We found Portal Plaza Suites to be the perfect home base for our 10-day visit to Mendoza!

First, its location next to Plaza Chile puts the hotel within walking distance to a variety of shops, restaurants, and tourist spots. The staff was fantastic - always helpful with recommendations and local insights.

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable - our suite consisted of a bedroom with twin beds, a full bathroom, a small kitchen, and a living area with a dining table and a daybed. The included breakfast was a delicious spread of fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, eggs, and cereal, and was the best way to start our day!

I can't think of a single way our stay could have been improved!

This mom-and-pop style breakfast spot in Santa Rosa was the perfect place for us to stop on our way out of town after a beach trip. Although the place was packed with people, and it's seat yourself, a waitress assisted us in finding a clean table.

The menu is the standard fare - biscuits, hashbrowns, eggs, and bacon, so I was pleasantly surprised to see the 'Sunrise Bagel' listed on their specials board. With a choice of a plain or everything bagel, the bagel comes with a fried egg, bacon, tomato, and avocado.

The bagel and the fresh-squeezed orange juice were a great way to start my day!

Our group ate here for our first night in Mendoza - eating on the patio/garden was not only an amazing atmosphere, but was a great way to avoid jet lag.

Thanks to the great service and outstanding food our group continued to rave about the meal for days after. With it's convenient location to downtown Mendoza, Anna Bistro is a must visit spot!

I recently flew through IAH during an international trip. The terminals were easy to navigate, with plenty of food and drink options and places to sit.

My only complaint is that when going back through security after customs, there's no TSA PreCheck line available. After a long flight and trying to make a short connection, it was a little frustrating to have one more setback.
