Q:
Can you drop in? or ONLY reservations? They don't answer their phone!
A:
Depends on the day, time and size of your party. This is a popular spot, so I highly recommend reservations.

Do they have any birthday discount?
A:
When I went on my birthday, they didn't do anything special nor did they provide a discount.

I had made an online reservation but realized I had the wrong date when I arrived to check in. THANKFULLY the guy at the front desk was very helpful and managed to get us a table.
Thanks to him, my family and I enjoyed a wonderful New Year's dinner together. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Thank you!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 12 mars 2025
10 butchers has quality meats and spectacular service. It is on the pricier side so it's a great place to go once in a while or for special occasions. They offer a good amount of side dishes to accompany their Korean bbq meats. Also, they offered my son a kids meal (free of charge) that consist of rice, seaweed beef soup, and seaweed. Such a nice gesture!
I usually order three types of meat and it's more than enough for my husband and I.
High recommend!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - J C.Santa Rosa, États-Unis13 mars 2025
clean
dark but open layout, very attractive
A waiting line of a dozen people before they opened, and then the restaurant was packed full in 20 minutes
steak tartare with asian pear - long strings of meat, nothing fancy, a "B" but San Francisco's AB Steak with accompaniments is far superior.
Rib cap, while perfectly cooked, is disgustingly chewy - nothing like the tender filet mignon I was naively hoping for
One stingy thin paper napkin. Given their price point, they should have linen napkins.
tiny cup of complimentary soft serve ice cream was good for what passed for dessert
hot tea in a tall metal cup
excellent service from strkingly lovely waitress
This is all about your frame of reference.
If you've never been to Michelin quality high end restaurants in New York, San Francisco or Los Angeles, you'll think 10 Butchers is excellent.
If you have, you'll find 10 Butchers to be very good for the area, but that is it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Lana L.Seven Trees, San Jose, États-Unis156112 mars 2025
Disappointing Experience with Reservation Process
I recently attempted to make a reservation at 10 butcher and was disappointed by the inconsistent information provided by the hostess. Upon calling, I was informed that no reservations were available and was advised to try walking in instead. However, when I called back 20 minutes later, I was able to secure a reservation without issue. (This has happened to me more than three times.)This inconsistency in communication is frustrating and does not reflect well on the restaurant's customer service. I hope 10 butcher addresses this to ensure a more reliable reservation process in the future.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 5 mars 2025
I think 4.5 but I will round up to 5.
I came here on my birthday two nights ago. My friend made reservations for a party of 8 at 7:30pm. We got seated right away!
When you walk in they have all their beautiful cocktails on display.
I love all the sides and salads provided as well as the sauces and condiments. They refilled it all for us as well. I really enjoyed the green onion salad!
The service here was amazing, the food and meat quality was really good and the wait staff cook everything on the grill for you! Full service. They cook allt he food and cut everything for you. They even poured out the tofu soups to individual bowls for us.
This place is a bit pricey, but i think it is worth due the full service they give and the quality of the meats.
We ordered a good amount of food:
Tofu soup with seafood: tasty! Tofu so nice and soft
Tofu soup with beef: Same as above, good amount of beef in it too.
Japchae: noodles were perfect with plenty of flavor.
Seafood pancake: nice big chunks of seafood and the pancake was crispy
Wagyu Briscut: really good! I loved this one the most I think! So delicious.
Rib Fingers: I liked this one a lot. It was marinated so the flavor on this was bomb.
Wagyu Short Rib: I'm not sure if it was because this was the end and i was full, but this one was only ok to me.
They gave me a nice display of dessert and candles for me for my birthday. That was nice. :DHelpful 1Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - 4 mars 2025
Ambiance - 5: The place is modern, went ventilated, and quite roomy.
Food - 5: One of the best quality korean bbq you'll find around the area. Not AYCE (all you can eat) but you'll get what you pay for. Lots of options on various cuts and meats. Their side dishes are fresh and can definitely get full off of them! Love the two types of salads they also give with the BBQ - green onion and pickled onion. Everything I've tired here hasn't disappointed me.
Drinks - 5: Hawaiian Martini is probably my favorite drink there! All of the drinks I've tried are absolutely delicious and don't let the looks or name fool ya - they come with a kicker.
Service - 5: They cook the meat for you! So nice to eat in peace instead of having to cook for the table. They're also good at portioning out the food for a bigger party for all fairness.
This place does get packed so if you can make a reservation early, do. We went on a Saturday around 1pm expecting a long wait but were seated right away so it's a hit or miss! Good to go with the expectation of a wait and be pleasantly surprised.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 28 févr. 2025
Quite possibly the best Korean BBQ (or anything Korean) outside of Korea.
Upscale ambiance, service person cooked at your table, A5 Japanese and American wagyu, and different cuts.
Lots of young couples, seems to be popular love spot.
Wagyu wise the number 3 (brisket?) was similar cut to my impression and experience of Wagyu (had a shipment of Kobe beef from Kobe when touring Tokyo, arranged by tour guide). Number 1 seemed to be good quality beef, but didn't have the melt in your mouth texture.
The gobijjim (short rib stew) was of pretty high quality beef as well.
Overall was a great meal, but also didn't pay for it, personally the $100+ pp price tag is hefty for beef (even though it was Wagyu) essentially meal.
The pancake appetizer was also very enjoyable.
Great service (though make sure you arrive on time or they will not give you seats 15 minutes late, firm, even on a Thursday.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 10 mars 2025
Our experience here was fantastic! From reservations to seating location to celebration our honorary birthday! Service was on point as was our chef. The colorful array of ban chan and the quality of meat is top notch. The individual dishes are also delicious. Our beverages were always topped off and the grill was changed out after each meat choice was prepared. No smoky residue here at 10B. The restaurant thoughtfully prepared a thoughtful and beautiful birthday dessert for our party. Again, top notch. I would not hesitate recommending this establishment to everyone! Highly recommended.

Still doesn't disappoint! This time, our server, Sky, made the experience much more enjoyable than the last time we were here. Meat was cooked to perfection and he was engaging in conversation while handling his section so we always felt tended to despite how busy it was.
The food was amazing, especially the banchan. I LOVE the sweet potato, kimchi, and kimchi pancake. :) the additional sides were great but those were my favorite.
We came just before the dinner rush so it wasn't as loud and we were able to hear each other but it does get loud. However, everyone was mindful and the restaurant is spacious. Grill changes were also frequent so we didn't have anything burnt tasting or looking.
Don't skip out on the wonderfully crafted drinks, either!
Looking forward to coming back! $$$ but for quality meat and experience!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 115 déc. 2023Avis précédentDelicious and tender higher end cuts of meat that are grilled for you, which contributes to the experience!
It is definitely a place to come by to socialize in bigger groups than it is a date environment since it is so loud during dinner time - we couldn't hear each other talk.
Service was quaint and can be a hit or miss since it is so busy. But we got to enjoy the cuts of meat without feeling rushed, so that was enjoyable. The server comes back when you're done/almost done to cook the next cut of meat for you.
I enjoyed the pairing of the wasabi with the tender ribeye wagyu :) but I felt the bibimbap was flavorless UNLESS the soy sauce or hot sauce was added in. Granted, we were told after we ordered it that it wasn't seasoned but felt that it could have been since even with the sauces, it was still bland.
But I do want to come back here to try out lunch to see if the ambiance remains as bussling as it was for dinner! - 15 févr. 2025
Came here Saturday morning with a group of 6. We initially made a reservation via the website but due to an illness, we reschedule for two weeks later via phone and the person on the line change the reservation quickly and efficiently.
We were slightly late and they did inform us via text that they only hold the reservation for 15 min, but they gave us a little bit of grace and saved our table for a few more minutes. We were immediately seated once our whole party was present and our waitress Lisa brought us water and gave us some suggestions on what to get. She suggested ordering one portion of meat/one dish per person.
We got the prime rib eye, brisket, pork jowl, the marinate bone in meat, beef tongue and the beef mandoo. While the brisket didn't seem like a big portion, each piece was big. Our waitress cooked everything for us, starting with the rib eye and ending with the marinated meat. Someone came by to change the grill three times. You also get a variety of side dishes and onion and green onion salad. We asked for some perilla leaves but were told they do not serve that, except Lisa came a little bit later with some marinated perilla leaves and some soybean paste, garlic and jalapeños.
Since they do serve premium meats, it can be expensive to dine here, but I've never had a bad experience here so far. The parking lot was packed before noon as there are some popular boba stores in the same plaza and some other stores. I would definitely recommend this place to people who love KBBQ, but want a more elevated experience compared to a place that does AYCE.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1
