Man, oh, man am I going to miss this place. We're moving out of the area but needed to squeeze in one more delicious Filipino breakfast before we left. Tapa for me, Tocino for him. Scrambled for me, over easy for him, both with the amazing, amazing garlic rice. Breakfast at the Fairfax Inn has been a standard for us for the past 13 years. A weekend treat every few months, and the "you gotta try this" place that we'd take out of town guests. Simple, friendly, no frills, fantastic food. Now I'm left to only regret that we didn't have breakfast there more often, and we never ventured in for lunch or dinner. This place is an absolute local gem.

Great addition to the Rehoboth restaurant scene! We've ordered carry-out from Aroma 3 times in the last 2.5 weeks with various friends/family, which is an unusual frequency for us anywhere. But, it's been that good, and they're doing carry out that well. Food is good, portions are reasonable, and while not inexpensive the value is there. So far folks in our groups have tried: the original hummus, the sun dried tomato hummus, the aroma dip platter (which is a fantastic way to try all of their yummy dips -- I may order that on it's own for parties from now on), the borek, falafel, pickled red cabbage, lamb chops (these are a favorite!), the Aroma special (plenty of food for two!), grilled boneless chicken thighs, grilled chicken kabob, adana kebab, grilled kofte, okra, and their baklava and chocolate cake. Almost everything has been absolutely delicious (the falafel was a tad dry for me, but their yummy tahina made up for it). One bit of advice would be if you order dips, order extra pita...that was the one mistake we made the first night....not enough bread for the hummus. Looking forward to trying them dine-in at some point.

Small, with a nice neighborhood feel. Great sandwiches for both breakfast and lunch. Busy, but efficient and the staff were all top notch. Prices seemed super reasonable for what we got.

We were in town for a concert and wanted sandwiches to take to our tailgate. Stopped in the day before to double-check on their hours, knowing some businesses are changing their hours due to COVID. Everyone couldn't be nicer.

The next day I ordered on-line and in the comments asked for an upgrade on one of my sandwiches (meat to be added when there wasn't a place to indicate and be charged for it online). After placing the order they immediately called me to confirm it, and to let me know since I'd paid on-line I'd need to pay for that upcharge when I picked up the sandwiches -- no problem at all and I appreciated the call. They were super busy and easily could have just told me when I got there that they couldn't do it because I hadn't paid for it.

If we make it back to Mansfield, we'll definitely be returning here!

Great Family Fun! Rented a 10 person pontoon for a half day with my extended family -- six adults and four pre-teen/teenagers. Great experience all around -- from check-in and instruction, to docking at the end of the four hours. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, the boat was in great shape, and we all had a blast. Would definitely rent from Dewey Beach Water Sports again!

      Well Executed Carry Out Special!

We've eaten in at a the Pines a few times, and always had a good experience. This review centers on our recent COVID carry out experience. Two meals for $24?!? Hard to pass up! Ordering was an easy phone call and the order was ready and brought out to the car almost exactly at the quoted time. Everything was packaged thoughtfully, including separating the sauce for my shrimp and grits, and packaging up the ice cream for our bread pudding ( ordered separate, didn't come with the special) in a separate bag. The blackened shrimp and grits held up well to carry out and were yummy, and their collard green side was fantastic. Fried chicken portion was huge! The special also came with a fresh and crispy house salad and really, really tasty bread and butter. I suspect the bread pudding that we ordered tor dessert....that will now likely be breakfast in the morning....will also be fantastic. We're not comfortable dining in right now due to COVID and based on this experience The Pines will definitely be a regular addition to our carry out rotation.
