Wow! Absolutely amazing dinner. We ordered take out, everything was packaged well, sauce and utensils were provided. We especially enjoyed the bbq pork buns and pan friend dumplings. Only thing we would not order again was the chow mein. Everything else was incredible!

I wanted to love this place, and the owner is very nice. However, the food was super bland and boring. Little flavor. The small soup dumplings in tiny tins were juicy and delicious. Everything else was simply not good: chow mein noodles, chicken siu mai (with corn???), pork fried rice (tasteless), and scallion pancakes that were burnt and greasy. What happened tonight? Are all these reviews wrong, or did I hit a bad night?

I've been here a few times with the fam and everything we've ordered has been delicious. The restaurant is very clean inside and the workers are friendly. I don't eat pork so I haven't tried any pork based dishes but their overall flavor profile is tasty. So far I've had : scallion pancakes, har gow, chow mein, shrimp & chive dumplings, shrimp wantons, fried shrimp ball, fried fish fillet, chicken over rice (it's in a savory gravy), veggie bun, veggie dumplings, and steamed red bean bun. My only gripe is that I wish they had more chicken dishes.

I've been on the hunt for good dim sum close-ish to home and this definitely hits the mark! I'd definitely recommend doing takeout as the shop is pretty small. The food travels really well so I've never had an issue with doing delivery.
Their egg custard buns and sesame balls are excellent, and their har gow, pot stickers and pork buns aren't bad either. I haven't had much luck with good dim sum so this is definitely the best so far.
Don't get the chow mein though. Really bland and was just noodles with 2 tiny pieces of carrot. -

Love this place. Everything we ordered were great
Easy to order on their iPads. We're like delicious Dumplings and Chow Mein.
Thank you Tony and all kitchen team. Definitely recommend! -
So, after a day immersing ourselves with VAN GOGH, time for lunch. Place was a good 15 minute walk from where we were, regretted not driving there. Small place, they only have counters for eating, but the place seems to be thriving for take outs.
I ordered the bento box, it was filling and tasted surprisingly excellent. The hubby ordered siomai, chow mein, and braised pork over rice. Though the potions were small, it was satisfying as the rice certainly fills you. The cost is minimal....affordable for the budget, but then again that is relative since LA has a high cost of living.
Street parking only. I will dine here again if ever we find ourselves around the area once more. -

I am beyond impressed with ixlb DimSum Eats! This place is amazingly delicious! We ordered the Pickled Cucumbers, Scallion Pancakes, Chow Mein, Har Gow, Shrimp Wontons with chili oil, Siu Mai, Xiao Long Bao, Pan Fried Dumplings, Pork Fried Rice, Egg Custard Tarts, Red Bean Donuts, and the Iced Coconut Tapioca Drink. I absolutely loved everything but I might do without the rice and chow mein next time.
This place is a tiny hole in the wall. You'll know you found the right place when you see the giant dumpling painted on the wall. Lol. I love the artwork. At the moment there is no sit down dining. It's take out only. I'm not usually a fan of take out because I feel the food is usually cold by the time you get home. I have to say ixlb DimSum Eats packages everything so nicely that the food presentation kept everything looking great and it was all still warm when we got to the house. I can't wait to further explore the menu. -

DELICIOUS dim sum on a picturesque corner. The food was great and the workers were so friendly. The owners came out to talk to us while we were waiting for our food and they were the nicest people! Great experience overall and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in LA. The chow mein, spring rolls, and pork bao buns are a MUST!

Good Dim Sum in a pinch, the first I've had since the apocalypse began. The problem with Dim Sum to-go is that it doesn't maintain heat as well as other foods. Everything is separated in the packaging so by the time you get home, it's all lukewarm at best. This is particularly true with XLB and other steamed dumplings. I ordered the XLB and the Fried Shrimp Wontons in Chili oil. The XLB were barely warm when I got to it, but the Fried Wontons were still good. Of course this is not IXLB's fault. Next time, I will just have to eat it in my car right away. I also ordered the Chow Mein (which was still warm) and the Pickled Cucumber. The Chow Mein was a little plain in flavor but the Cucumbers were nicely seasoned with a bit of heat. The service was nice enough and I will definitely give them another try the next time I'm in the area.

First time for pick-up went smooth and was ready incredibly quickly, albeit a monday evening went it might have been slower. Had an assortment of dumplings and Chow Mein. Really really delicious. Sugar Donuts a la beignet style were awesome too.

Love this place ! I discovered it about a month ago and have ordered delivery via postmates about 6-7 times since. The Shrimp Har Gow are amazing along with the Shrimp and Chives. Surprisingly the food tastes great even through delivery which is hard to achieve. The spicy wonton shrimp is also out of this world but can be spicy. Go with the fried version and you'll thank me later. Chow Mein could use some work but everything else that i've had is really amazing.

Loved the quick and fast service and how tasty everything was. I got the fried shrimp and loved it, comes with a side cabbage and sauce, was not overly fried and was just perfect. I also got the veggie dumplings and it was okay (not very juicy or tasty, kinda bland (hence the 4 stars) otherwise I would give it 5 stars. I also ordered the chow mein and liked it but it was a bit dry. My friend ordered the juicy pork dumpling and loved it. He also ordered the pork bun and loved every bite. Very friendly staff and quick service so love that.

Modern store front but authentic flavor. Ordered the xiao long bao, shrimp wonton with chili oil, baked cha siu pork bun, smiling pork bun and red bean sesame balls. Great flavor, texture and ingredient ratio. The dumplings don't fall apart when you (..I should say I) pick them up. Cooked perfectly. Friendly service, easy phone in order and customer parking in back. Very mindful of hygiene, etiquette and cleanliness for the current times. My favorite part was taking a "fresh" pen, signing my check, then leaving it in the "used" cup. I'll assume these are disinfected, so thank you!!!
...went back for more -much more. Xiao long bao X2, sticky rice balls, braised pork/rice, chow mein X2, turnip cake, shu Mai X2, red bean donut, fried fish filet and coconut tapioca that I drank on the way home. Everything was so good. -

Hubs brought home lunch today after he did the Saturday Home Depot thing. We're off fast food, but this, although fast, is real food and it is delicious. I'll preface this with writing we loved everything we ordered. We had the Gai Bao which were light and w/o the barbecue sauce that's usually in bao. The Har Gow and pan fried chicken dumplings were excellent. The chow mein was a surprise in a good way. It was light and filled with crunchy vegetables in a perfect barely-there sauce. We ended our lunch with red bean donuts that were another great surprise in that who knew they'd be so perfect. No too sweet, not too heavy. Hubs mentioned the staff was very pleasant. Can't wait to try more dishes.

I kept driving by this place and seeing people inside so finally decided to try it for a light dinner one night. We got the chow mein, XLB, bbq pork buns, steamed pork dumplings, and the spicy shrimp wontons. Everything is on the smaller side, but priced on the smaller side as well and a few dollars cheaper than most other places. It's a fast casual type of place where you order at a counter and seat yourself which saves some of those costs. It's not the best dim sum I've ever had but for the price and convenience it's worth it. The chow mein definitely needed some type of sauce to be added as it wasn't too flavored as is. My favorite were the XLB and the steamed pork dumplings. The shrimp wontons were in a chili oil which wasn't too spicy and way too oily for the dumplings, I probably wouldn't order those again. Overall I'd recommend this place for a quick cheap meal if you're in the mood for dim sum!

It's a "No" for me. The concept for ixlb DimSum Eats is great. Come hungry, order, food comes out, quick dim sum and other foods, leave happy. I didn't leave happy. The food lacked real dim sum flavor, or much flavor at all. Perhaps I ordered al the wrong things? I ordered the Veggie Bun, Veggie Dumplings, and Chow Mein. The buns were so stuck to the paper that I lost quite a large amount, or ended up eating a bit of paper. The vegetable dumplings were not too bad, but for the price and with only 4, I'd rather go to a regular dim sum place. Also, the flavor was just okay. I had to use chili oil and soy sauce to give it some more taste. Finally, the chow mein was something I'd never order again. Bland, even with some chili oil and chili, I struggled to finish it. We also ordered custard buns, which was also okay...go to SGV to get yourself much better ones.
There's so many great reviews of this place, but I just don't agree. The best thing about this place was the service. Everyone who works here is so nice! The food came out at a decent time, so even though I was starving, I was able to wait. That's the other thing. Usually when I'm starving, even mediocre food tastes amazing to me...this time, I was still not impressed.
Over all, great concept, great service, but wouldn't waste my time with mediocre food. -

Talk about fast food but much healthier. We had Chow Mein; pan fried dumplings; bbq pork roll & Siu Mai. In less than 5 minutes Ordering was new age tablets on the wall show photos tap for ingredients & prices . No regrets except couldn't eat another bite. Speaking of prices only a couple of items are more than $4.50. Parking on street but I saw a small parking lot behind. Like many Asian restaurants you sit perched on tall stools at narrow counter no frills but very very clean small but great place

Ok, so I have been here twice and I am sold! I love it!very affordable fast food with great service and a nice clean place.. what more could you ask for. If you like spicy.. try the steamed or fried shrimp wanton in chili sauce. So good. I like the vegetarian chow mein as well. Pork dumplings were really juicy! And my only complaint is that they only have one size for fountain drinks averaging two dollars.

The owner was incredibly friendly! The space inside is pretty small, but it's manageable to dine in with a friend. If you're the kind of person who enjoys eating a small portion of food to satisfy your belly, this is probably the place.
I normally don't enjoy eating Chinese food but I have to say, these dim sums were surprisingly good! The chow-mein was a bit disappointing, but it might be because my taste buds are used to the fake Panda Express Chinese food taste. Make sure to ask for the top three popular dishes. It's delish~ :) -

Trying to remember the name of this place was almost impossible until we ate here, now I will never forget. "9 pound" "IX lb" or "the dumpling place on Bronson" - doesn't matter what you call it -these dumplings and flavors are exactly what you would expect from a top dim sum cart restaurant. The lack of chairs shouldn't be a problem for you because this is the place where you're supposed to dine and dash, the lack of any ambiance is replaced by staring at the burnouts and characters stumbling down Sunset Boulevard.
Har gow shrimp was plump and delicious. The veggie dumplings texture with the pickled vegetable and mushroom filling were tastier than the veggie dumplings at ocean seafood, one of the more popular dim sum restaurants in Los Angeles. That is saying a lot.
I would have liked to try the chow mein but it was sold out. The spring rolls were crunchy and fat, the soy sauce they make in house had a beautiful sweetness that made me think it wasn't even soy sauce- incredible.
Veggie bun was really good with a bao dough that was spongy and soft. My girlfriend wanted me to take a star off because the bao diaper got stuck to the bao but that didn't happen to mine, she should have eaten it faster, love you, moving on.
For a bunch of food for two people to split was $20, a bargain compared to other hip dim sum places like this concept. Staff was very friendly, will be back many more times.
