My girlfriend and I came for a quick bite, and overall, I'd say the food was good!
This was my first time eating at the Sunset location. I ordered a shrimp salad, along with plantains and some vegetables. My girlfriend ordered a steak plate with rice and mashed potatoes.
The service was good. We didn't wait long for our food. The ambiance is very social! We sat outside facing Sunset Boulevard, which gave us a nice view of passers by and the Hollywood scene.
I'd give the food a 4 out of 5, mostly because of the plating. I just feel it could've been put together better.

Nicholas C.Central LA, West Hollywood, États-Unis3131226 avr. 2024Drove back from the desert...it was super late (2 am). Needed good non-fast food chain meal. Stumbled upon Bossa Nova on Sunset Blvd and was surprised they stayed open until 4 am.
Two of us shared a oicanha dinner. Not only did we enjoy a super delicious meal, but the server (Andre) made the late night supper even better. He was attentive, fun and a delight to talk to.

I'm only giving it 4 stars because of the 1st comments we received as we came in. I asked for a larger table, and the waiter refused to do so. The reason was that they cannot give a double table to a party of 2 because they need to allow more tables for more people. It was 5:30pm, and the place was almost empty!
We ordered so much food that they ended up giving us another table!
Aside from that, the skirt steak was amazing, and the plantains were to die for!
Definitely coming back

3828425027 janv. 2024Bossa Nova is honestly one of my favs in LA.. This location was cute & cozy right off of Sunset.
The service was mediocre & they weren't that busy but the food was on point per usual. I got one of the Cajun on Fire Chicken plates from the grill section, you get to select 3 sides with that I chose black beans, rice & plantains. The chicken was very flavorful & had the perfect kick of spice to it. I don't use any sauce I just eat it with the pico de gallo that it comes with. I love their fried plantains but they are stingy with how much they give you. I shouldn't have gotten rice as a side it's just too heavy & I barely ate any of it. They also have good drinks. The patio outside looked nice too but we decided to sit indoors because it wasn't warm enough.

Been here more times than I can count, and usually with big parties. Staff has always been friendly and helpful, love the outdoor ambiance especially on a summer night. Food has never disappointed when I've been!
