I didn’t know you only needed 2 nails to be fixed, I really feel bad , I was not trying to be rude or unfriendly, but I do understand where it comes from. From the bottom of my heart I hope you can give us a second chance, I appreciate your time, thank you for understanding the hard work the other girls do.

I give this place a "5 Star" excellent job on my nails!!
BUT....receptionist was not very friendly. I checked in and was not welcoming. I asked a question and it felt like I was bothering her. As I was leaving to pay and asked another question. Her answer was with an attitude. I felt very intimidated and not feeling welcomed. The "3stars" are for the receptionist. Idk if I'll ever be back. They do such an amazing job. They charge you a deposit fee to book an appointment and that was a red flag for me, but I still went in just to see what they where all about , the chick sitting by the front entrance next to the door was very rude and all attitude with that look on her face. Long story short I will never come back and the nails where blah .

I went to fix a previous gelX nails that were put on by another salon and were lifting and am very happy with how they turned out. The shape and size are much more flattering and believe after 4 days they are going to last. Pricey as compared to other - but I guess you get what you pay for

I just moved to the area and tried out this nail salon as I was looking for a new local spot to get my nails done. While I had a great experience there (staff was nice, the salon was clean, and overall I felt they did a good job), I am so disappointed as my gel manicure chipped after 5 days and then started peeling off my nails after a week. Usually a gel manicure will last me 2-3 weeks. Given the price I paid for a gel manicure and regular pedicure, I definitely expected more and dont think I will be going back.

I've always wanted to try this nail salon, I drove from Moorpark and was so pleased. The receptionist helped to schedule me, I told her I've had some bad experiences so she made sure to fit me in with the owner and said she would take care of me. From the moment I got there they made me feel welcome, most importantly the place was CLEAN!!! So clean and beautifully done. Jing took great care to do my nails, she did a full set (removing my old and replacing) in just one hour and didn't make me feel rushed. It will never worth making the drive from now on.
